i have been having issues with my firebomb not popping XD, he changes his mind halfway through and doesnt throw it down, its gotten me killed 3 out of 3 times it didnt happen.

Them ‘fixing’ the spider bot was it for me. That thing was so fucking annoying and now you can’t even shoot it off. The spider bot and the phantom shield can fuck right off lol.
i noticed and i didnt even read the patch notes, i emptied a whole mag into my feet hip fired, and not a thing. They also made the camo grind much worse, they could have kept the copper, silver, gold at their normal level of 50-100, and then with the three new ones could be every hundred levels.
I thought it was a glitch but guess not 🫤

You can at least emp the shield. To my knowledge there’s no real counter to the spider bot making it the most obnoxious equipment in the game right now
@@bc454irocz89 my issue with the shield is how fast it deploys. I hate getting in a gun fight and the guy just pops his shield right when hes about to die. It’s a cheap way to compensate for poor aim. If it deployed slower i wouldn’t mind it at all.

I find there are games where I’m amazing and my shots are hitting, then I have games where my bullets go through people, or I die before I can get a shot off even though me and the opponent saw eachother at the same time

I have exactly the same thing man, ever since the update came out. And before that it was never a problem, for me going to the graphic settings and lowering the your hz to 120, my monitor is 150hz but changing it to 120 fixed it for now, hopefully I can change it back soon

I get that bug a lot here is the fix. Turn on your fps counter if your getting low fps in the menu then it means you have it and restart your pc

I did feel bad for the players that I spammed with because I wanted to unlock the deadsec skins, but other then that I don't use him UNLESS I want to hack enemy abilities... I'm getting bugs where I sit there spamming my ability and it doesnt activate and also the grenade glitch where it cancels my grenade mid throw but still takes it from my inventory is super annoying
same thing, and im not so sure if its a bug or directly just the animation cancelling system that is broken, sometimes you cant throw anything mid air and sometimes you do, etc.

Tbh, the spiderbot is essentially a crutch ability, after this buff it makes it a guaranteed kill every 60secs. That's CoD levels of protecting a player, but being even more honest? It doesn't bother me as much, although, I think the EMP should switch from being a grenade to an AOE ability or something close to it, so when you throw it down (even in a zone) the spiderbot is ineffective. You can even give it a long cooldown like the spiderbot to balance it. Imo, there should be counters to every ability.
I wish the other abilities would get a boost too. As a healer I shouldn't have to wait 40 secs to heal again after a gun fight when engagements are so quick.
If I run into a cleaner and get shot, my ability is locked until the fire goes away which puts me at a HUGE disadvantage. I would hope at least winning said gunfight would shorten my timer and I'm a happy clam, I get farmed a lot, but as long as inconsistent gunfights get fixed at some point, I'm mostly good 😊

Needing a healer is a crutch too, I could argue all the abilities are crutches. Simple answer is if it needs to change to make someone like it, there are other games. I admit I'm not that good at the game, but I enjoy it as is. I'm not here to be the best at it, I play too relax after a long stressful day at work.

That’s why hero shooters doesn’t get a lot of attention the core mechanics is good movement is really fun and flows well with the style of gameplay but gosh these abilities are absolutely wack spider bot, libertad ultimate and phantoms mag shield plus its boom blaster bubble it’s so annoying they did the cleaners good, echelon good and GSK is good aswell but libertads, phantoms and dedsec are just obnoxious to deal with their abilities are flow disruption literally
I mean every point you made is a great reason to not play. I hopped on the game day one. Gunplay feels great. But who ever balanced the abilities is very bad at shooters/hero shooters. It is so tiring to deal with these abilities. Loosing gunfights because fire passive, or full stack radar. Even the camo change, sure they listened to player feed back, but listen, it never should have been changed. There are a host of things beyond those I listed. The gunplay is fun, that's it. I enjoyed this game in the begining, but quickly found it to be a slog and tiring. I played Overwatch day one. For all its issues that needed to be patched, the game all round felt good and fun. This? Just doesn't like there was no thought about proper balance. At least in overwatch there was wild stuff you could do to counter other players. Not in this game. This game plays like it wasn't supposed to be a hero shooter at its core, but Uni wanted something similar to R6, so this is what we got. Sad really. But oh well, no CoD, no XD. Really wish we could get a good a SHOOTER, but I guess not. Lol

This game has crashed on my Xbox series X so many times I’ve lost count.
Another issue I’ve had after being killed, when I spawn back in I can only move about and slowly run…nothing else. I then have to shut the game down to get back to normal.

