Do you think 4 signings would be enough for Man United this summer for it to be a success?
yes, if they spend it correctly
No I think the 2 cbs are good but I donât think the Everton cdm is good he only has height really he will only have corner threats
If we sell the deadwood yes but if we still have the deadwood then kinda nah , but we could improve better from the past season
Just hoping that the new signings don't look bad when playing with the players that aren't supposed to be here like mctominay , maguire ect
Not enough Sam but it's probably realistic as we won't have our execs in position for summer.
Squad needs so much work. It's bloated in some areas. It is so unbalanced & poorly constructed because of years of ineptitude.
No. Minimum 5 players need to go this window. Then another 5 in january. Atleats 13 players need to go. For this team to have some structure.
So this window united need 5 minimum signings.
We need 2 CB's, a CDM, a ST, a LB & RB, another CM and RW. Oh wait... we need a new squad
I'm OK with the RBs tbh, for now at least. We need someone to replace Rashford
Right back is probably one of better positions for NOW
We need an overhaul of signings. Iâd say 2 cb 1-2 cdm,1 box to box 1 st. 1 right winger and 1 left winger. This is keeping in mind that we get rid of lots of players, if not then prob just 4 of those signings which suck.
That's exactly what I've written down
Yea we legit need a new signing in every defensive position (AWB debatably would be fine for another season if we actually play him in his preferred position as a backup), at least two more defensively oriented midfielders to rotate with Kobbie, a backup ST, and (depending on how Amad/Antony finish the season) a new winger for depth. Thatâs at least 6 signings, but 4 would be a very good start.
A backup winger would be nice as well
None of this will matter if we don't sort out the medical team as we'll still just have injury after injury.
Masterpiece created by Woodward and gang for the past decade đđŸđđŸđđŸđđŸđđŸ
Van gal Jose and Ole brought in their players still in squad ten hag also has brought in a few duds as well as having crap people at the top club has always brought in wrong managers
or the 16 players that were brought in by ten hag. stop blaming woodward and arnold for antony onana mount weghorst even hojlund a 30 million player. ole personally wanted brexit team thats why he insisted on maguire sancho wan bissaka and also wanted pickford michael keane john mcginn sean longstaff calvert lewin grealish but you wouldnt know that phelan worked with maguire and he was pushing for it would you. clueless as usual
â@@stevemitch8320onana and hojlund are good signings if mount clicks he is ok and weghorst was loan if he wouldnt had come whou would have eth played and see today how much youngsters are worth if we waited one more season then we would miss on hojlund like we did on haaland, bellingham etc
@@richardnolan1013 Only Martial, Rashford and Shaw remain from Van Gaal's time. They were all brought in young too. It's not that bad. You'd say from Mourinho's time perhaps. Even then, not so much. The commonality is really between Ole's time in charge and that of Ten Hag.
â@@stevemitch8320 how many have actually been for a decent fee? He's been forced to plug gaps with free and loan signings. He wanted De Jong got Casemiro and Amrabat, Kane, got an injured Hojlund on his own, wanted Kim and got Evans
We need to sell Rashford and everything will be OK đđđđ
That's cap! We need 3 CB one
That can play as LB, 2 MF (CAM and DM)
2 wingers at one that can play in CF or ST position
Have they the balls to do it?? I really hope so, it would really send out a strong statement that we're finally getting ruthless
They canât sell Rashford
I guess he has a small share in Carrington
@@vitalisanasudu8408 i think he's got board members balls in a jar at home
Tosin adarbayo is available on a free. Not bad as a backup option .
They need 9 players comfortably. 2 centre backs, 3 midfielders, 1 striker, 1 winger, 1 left back, another goal keeper to push Onana. Four players is not open heart surgery (According to Ralph Ragnick).
