It only repeats the position you told it to go to. So you might put it in the right spot every time or the wrong spot every time. And it does nothing to control the orientation of the part. Extremely limited value and applications, considering the high cost.

Hi, for component in the carousel, how do you ensure the pick-and-place probe placed exactly in the middle of the component? it seems the guided hole did not take into account the offset of the position of the component when you pick it.
I was curious about that also. Looking at the placement of the two ICs at 3:21 to 3:32 it looks like the guide pin gets you to the nominal part location but gives you some wiggle room to manually align while placing.
If the system sees to what angle the part needs to be turned and indicates the location, then I do not understand why it was not equipped with additional four motors (moving + rotation), and only an inspection was left on the person
I'd imagine that this product level would suit those smaller businesses who cannot afford to outlay more than $150,000 on an automated pick and place machine - especially considering that that small business might already have the skilled staff on site, which makes the case for a serious investment in an automated pick and place machine even less tangible.
Well admittedly, $150,000 was an assumed figure - and it's also very difficult to find pricing for an Industrial PnP machine. All the websites want you to sign up to get prices :E
A "real" business isnt going to DIY a pick and place machine or buy a 20 year old used one. Plus the setup times on many large machines outweighs any time advantage. Hence the niche for this machine.
Joe Ambly >> Define "real business". Neither SpaceX or Tesla started out buying high end equipment right off the bat. I wouldn't consider either of them not being real businesses
by the time you set that up you could build one by hand easy, if your gonna do volume just get the pnp, does't need to be a fancy one either, get a used one with a few perks and warranties. You could modify that setup and make is faster by using a microscope and a mouse controlling the placement wand instead of this non-sense.
At 3:37, it looks like component, "RIVX 55M" has the lower left first two pins soldered together as an accidental short ???? Hope I'm wrong... Honestly I would o with rectangular solder needle dispensers, as they might avoid such tragedies...
If the board is still being placed, then the solder paste has not yet been melted. When it is, the surface tension will easily pull the solder onto the pad. This is pretty standard in SMD soldering, and is part of the reason for the solder mask layer.
I liked the tutorial I am smt operator here in Tijuana Mexico can upload videos of commands for universal machine automatic insertion in Spanish. I am interested in greetings from Mexico.
you can get a quote at the fritsch website, but make sure you're sitting down before you open theyr email... it's probably around 15k€, soo, better go buy a simple but fully automated SMT placer for 5k€ in asia, do it completely by hand, or actually buy something else that is a bit more reasonably priced...
I love the dynamic guide hole that makes sure your putting the component in the exact correct spot!
It only repeats the position you told it to go to. So you might put it in the right spot every time or the wrong spot every time. And it does nothing to control the orientation of the part. Extremely limited value and applications, considering the high cost.
man this is the coolest toy i seen in a long time :O
great job!!
Muito interessante. Nunca tinha visto placas construídas feita a mão.

NICELY DEMONSTRATED
With that intro - I thought I was about to start playing Ratchet and Clank on ps2
wow sir ur intro impressed me :D
Great operation!
When you wanna build boards like grandpa used to but everything is smt
Amazing. So beautiful!
Excellent video @Paul Cooper, do you construct manipulators too?
Very cool , I thought I was useless when components stuck to to the tip of my soldering iron .
Thank you!
My fear of SMT components increases.
Thankyou excelent video
Content starts at 0:23.
😂😂
c'est génial 👍
Today SMT is is the technology in electronics and if quantities are not very high, this semi-automatic system is promising !
Awesome!
To integrate a general purpose common component placement arm set will be a good investment.
Yes human.. Do my bidding! Assemble my brethren!
Great, and we have SMT whole line equipments, are you interented in it?
Did you notice 3:35 wrong direction of IC mounting, it catched my eye.. 100% secure, yes)
good catch, you were paying attention. (like someone placing smd should have been doing) ;-)
I did noticed the same. This machine needs to improve and solve this problem.
Or - not make a 100% claim gaurantee that no error will happen in the first 5 seconds of video.
fseeletronicos © this is not a problem with the machine. The operator controls the position of the components as was demonstrated moments before the placement of the IC in question.
Erich Stein the video did not make any claims that no errors would happen. It stated 100% SECURE PLACEMENT. Nothing more.
Excelent!!!
Amazing please must see this will help you and me both...
@
Thanks...
Beautiful
Nice video, thanks :), where did you get it from ?
Fantastic tool !
What is the mark and viscosity of solder paste that you are using ?
Any can be used..
Nice man
Excellent.
Hi respected sir video is very intresting thsnks a lot. Seeing this i m very happy
great solution for rework and prototype of high value products in high power electronics or medical or military or aerospace sectors.
I would have loved to hear what you had to say. Since I can't see well enough to read it.
nice!
WAW OK GOOD YES
THANKE YOU THANKS
Nice
Fantastic
I think, this one is also not cheap. Finaly a automated one is much more efficient. Before i use this i can also use just by hand.
Good job

It's like an engineers wet dream
Intro video verywell. Where is link? Help me please!
I want one!
So, do they also have a version for us are left-handed?
Im also left-handed, but its actually pretty convenient to operate with right hand
@@IvanFedulov Do you have one? If yes what are the top 3 disadvantages you would count? Many thanks in advance
goods
How’s the accuracy
Super

I need a full automated one.
we have a full automated
if you need ,Please contact me: ming@smthelp.com
hello where can i buy this product ?
Why though? What advantages does this have over a automated one?
I'd imagine that this product level would suit those smaller businesses who cannot afford to outlay more than $150,000 on an automated pick and place machine - especially considering that that small business might already have the skilled staff on site, which makes the case for a serious investment in an automated pick and place machine even less tangible.
$150,000? Serious? You can get them for under 10 thousand or build one for a fraction of the cost.
Well admittedly, $150,000 was an assumed figure - and it's also very difficult to find pricing for an Industrial PnP machine. All the websites want you to sign up to get prices :E

Sir Any place to work there. I like to learn and do works on PCB.

I think this isnt meant for mass production, this is for making some prototype sample pcb

ssoo, what do i exactly gain by using this (not so very cheap) machine ?
Speed and accuracy.
Not to be confused with Full Semi Auto.
Wat is the price sir plz tell me i want 2 buy this 1
How to solder them then palaced
It's price and availability
you know that tweezers and a big table cost less than that right?
you know a donkey costs less than a helicopter right?

Greetings from Kiev!
Good work
How much it costs approximately ?
And where I can order it online

and what music track is playing?
Kf016901 universal mind...in credits
Looks like its more complicated than doing full automation
what is the price of this machine

😀😀😀
Cnc or manual
I bought an old quad for a couple grand, probably cheaper, ants its automatic
3:38 IC is wrong orientation.. Potential flaw?
Wow that probably takes forever.
Flipping station
Sar is machine ko padh chij karna ho to kaise parichit karenge
Or kaha milegi
Placing of components , that's so frustrating