They gotta straight up remove the Spiderbot full stop, maybe replace it with a selectable passive that lets you spot all active gadgets and active Intel Suits. Think Engineer perk with an added counter to an ability that currently has none.
the spider bot was annoying but not horrible, it was just a few second stun and would cause you to ping on the map when you shot it, but not being able to destroy it now is pure pain but i know who imma main now lmao

Same. They also listen to the community and change things as fast as they can. Things take time. They are adding a button mash or some type of way to get spider bot off you. And everyone’s complaints about prestige, challenges, content, are all being worked on. They’ve done a great job. Something cod fans only wish they could get from their dev team

ur just desperate to complain about something, same for blame truth, I recently picked up mw3 and been having a blast, I was a hater of it though before hand and that's bc of mw 2, vanguard, cold war, etc. and I was trynna make xdefiant work but with terrible net code, backshot simulator, bunny hopping clowns, stupid abilities, etc. this game is a total miss.

Even as someone that uses the spiderbot regular - I feel it has been buffed too much. I don't mind the extra delay so much - I think that is fair enough. But there should be a way to get it off.
Even if the guy your spider jumps look down and shoot it off, you still have the upper hand in that engagement. There is no reason for me to have the time to look around and see he has no friends, take out my pistol, and carefully aim for the head for an easy kill. And that is what I am free to do now when they can't do shit about it!
If the looking down and shooting is "a bug", then add some button mash you have to do do pull it off your face. Then its part of the game.

Played this map on the new ctf mode and it was so fun. What mode did your have when your played it? I wish there was a 24/7 clubhouse ctf.
PS5 has some bad frame rate issues, as soon as as I see an enemy and I start shooting or they shoot at me, the frame rate becomes very choppy and slows down. I’ve seen others say that aim assist bugged as well but I myself haven’t noticed
I thought my PS5 might have been busted or overheating at first, stufferfest on focus when targeting and lag spikes, it’s them for sure.

Hey BT I appreciate the brief stream interaction. I haven’t watched yet but yeah the spider bot is a problem for sure now. I also feel like dying way behind walls and inconsistency in gunfights was night and day after the update, in a bad way. Hopefully they smooth this out because I don’t want to lose gunfights and have no idea why I lost them.

I personally believed spiderbot was fine before the “nerf” when I discovered for myself that I can shoot at my feet to get it off, I tolerated the skill.
No its the bunny hopping and the one shot sniper body/foot/arm shots. We need rabbit skins for the bunny hoppers so they can look like they act...
They can't get a kill without jumping. It's pathetic. I stopped playing because of that and the spider bots and now of course the riot shields. They broke a fun game.

I feel like this was the problem with the whole community getting up in arms about the relatively non-issues of weapon levelling. It forced the team into a rushed update instead of focusing on season 1 and gameplay issues
They made a change originally that wasn’t needed. Then they fixed it. Any resources that they used for weapons levelling is entirely their fault. The resources they did use for the levelling patch should not have affected anything else. This is Ubisoft, not an indie developer

They have to buff the M4 MDR and LVOA man, 17 damage versus phantoms is just awful to fight, 8 shots to kill versus 6 on normal players, I literally just switch off to something else soon as there’s more than 1-2 phantoms on the enemy team, please god please blametruth talk to a dev about this too.
It's weak against the Phantoms, but the new gun just blows the 1st two out of the water.. Still, it's not enough. All 3 could be better still..

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this but when I try to throw a sticky grenade or the fire drone, the animation and audio is there as if it took action but but either the grenade or the drone do not launch or they do launch but do not explode. They just end up back in your slots as if you never used them. Not sure if it’s faction (as I do primarily use cleaners) isolated or equipment isolated. Anyone else experiencing this?
1. seasonpass is pretty weak for 90 days. 4 weapon skins to mention and only 1 legy WP skin overall...preseason had more for the time it ran
2. The casual grind is pretty lame, it's all about leveling, there are no quests to get a skin/animation/player card so there's no reason to level up weapons you don't like or anything to do anything other than normal gaming
3.Many bugs/server issues/netcode issues are worse than previous season. They delayed the game by a year and it's still a very big problem that will unfortunately break the game's neck over time
4. Overall the skins in this game are not that good. Green skins look like the 3 cent skins from CSGO 99% of the time, but the bad ones...like games like TheFinals, the little shit game still has so much better skins! !! Nowadays it's so ez with AI and everything you need to make good skins. Give blue and green skins some kind of artwork, and the season pass and skins as a whole could be good and usable and not just garbage (Monstrosity is a good example of how green skins should all be).
5. Meta changes are a meme. ATM weapons haven't been touched other than the sniper flinch, and the other ability changes don't look particularly promising either
6. Finish on a good note, so I'd say ranked play is looking good so far