Realistically, We only need at most 7. A Left back, 2 CB's, 2 midfeilders, 1 striker, and one RB, I think there are too many wingers at united. Even if we sell Rashford, we still have Garnacho, Amad, Pellistri. And we have Shea Lacy coming through. I would take it as a luxury signing. And we already have Bayindir. There's no use of wasting money on a goalie if its not necessary
Not forgetting that we have some good prospects in academy that can be backup
â@@NubisKubis-gc9if we need leftback Amass at the age of 16 ? Considering epl is very physical we can't survive
â@@NubisKubis-gc9iflet man utd sign a left and not gamble with players that don't fit that position plus amass is still learning so don't rush him to the squad bcoz you'll be the ones to throw shots at him if he fails
@@NubisKubis-gc9if he isn't ready yet, epl is not a joke man especially defending against physical forward it's total mess
@@NubisKubis-gc9if The question you should be asking yourself as a united supporter is are they worldclass?.....is amass ready? I don't think so and lets not rush.....let amass develop to a full proper first team player both physically and mentally cuz if we rush and he doesn't meet the expectations youll throw shots at him......alvaro and malacia aren't worldclass in that position we need a proper quality player in each position....and we are starting with left back......if we get a worldclass one we sell some in that position and use that money to sign on other places.....amass will be worldclass yes but right now he's 16 and we don't want to risk that load of talent to first he might get bad injury at tge age and you know the outcome bruh
@@NubisKubis-gc9if we don't need only back ups we need first team players who are going to fight for position in the first team. Going with shaw as our main Lb we already know the outcome cuz that lad is always injury prone.....malacia is good player but not worldclass in that position
Danny Welbeck is actually a good shout, underrated suggestion IMHO
ETH just needs to keep bringing the youth through they understand the DNA of the club
Like rashford did?
The problem is they then get sucked in to the toxic mess. We need to rid ourselves of the problem players
No time, majority want him gone
Thatâs the real pity with Casemiroâs injury seemingly robbing him of a yard of pace that you canât afford in the prem because heâs not a toxic player atall, really professional and all round nice guy, arguably our most important player last season, he did so well protecting the defence, but that yard of pace heâs lost is everything in such a fast league
I would sign Todibo (CB), Palacios (DM), HincapiĂ© (LB/CB), Simakan (RB/CB), Guirassy (ST), Ăderson (CM), and if we have the budget Summerville (LW/ST) and Caqueret (DM). Would cost a lot but if we can sell Sancho, Greenwood, Casemiro, Maguire, Wan Bissaka, and a couple others I think we would have enough
Who's gonna buy all them
@@arjunghanekar6140 when Saudi exists, anything can happen
Sell Rashford too
Best way to rebuild a squad are by creating some steps and trusting the process.
Firstly we need a good backroom staff such as coach for set pieces , defense, offence, chance creation. New medical team.
Secondly we need to fill in the positions which is really needs new signing such as cdm, cb and Lb.
Thirdly, we need to sell/let go all the player which are not good enough as well as player which are injuries prone such as luke shaw , martial, Mctominy, marcus, sacho, victor, AWB, Greenwood, Varane , Casimero, Van de beek, pellistri, Eriksen, Johnny evans.
Lastly, Fill all the position which are sold.
Bruno, Antony, and Harry Maguire, we give one more season before replacing them if still not good enough
You got to remove Rashford from the squad
ASAP! He should be the number one on the list
How? Who's going to buy him?
â@richardjones8699 in such market and player transfers. Trust me, someone definitely will
@@richardjones8699 psg are stupid enough to buy him
ASAP!!! Bad apple out.
2 CB's:
- Mathijs De Ligt (bayern munich)
- Jerry St. Juste (Sporting cp)
[option] - Alessandro Bastoni (inter)
1 ST:
- Lois Openda (RB Leipzig)
1 RW:
- Donyell Malen (Dortmund)
1 LB:
- Alejandro Grimaldo (bayer leverkusen)
(or)
- Destiny Udogie (spurs)
1 RB:
Jemerie Frimpong (bayer leverkusen)
We need a complete review of all players and staff. This does not take 5 mins, it does not guarantee success overnight or even a year. I EXPECT a ruthless summer, BUT you cant throw the baby out with the bathwater. We need to keep someone in position X until we can replace them. Bite down hard people its going to hurt. However look at the improvements made this summer by INEOS as a glimpse of whats to come in following years not weeks.
