Freewing Mig 29 Fulcrum Painting, Airbrushing, and Weathering - Splinter Camo Livery - Twin EDF Jet

- Repaint of the Freewing Mig 29 "Fulcrum" twin 80mm EDF jet. This project called for a mixture of rattle cans and airbrush. As always, the airbrush colors are cheap Apple Barrell acrylic paints thinned down using Createx Reducer. Each of the different paint colors and PSI settings used are shown in the video. Rivets were added using a toothpick.
Fulcrum looks great in this splinter camo . good job !!

Man you do a great job ! beautiful !!! Do you use a app to edit your videos on your phone . I video some of my flights and projects I work on but they are so boring and can't add anything on when I pause it then it just records a new video instead of adding it on to the original . What do you use if you don't mind ? Beginner here with videos lol pain in the butt !
Thank you much! I used the free windows movie maker app for this video. I now use a program called Filmora from Wondervision. It can do much more. I'd recommend it for any CZcamsr. Good luck.

Great work! Did you do any prep to the airframe before applying the rustoleum white? Can you still see the outlines from the pre-applied digi camo?I'm beginning my repaint this weekend. I may have to give the toothpick riveting a try.
Thank you much. Nope I just shot the rustoleum white without any surface prep of any kind. The stock water-slide decal outlines are no longer visible. Good luck with yours!
How come the aerosol can didn't burn the foam?
Rattle cans are compatible with EPO foam like this. It's the EPS foam they will eat (and quickly). Ask us how we know 😏

Nice wrk how long between cotes before u pill the tape without pulling up the paint
Thanks. I let the paint dry at least 12 hours before masking on top of it. It took me about 3 weeks to paint this one. So some of the tape was stuck to the plane for about 3 weeks before removal.