reminds me of splitgate, only this one will not die that quick cuz people craved a cod experience for years (and that one it had like 3 developers and gameplay felt smoother tbh). i dont wanna think that the battlepass will be the replace for camo challenges in cod but it seems to. like you get 3 decent skins per battlepass and the good ones will always be on the store. mark rubin is a the fucking smoke man, making all the ball lickers happy by just tweeting "we will work on it"

Seriously though, wtf did mag barrier do? It’s probably the most balanced ability in the game right now. It’s useful but easily countered, especially with teamwork. Not only are phantoms getting ignored in the cosmetic department but they’re getting an unwarranted nerf too? Someone at Ubisoft really hates them smh.
Along with a couple of other bugs I've noticed,
- Spider Bot kills and shock assists challenge doesn't seem to be properly tracking. I played a match of Escort where I know I got more than 5 shock assists with Spider Bot kills in the mix and out of all of those it only counted 3 of them for my progression.
- Personal Stats are just frozen and not tracking at all.
- not sure if this is a bug or just my luck lol but, I loaded into A LOT more matches that have already started. I only say this because out of the 10 matches I played yesterday, 8 of them I joined in late and its normally not that consistent.
- This one is probably just a complaint here but, the ADS Sniper Flinch "fix" still isn't noticeable lol
And yeah as for the framerate problem, its pretty bad. It reminds me of the framerate issues we had on COD Ghosts when it was brought to the PS4. The only difference is that here on XD, its much more frequent

what settings are you using for controller?
with the roomba of zappy death that i loved to call it. there were multiple ways to counter it that you simply dont have in XD.
in bo4 you could
Run cold blooded to be completely invisible to it
shoot it before it engages
tac mask reduces the stun time and allows better ability to move your aim around as well as ADS if i remember right.
Press the prompt as it engages to catch the prob before it connects
steal it and make it yours(char specific)
in XD you got

Let's b real, most teammates will watch it on your face and wait for the dedsec enemy to come around focused on you and they will go for the free kill instead of helping u... It reminds me of war zone when a teammate will see you down next to an enemy that you down they will wait on the enemy to self revive so that they can get a free kill before they revive you... How many times have you died without abilities going on and there were teammates nearby right next to an enemy and they weren't even shooting their gun

I heard that they said even though the spiderbot shooting was a bug they intend to bring back the bug to the game. That's what I read earlier today. After the server update this morning my game wouldn't start until I verified the game files in Ubisoft connect and restarted my computer. I encountered the bug where my Intel suit wouldn't deploy tonight after using it once. I had to change factions before my special ability would work again. However, I encountered that same bug one time before season 1. The two matches I've played since the server update this morning have felt like hit registration was better but I'll have to play a lot more to be sure. Definitely still doesn't feel perfect though. Mark Rubin said he wants to talk to people who are having bad netcode issues so that's good. I don't think I've had as many issues as some people. Overall I'm liking what they've put out for season 1 but there's still a good bit to be ironed out.
I’ve been plying the new season since yesterday I will say there are some bugs I noticed:
1. Spider bot can be shot if you shoot at the ground. (Confirmed from Mark that it was intended to be like this)
2. Occasionally throwing grenades will just disappear
3. You can’t camo when crouched as echelon
4. Some friends are saying PS has frame issues.
Regardless of that I’ve still enjoying the game and camo grinding. New map is a nice change of pace and the foundation of the game is still there. I see in the Reddit that people are saying, “game is dead” but I think this game will still keep going and unlike COD the devs actually take accountability and communicate.

there's currently a bug that you can't melee the spiderbot off your face which was the intended behavior, but in the meantime we will have the bug until they have the melee fixed I believe is what it was going to be.