Wow nice point
i think we need 7 signings not 6. I'd add a RW because of Antony and Sancho. Unless EtH (if he stays) starts to trust Amad and give him more minutes.
Amad has been great when heâs set foot on the pitch, he did everything we could have expected of him while on loan, he was phenomenal in the Liverpool game where he scored the winner and was a breath of fresh air against Bournemouth I donât see what the hold up is? Heâs not even limited to RW either he does well drifting centrally and linking the play, I think he could do well as a CAM and he can even play false 9! Heâs got a huge part to play in our future!
Mario Hermoso (free, LB/LCB), Guido Rodriguez (free, DM), Rafa Silva (free, ST), Ndidi (free, DM) actually wouldnât be bad options and would help free up cash for bigger transfers once the full recruitment team is in place (targeting signings that can seriously upgrade the playing team)
A serious club would buy between 6-7 good players
How's that possible with FFP?
@@richardjones8699 Shrewd business...they don't all have to be expensive signings
We need to tap into the South American market
@@abiodunalese3879 We're on the cusp of FFP now but you think we can sign 6-7 players with "shrewd business"? They'd have to be for pennies unless we can get players out for good money.
@@richardjones8699 this is where proper scouting comes into the picture to get promising players, oh wait... We don't have proper scouting to begin withđ
Multi-functionality/versatility is the key, and missing on your list. The problem with signings like Branthwaite, Hjulmand and Dorgu for me is they all have 1 position they're good at, while a player like, for instance, Riccardo Calafiori would cover all 3 of those positions. He would probably start for us as leftback, but would also be a perfect replacement for MartĂnez when he's absent. That's smart business and squad building.
Yes, 4 signings should be the max or it may disrupt the squad dynamics. priority should be CDM,RCB,ST,LB in that order and it may change the entire way we play, but these signings are most probably starters. Onana, Todibo, Guirassy (or sesko depending on the budget), theo (if shaw moves to cb). i chose lb cuz its been mentioned a lot but if they are not going for it, a cm or cdm is my 4th priority.
Totally agree with you, even had Danny Welbeck on my list. Guirassy, if he wants to come. Only thing I disagree with is Onana as CDM. I think we need a regista type to get better organized. Neves would be the best, but too expensive. I think palacios, zubimendi, mandela Keita, André Trindade and Mats Wieffer should be CDM targets. I would actually try to buy Eric Martel as a different option CDM. He's the Onana type destroyer CDM, but maybe 20m instead of 70, but also rock solid and he can play as a back up CB as well. I would look at Mittelstadt as left back and I would love Joey Veerman or Orkun Kokcu as No. 10, if we manage to sell some players.
hopefully we see more of players like kambwala and also harry amass and many others in pre-season this summer, see the qualities of them and then see what we need to do. Before this season kobbie mainoo was in the same shoes as such players and hes already a solidified starter
depends on what you mean by 'enough'. won't be enough to challenge for the title, won't be enough to appease a lot of fans, but i think it will be enough to get the process of turning the team over started, especially if they get the right spine players in. i also think they need to find a way to take the armband from bruno so that he doesn't have to start every game and they can change up the playstyle in both attack and defence.
We are gonna have squad overhaul in 2 seasons. Promising acedemy graduates, and clinical signing including some big young names and under the radar signings is what united need.
GGMU
It's all about Selling players more than buying...I really mean it...sell these four players first,we will solve 90% of issues trust me.Rashford,Maguire,MCT and martial.
Add Bruno lindelof shaw casemiro varane Eriksen

Man.u has too many players, but theater are whack
Wipe the team
Sieve it properly
Like,we only need 5 players from this current squad including the bench
Martial is already leaving on a free this summer
@@vitalisanasudu8408 see talk practically with sense...with frustration we can say change the whole squad...it's not the game on FIFA.its reality
Only a few worth keeping Onana, Mount, Hojlund, Martinez, Garnacho, Mainoo, Kambwala, Ahmed, Bruno the rest are done....
