Greetings, I need some help or guidance on how to setup a tray of IC's on Zevatech PM570 Laser. I setup the Top coordinates X and Y also Pitch X and Y and Division (component amount) X and Y. Also I setup the pick poisition at the back, position slot, angle (0) and others xy coordinates. But i keep receiving an error which is E5607: Step Counter Error which i dont under stand I did everything in component data and pick position. I think i missing something which is i don't know. I'm knew to this setup and programming. Thanks and God Bless.

this is awesome! im a buyer for a component disti.(diodes inc) and (alpha omega semi). always wondered how all this worked since i look at MPNs all day like bav70-7-f and such. always wondered why reel size mattered ha thank you! cheers!
Can someone tell me what the reason is that such a machine has only 1 led segment and 2 buttons for programming settings? Is it cost wise? I would assume such a machine is already expensive. Or is it normal procedure to use the software for all programming?
1 segment display and 2 buttons i would guess keeping cost down and keeping to a minimum foot print. As for programming i would have through setting up feed rate would have been be better in dealt with software and blasted to the microcontroller of the lane but they have other ideas. Lane addressing would need to be done on the lane in advance so the software knows what its talking to incase you swap or install different lanes.
hi, can you explain me what is the function of A? i mean after pushing both botton (upper and lower) and entering in A function, what can you choose?
A means your in the menu to setup the feeder lane addresses.

The reels don't come with the component measurements?
most tapes and reels are a standard size but I've had a couple of odd ones I think it depends on manufacturer. The old cheapo sweat shop verses good quality brands, I've had both cases so got into the habit of measuring them.
+Daniel Pierce if you mean the the components themselves then yes and no, usually the length and widths are a given ie 0402, 0805 etc but heights can a bit very with component values especially capacitors.

This is absolute crap, there's a camera inside the machine, the Slots could be measured with the camera and nearly be configured by itself. Since this is an old feeder just imaging having to do that idiotic setup for 60 feeders... time burning...