Footsteps are out of scale I think they buff them even further? and on the other side of footsteps the one I hear my character make cause a fatigue on a session longer than hour in headphones , and the game require headphones due to footsteps out of scale if I don't use headphones I'm getting fucked. All of that make me end with conclusion I'm getting a break from this game a lot of issues that are open goals wasn't touched it's just bad .
audio seems to register footsteps only horizontally, so if someone is on the upper floor of the new map you feel them basically next to u. flash grenades are now MORE desorienting imo. you literally get flashed after death and cant see your loadouts for a while.
the animation team or something feels amateur, sometimes you get cancelled your grenades by just moving, sometimes your ability comes out after you died. climbing a ladder feels worse than idk any cod from the ps2, and i feel the decent mobility the game has was likely a mistake.
nerfs are the laziest shit ever. just add a few seconds to the most used skills wont make people use it less, thats fucking stupid.

I wished the shield (not the mag barrier) the riot shield,I wish it had better tracking because sometimes I'll get an insane feed or I'll hit one person,and the next 2 or 3 hits don't track even if I'm literally within the small lunge range. The mag barrier being nerfed was a W
But rip if you try to use the riot shield (small maps make it easier but still, the detection is abit off)
it should have those 20 plus hp, but take longer to heal probably, that way you nerf them and buff libertad for ranked
That locked firing after death is for all weapons I have used. To use abilities, I often have to spam the required button.
Spiderbot Tips & Tricks! Ghillie Suit camo makes you immune to it. Playing as Dedsec Hacker ability helps a lot. Also, turn your audio up. Spiderbot is super loud, and you can hear it coming. Emp grenades with Dedsec faction you can get back every 15 seconds or so. Yes, Spiderbots are annoying, lol.
The battlepass is so trash only 4 good skins

5:30 The roomba from Black Ops 4 is called the Seeker Mine. Also, fun fact. If you are playing as an Echelon class and if you use the ghillie suit ability. The spider bot won't get you. You can just easily walk past it while your ghillie suit is on. Trust me, I used Echelon a lot and I know. It's another way to counter the spider bot.

@@ronskeez916Naw bro. Here is an example why. With an automatic weapon, you can move and jump while shooting. This means multi kills while strafing. You can’t multi kill and strafe with a sniper. You could see 3 people and have 5 seconds to make each shot count against jumping fast moving smgs and hard hitting legs meanwhile if those 3 people see you, you get 5 seconds to take on 100 bullets 😂

I had 6 crashes on pc in 2 hours of play yesterday so I just stopped playing and I saw on their official discord server that a lot of people also had crashes on console and pc but some devs said that they are working on it to fix it but I hope they'll do it as fast as possible.
The spawning in and shooting was SO annoying man I had no idea why it was happening. Hope they fix some of these little issues sooner than later.
I dont know if anyone else has experienced, what i could only describe as a bug with the spider bot, its when your movement get locked down and your unable to do anything but the bot is not on your screen for a good 3 seconds, hope they bring back the ability to shoot the bot off
@BlameTruth Can you tell the devs to fix the Echelon intel suit, it’s bugged. I can only use it one time, then it locks on ps5.