U are right
@@vitalisanasudu8408 Defo pal clear out needed
Your positions are spot on and realistic, just the players like the secondary signings of CB and CDM, they can be bargain buys since United only buy 3 signings per window
Considering our transfer fund limitation, I think we need to properly mix new signings with promoting/developing our academy players. We need to develop Kambwala further to the level that we can have him become at least our 2nd option for CB. On the other hand, let's hope that Amass will get the opportunity to play in the 1st team (if not given this season) and further develop.
After seeing how ETH wants us to play, I think getting 2 CBs and 2 CDMs, all athletics types, should be the priority. Getting Branthwaite and Onana as a package deal will be god send. But if we are limited by fund, other than Todibo and Hjulmand, maybe we can explore to get Ederson (Atalanta) and Jorrel Hato (Ajax) as possible cheaper alternatives?
Getting Wellbeck will be great! Not only Rasmus, but Wheatley can possibly learn a lot from Wellbeck and hopefully get promoted to the 1st team!
I've seen a lot of talk of signing 2 good CM's / CDM's and playing a 4-4-2 diamond and I like it
Honestly think we need 7-8 signing but that wont happen will take 2-3 windows. I Love your 2 CB choices Sam I would take exactly the same could be best in PL within a year, Dorgu has great potential and for me Onana, he is a must buy perfect partner for Kobe serious athlete, big engine, strong, ariel strenght, defensive duel monster, only 22, technically v good at recieving posession from cb and good switch of play ability. He has areas to develope but for 22 he has most of the tools you could dream of in a cdm. Im not sure about Hjlulmand tbh think he will be average at best, maybe a young lesser know back up at cdm? Redondo maybe? Not mad at Welbeck for 1-2 seasons but I think we need a winger urgently Olise or Nico Williams someone with more creative passing than Rash/Garno otherwise we will end up the same with Hojlund struggling with shelfish players all around him and ruin someone with great potential.
Although I agree we need signings to really progress we canât forget the youth & giving them a pathway like kobbie. There is one or 2 particularly amass at LB that should be given a chance.
I totally agree with the characteristis of players we should get
In a way, i dont evem see the striker position as a problem position because our wingers dont play with their striker in mind. Our attack goes to die at the wings with the likes of rashford, leaving the striker isolated.
Bring in a player like kvaratskhelia or mitoma and see our play transform overnight. Basically a technically gifted winger over a 2nd striker.
@NubisKubis-gc9if yeahh true.just players of that calibre. Lol, facts. I don't want olise either.
I don't think it's about whether these are the positions that need an uograde, but rather, what they feel needs to be upgraded first with the money they have.
Know you know what the fans want thank you for the post
I don't think 4 signings is enough to make us serious title challengers. But I think it could be a good start of the transformation, and realistically probably around the max limit of what can be achieved in one summer.
In addition to the signings for the 4 positions Ornstein mentions, I would like another CB, another winger, a RB and maybe even another CM unless the youth setup comes through very soon.
I think in the long term Shaw could be Martinez's back up next season based on his reduced fitness. Any amount we would spend on Branthwaite could be spent on a permanent solution at LB. Grimaldo from Leverkusen is unlikely but someone of his profile who is an experienced player and good going forward so that atleast that might be a channel for some good crosses to Hojlund.
I think United would be lucky to get decent replacements for CB, DM and ST.. Hopefully 1 fullback that can do a job at both LB and RB.
Someone like Welbeck would be a pretty good option I think. Someone to be a rotation player and has more experience that Hojlund can hopefully learn from.
A.Onana and Branthwaite might cost quite a fair bit.. but they are proven in the league, young and would bring some much needed physicality and aerial ability to a relatively small United team.
Signing 4 reliable players and getting rid of at least 3-5 players would be amazing. Hopefully already a big improvement.
To those points please add:
Lineup: 4 3 3 being best
Motivation and commitment: not just play for the sake of playing, but aiming at winning.
I'm with you Sam, we need more than 4 but that would be the absolute minimum.
Arguably need 2 x CMs, 2 x CBs, 1 x LB, 1 x CF and 1 x RW (if someone like Sancho and/or Greenwood leaves).
Doing all of that would mean theres a chance of competing. But it won't all be possible in one window, so at least get 2 x CB, 1 x CM and 1 x CF in this window. Am hoping one of Shaw or Malacia comes back and Fernandez proves himself on tour.
If we go after an LB in this window, I'm with you on Patrick Dorgu.
Great video Sam
Couldn't help laughing for Danny Welbeck but can see the thinking behind it. Damn, I don't know if that's a good enough squad.
We need a RB, LB, 3 CBs, 3 CMs, RW, LW, ST.
And regardless if Ten Hag stays or go, we need to upgrade the coaching staff, because I doubt they're best in class considering the way the club has been run. Similar fashion to the player recruitment, new guy comes in and we hire some of their former colleagues.
Rebuild the squad I don't think is the immediate issue Sam, its clear we are not good enough at this moment on time, changing the manager in my opinion would be absolute madness. The Rebuild as got to start from the bottom up in terms of the teams performance, like I've said before ten haag has put these steps in place, getting the youth teams right through playing the style he wants to play in the first team is key to his plans (in my opinio) getting the best team around him physios etc and bringing some experience in the first team, leaders, then feeding some of these youth players seamlessly into the first team, they will already understand the way the first team play its 2 or 3 year project short term pain is definitely worth log term gain, to bring another manager in just upsets the whole project, we got better results last season not playing the way ten haag wants to play, he had to do this to keep his job and get these plans in place but now it's about this is the way we want to play (it not working) because the majority of the players can't play thus style, give it 2 seasons from now and truly believe we will be exciting and challenging with a young squad who understand the way he wants to play patience
To think though, under ten hag we have flourishing signings. Onana, though costed us the champions league, has PROVED that he's a top quality goalkeeper. Hojlund, Martinez, Antony (recently), mount, malacia (last season). In terms of promising youngsters we've had garnacho, mainoo, kambwala and diallo. I'm hoping we keep ten hag for next season.
We need atleast 2 cb a no 8 a lb a experienced st like lewa or benzama a rw if greenwood is going leave and a dm a backup gk (but having some quality to complete with onana )
But Firstly we need to remove players like trashford sorry but casi maggu sancho lindoloff
4 signings isn't enough but I think we will get a fair bit if cash from the sales of Greenwood, Antony, maguire and sancho. If we spend smart then we can get quality players in for a reasonable price
RCB. -Todibo
LCB. -Jorel Hato
CDM. -Adre trindade
CM. -Mats wiefer
LW. - Nico Williams
RW. -Olisse
ST. -zirkzee
As long as bruno and rashford play for us, we will struggle in build in final and middle third.
United going to need like 7/8 new players still .but its going to be nearly impossible to bring them all in one transfer window...
They going to need another Left back - Kerkez, Theo Hernandez, or Alfie Doughty
Another left center back as backup for Martinez and for rotation
2 new right center backs (Maguire and Varane replacements)
A CDM (Casemiro replacement)
A fresh left wing (Garnacho backup and for rotation).United should cash in on Rashford.
Backup striker with HĂžjlund
Completely agree. We are so lightweight across our team. Iâm not sure ETH recognises this though? Just belligerently trying play his way. Needs to adapt.
First thing to change GK. Onana really not consistent and cost us so many points this season especially Champions League games.
For Defenders atleast 3-4 players, we need to consider Varane, Evans leaving and selling Maguire, Malacia and even Bissaka. New left back, right back and 2 centre backs.
For centre mid, Casemiro, Eriksen will also be leaving and left us only Mainoo and McTominay. Atleast 2 new centre mid - defensive and creative one
For Right Wings we will let go so many this season including Sancho, Antony, Pellistri or even Amad. Atleast 2 wingers
For Striker, i guess experience backup will be a good addition.