Latency is worse than ever. My ping sit around 35, anyone lower then that really has a MASSIVE advantage. I’ve gotta break people screens to get the kill. The ttk is also affected because the bullet reg is screwed by bad latency
I got some Delta 24 error on Clubhouse map and then it went back to game menu.
But Ive had that same error on another map too later.
Ive only noticed framerate drop on the Liberty map so far,on PS5.
It’s funny cause when I say hero shooters suck I get made fun of, but when the community complains about every hero ability in the game it’s different…
Wish list:
Lower ttk(I’m forced to reload after any gunfight over 15 meters or miss any shots)
Faster auto healing or stem equipment(if I happen to be able to reload before the next gun fight, its a guaranteed loss cuz I have to hit the other guy 7-9 times while he gets a 1-2 shot kill)
Net code obviously: even if I think I’m hitting that next guy first, if he’s on waffle house WiFi, he still wins that fight.
Spider bot needs to be one shot ( it’s basically a walking mine that has no delay in its affect when activated, that takes more shots to kill than a mine, that recharges in the same life.) ((maybe let me throw my emp while I’m stunned to be a slightly better counter))
Bunny hopping penalty needs to be on second jump (even though the ttk is so slow, it’s not that slow where any one has ever needed to jump that many times to get the kill) ((or do it like other games where your ads is off set when you initiate the jump and stabilizes while in the air but when you land it off sets again. This is how bf4 kinda did it. You could still hit your target decently if you learned where the gun would shoot off the center while jumping.)
4v4 for casual (I like the slightly slower and less chaotic game play sometimes to either warm up or when devs seem to have a hard time making maps feel good for so many players. I dont know why 6v6 is treated like such an unchangeable staple of fps games. I shouldn’t be forced to play ranked mode just to have a player count that better suits some Of the maps.
HARDCORE(this would fix a lot of the issues listed above for me. I wouldn’t be a guaranteed loss just cuz there was a second guy around the corner or both enemies ran around at the same time. If I have the better positioning or reflexes, I should have a better chance at winning the gun fight.
Lethal class abilities need to have longer cooldowns than ones that still require me to get the kill IE: spider bot, flame drone thing. (I get abilities like seeing through walls or tanking damage with a shield are super strong but I can exit a fun fight with some one that just through down a shield or have better movement and positioning against some one when I get the notification that I’ve been scanned. But if the spider bot or fire drone even look at you, you’re dead and they are fire-and-forget abilities.)
Phantoms should only have 100 health as well(if their abilities are all about tanking more damage, they don’t need a passive that serves the same function. It creates inconsistencies in the ttk punishing you for learning how many shots to kill it’ll be before you can stop shooting and move to the next target, which as explained above, is crucial since the ttk is so high, if I shoot exactly the amount of times I know it would take to kill an enemy and I know I hear another guy amount to come up from the other side, it’s very discouraging when I start rotating to prepare to shoot the second guy and I notice the first guy is still shooting back. I would even be ok with them getting 120 maybe while the shield was active and maybe 5 seconds after the shield dies they still have 120. But 120 as a permanent passive is a bit much.
Stop kicking me out of my load out screen when “creating match”. What ever the fuck that means.

ranked should absolutely allow input based settings to take affect. Completely defeats the purpose of playing ranked when you’re going up against different inputs. since different inputs have different advantages to different gun fight situations. If anything, since casual is where you go to find a match as quick as possible without worry about the competition being tooth and nail fair, this is where input based matchmaking should take a seat.
Only thing witch i found strange why not begin a new season with double xp?

Speaking of spider bots, there’s a glitch I ran it to pretty much all last night. if you go to shoot the spider bot while it’s coming for you, it disappears, then out of nowhere it’s on your face. Extremely frustrating.
Does anyone have an issue with their gun shooting without even touching the trigger? I swear atleast on controller it happens to me atleast twice a life wheee my gun shoots one bullet and im not even touching the trigger
Not only dose Biovida and some Echelon Abilities have this issue, so did Hijack for Dedsec. The second I was locked out of using it I switched to a different faction or spider bot for the rest of it.
Been dealing with crashes approximately every other game since launch day. Tried a million things, made a bug report, contacted support on Discord, tried every solution I've been told about. Unfortunately just going back to playing MW3 after experiencing 1 or 2 crashes in Xdefiant everyday.

I love XD, but the hit detection problem seems to have gotten worse. I had to get off yesterday because i was using an Echelon Ultra and I'm shooting an enemy POINT BLANK. No registration whatsover. And Biovida was locked for me on Libertad for an entire match. Jeez guys. Im on PS5 btw.
BTW The Fire Input is locked onto the next spawn with EVERY SEMIAUTO WEAPON - Shotguns, DMRs, Pistols even... Haven't tested SRs yet... And as for the spiderbot: You still can shoot it off your teammates if they get jumped! Hope's not lost yet!
some of these glitches are from season 0 like the bio vida glitch used to happen to me occasionally usually 1/10 games using it. The spider bot i've never been able to shoot off myself from release. So seeing others do it was frustrating for me trynna ask my teammates to shoot it off my head which worked 2 times hella satisfying when it happens.
I mentioned it in the stream, chat yesterday but I've already had issues before the patch getting the bot off me. The looking down and shooting thing wouldn't work half the time for me or it'd take like half a mag or more and by then I'd be dead most times anyway. That thing is my biggest peeve because it's basically a guaranteed kill if you catch someone with it and I've never been able to shoot it on the ground. The shots just don't register for me when I try and then I just die like an idiot shooting at the ground. One time though I actually did kill the guy who spider botted me while it was on my face by randomly hipfire spraying my gun and that was hilarious.