10 new players in total đ
Afraid will become another Chelsea with so many new players
I'm impressed everytime I see JoĂŁo Neves play, what United really need
I think 4 signings could get us closer but we need to have more depth because if we want to compete at all fronts i think its 7 signings for me
Four incoming is the bare minimum to even survive next season. Six is needed and eight would be great. But United will never be able to pull off more than five. Needed: 2CB, 1LB, 2CDM, 1CF.
LB: Patrick Dorgu/NicolĂĄs Tagliafico (6M).
CB: Todibo+Anselmino (27M).
CDM: Rabiot/Samuele Ricci (0, 15M).
CF: Schick, Dovbyk, Sesko (20-35M).
Total: 80M.
Sell: McTom (25M), Sancho: (25M + Addons), Greenwood (25M + Addons). Total: 75M.
Net spend: 5M.
Four quality signings and some promotions from the academy. We won't win the league again, but it should be enough to compete and challenge for 4th, which is the best we can hope for at the moment.
I believe AWB can be developed into a CDM and we can go for an RB. AWB has awesome ball control and no questions on his defending.
Bro what, he canât pass, he rushes and not press resistance. At least say CB even that I will move him on
I think we need 5 or 6 this season 2CB 1 left back not sure about malacia yet . 2midfielder and a striker
4 big signings with other signings coming in on a more cheap/free deals can be doable if we also sell well. There's alot of top free bargains we could sign to boost our squad depth
Ins:
Sesko
Onana
Kerkez
Adarabioyo
Barkley
Olise
Todibo

Goalkeepers: Onana,Bayindir, Vitek
Defenders: Martinez, Todibo, Kambwala, Adarabioyo, Evans, Dalot, Wan Bissaka, Shaw, Malacia, Kerkez
Midfielders: Mainoo, Mount, Onana, Barkley, Bruno, Gore, Ndidi
Forwards: Garnacho, Hojlund, Rashford, Amad, Olise, Sesko, Welbeck, Antony
The likes of Lacey, Kingdon, Amass, Jack Fletcher, Ibragimov, Wheatley, Oyedele, Mantato, Ogunneye etc should all come through next season give them oppertunities
6. ST, RW, CM, CB, LB. Toney, Olise, Onana, Branthwaite, Someone good.
đđżđđżđđż actually the first person to say how much we need athletes, as well as technically quality players.
4 signings is wonderful when you're trying to keep a solid squad fresh.
We don't have that though, we need 7 signings and could do with more.
We need a LB, 2 CB, 2CDM, an 8 and a striker.
And this means we need to sign cheaper players, because let's say we can spend 300 million after player sales. That would mean only 43 million per player on average if we want to fix the squad up properly.
nope im at like 9 haha
keep : Buy :
Onana/ bayindir /Heaton
Martinez / Kambwala // Evans or Linds A.Silva / Branthwaite
Sahw / Dalot Dorgu / Frimpong
Mainoo / Mount / Bruno J.Neves / Hjulmand / Y.Fofana
Rash / Gnacho / Amad / Anotony / Lacey N.Williams
Hojlund / Whealey Sesko
4 is not enough, l think 6 will be decent and have a few signings of people who have played in the epl because they are likely to take less time to adjust
Personally, I'd like to see Licha become our CDM and make him our captain!
Add to that Joao Neves, Branthwaite and Welbeck on a free transfer for one season (the following season bring in Evan Ferguson).
If we could also get Todibo and Thuram from Nice, happy days!
But the rest of the squad needs to start getting filled by academy players.
Lads like Maxi Oyedele, Toby Collyer, Dan Gore, Harry Amass and I'm sure even Alvaro
Fernandez, Hannibal and Pellistri could still return to the squad and do bits.
Big one for me as well is to grow some bollocks and return Greenwood!!
Besides those 4 signings, shift Garnacho to the left, Rashford off to bench or if he wants off to another club (i don't care), and make a new leftwing signing, Olise or Neto would be good....that makes 5, we'll be alright
I will be happy IF,
Casemiro, Rashford, Sancho, Antony, Eriksen, McTominay, Maguire, Varane, Victor L. , Aaron Wan Bissaka + some academy lads. All of them should be sold and sign 8 players and promote some academy lads as well.
Mason Greenwood depends on what the board will decide but i would love to keep him even if it will cost the club a fortune but he won't cost us points.
Hot take
I would keep Casemiro for one more season and get another starting cdm. A well rested Casemiro is not a bad back up option.
There's no world were we get 2 new cdm this window and we do not have any other one apart from Case.
CB wise, Iâd sign Todibo and leave Branthwaite as too expensive for how much we need to spend overall. Iâd sell Maguire and Lindelof. Keep Evanâs for experience with Martinez, Todibo and Kambwala and maybe Tosun or someone on a free/cheap.
Adebayo from Luton would be a good back up, especially if they get relegated we could get him on the cheap
realistically 4 signings (IF 6): LB CB DM ST (+ CB CM)
Antonio Nusa(Norway)LM LW RM 19y.o.180cm 72kg*************15 Mill
Need at least 5 in, though not sure how possible that is...... Priority must be getting at least 13 of these out of the door over next few windows
Dorgu, Branthwaite, Todibo, Hjulmand, Alex Garcia, Nico Williams and Welbeck. All of those signings would cost a total of about 255-265m British pounds. Forget both Hjulmand and Onana because that is completely out of the budget. Iâd say youâd have to choose between which everton player to sign because I doubt they would sell United both Branthwaite and Onana in the same summer. So Iâd personally choose Branthwaite and Hjulmand. The only way I see United getting Onana is if they get another cb instead of Branthwaite. Starting off in goal, thereâs no problems there as of right now. In center back Iâd keep only Lisandro and one of Maguire or Varane. The rest of the center backs can just leave because theyâre just deadwood. Iâd definitely sign 2 cbs preferably Branthwaite and Todibo and Iâd start both of them from day 1. For right back is fine thereâs Dalot and Kambwala. In left back thereâll be Shaw, Dorgu and Malacia which is decent. Moving onto mid field, Mainoo/Alex Garcia and Bruno/Mount is healthy competition in my opinion. United are really gonna have to rely on Hjulmand to carry them and be there best and most consistent player just like how rodri is for city. In attack I think Nico Williams has to come in to strengthen the wings. I personally think united should let go of one of rashford or antony but not both. And for the striker position Iâd strengthen it by bringing in a cheap, experienced, over 6 foot forward in Danny Welbeck on a free to compete with or just be backup to Hojlund. Welbeck is definitely an upgrade from Martial.
We might not get more than 4 players in, as this summer will be about letting go of lots of players rather than bringing more in IMO, but I think we should be looking at the free transfer/loan market to help the squad next season instead of splashing cash on players when the environment on the club is not fully developed into a thriving place yet.
Completely agree at least we need 6 players 2 center backs 2 center midfielders and 1 striker one left back or at least bring back alfaro fernandez from benfica
Idk if ole watkins will be a good signing also if he agrees to move to a team who didnât qualify to any European championship
I want quality more than quantity and Iâm willing to wait some years if that means we get good quality. No more injury prone, 35 year old strikers, no more average guys brought in for the bench

Need to sign two CM , one CDM and one hybrid that can play as no 8 or 6.
Facts cause if Case leaves and we bring 1 Cdm weâll still have only 1
@@Moonmaestro11 Pep only have Rodri as well
@@tynn443 weâre a million years away from City right now. They brought in Kalvin Phillips as cover even tho they never used him.
What is the onana rave all about? , he is clumsy, gets early yellow cards which puts him under pressure for the whole duration of the game
I think 5/6 is more whatâs needed, and I think itâs possible if 8/10 players leave, especially big earners like Varane & Casemiro.
Everything's moving at a snail's pace.
The hierarchy should have been settled and in place to embark on the new recruitments and prepare for the 2024/25 season. We don't want to be caught in an inadequate situation. Go SIR JIM GO!
who will be the manager for next season ..
COOL VIDEO UNITED GUYS†0:09
Man United needs lots of legs in the middle of the pitch and fast pause center backs
If I was in charge, most anyone is up for transfer as well. The only untouchable for now would be Bruno, Mainoo, Hojlund, Martinez.....that's about all
I watched Braithwaite closely last night in Evertonâs 6-0 hammering by Chelsea and was far from impressed. Seen him in part before and he hasnât necessarily stood out by any means! But weâll probably do our utmost to sign him for ÂŁ70/80m no doubt!
How much would Solanke go for. For me he is a better option than Ivan Toney he is younger with great potential and we can keep switching him with Rasmus
Honestly? 8 is the sweet spot. RB2, RCB1, LCB2, LB2, CM1 (number 6), CM3 (Number 8), RW1, FWD2. They can keep it down to 4 signings but it would take some steps they haven't been open to in the past year to do so.
Maybe if United keep AWB and he stays healthy then 7 and if United bring back Jadon Sancho on the RW then 6 and if they bring back Mason Greenwood as a back up striker up front that's 5 and if they have Martinez, a new RCB, Willy Kambwala , Maguire and Lindelof and bring back Evans then they might be able to get it down to 4.
2 CB, 1 Def Mid field (sell Casemiro), 1 left wing (sell RashFord). Striker is optional (use Mount or McTominay)
Look at the lack of goals thats united's biggest problem.
Personally I think Alvaro Fernandez would do a great job at LB alongside Shaw & Malacia. He should've stayed this season.
Definitely need 2 CDMs, 1 ST, get Greenwood back for RW alongside Amad. I'd bench Antony.
Definitely 2 CBs. One more RB.
Key thing for our signings should be mentality, passion and hunger to win & Definitely talent.
Yes 4 signing would be enough if we have the right manager who will know what type of player he needs.
They're signing more than 4. Casemiro, Varane, etc are gone this summer. They'll sign at least 7 players with the right profiles attached.
Donât think so, Iâm not convinced at all by ineos
Especially after the fact the Southgate story is being shoved down our throats and they have done nothing to dispel that rumour yet. It makes me worryâŠ
@VirkStar321 there are stories every season that are shoved down our throats. Who cares!?
If ETH stays then it's support the club, manager and players until something changes. If ETH goes and it's Southgate then it's still support the club, manager and players until something changes.
Sir Jim has said a few times that "I'd rather walk to the right solution than run to the incorrect one." It's a project. It'll take 4 windows. But I think this window will be a larger one than the rest with the "full reset" in mind.
We need two quick strong and clever centre backs, two quality midfielders and a striker..we need to sell Rashford, Sancho, Maguire, Lindelof, Casimero, Van de Beek, Williams and Alvaro Fernandez..we should keep Greenwood if possible, if not cash in as well.
I would sign arda guler if he's leaving madrid and play him as RW and garnacho LW
Is it enoughâŠno.
Is it a good start especially if we have a competent hierarchy in place..yes
No manager would have done well with these players and the lack of depth and quality of this squad. But it has to be a minimum 5-6 players even quality free transfer to bulk up
I think a LB/CB/CDM/RW and maybe a cheap backup ST i think hojlund is good he needs better service
We need 2 CB and 1 left back , 1CDM who is good very good to play from the back left attacking winger and maybe a striker
Signing 2 cbs could nullify the need for a left back as Martinez could cover for Luke Shaw at left back đ€·
Great work Sam, now let's talk turkey.. Onana from Everton has been on my list for sometime, so gr8. You got Marcus @ 6 mate, based on ability I hope! He is our worst player by some margin & that's not because of not scoring, but more imp. his lack of contribution to the game & the negative demeanor he displays on the pitch. I really think he needs to go, it's a win -win he will find his mojo again & we'll get someone who wants to be here. Love your work mate
