I feel like the twins are gonna be more divide than ever this season.
S4 is serving, with the trio going dark. Dark Hosie and Lizzie going rogue in one episode?! After all, like Hope said, Lizzie also has a dark side and are we going to explore hers too this season? I feel like that's the path Legacies taking with her as well, not just humanity!off Hope and Dark Josie popping up.
This is just too fantastic to put into words, and how they all basically trigger each others dark side at this point, like, I can't-
Her dark side is the fact that she’s willing to kill Hope
What if, Lizzie tries to kill Hope but Josie takes the hit and is dying but Hope *turns* her

It’s definitely Aurora. I’ve been obsessing over her voice since 4x05. It’s just the subtle way Rebecca Breeds enunciates certain words. Her Australian accent sneaks out at times.

I feel like they're getting this all wrong they're trying to use their friendship and Landon to get her back, but killing him wasn't the big issue, it was just the last drop. The biggest pain, what hurts the most has to do with her family, they either need to talk about the future, so she can let go of the past or they need to poke deep on her wounds and bring up her parents and uncle
I'd love for Hope to take a visit home to New Orleans !

, but we can't deny hope has a soft spot for Josie she could have violence like with every one else ,but she locked her into the therapy box which instead harmless.
The speech Josie was giving to Lizzie as a vampire made me think about Stefan's speech to Damon when trying to convince him to turn into a vamp. Similar vibes

And maybe they are foreshadowing Josie being hurt during the epic showdown while protecting Hope and then being sired by Hope like how Katherine sired Stefan…? 👀
But Lizzie's story is kinda symbolic and beautiful. The two versions of Alaric are based off of his past and present self. The one who's Lizzie's dad is his current self, but the one with the eye represents the vampire hunter he used to be in the early TVD days. The simulation is about Lizzie discovering his past self (which he kept from her) and to actually go down a similar path. We already knew Lizzie was the daughter to take after Caroline and Josie the one to take after Jo, but this simulation also proved Lizzie is the one who takes after her dad the most. The fact she did various things on her own without Jo as the headmaster's daughter as of S3 (like the fundraiser with the leprechaun) and the fact Kaleb is kind of set up to be the Damon of the school with the whole drinking-thing he had with Alaric, keeping the secrets (as well as him playing Damon in the musical) and those small scenes Kaleb and Lizzie share since S3 makes me feel like they're foreshadowing Lizzie and Kaleb are going to be like Damon and Alaric and that perhaps they will be the ones in charge of the Salvatore school some day.

Definitely my favorite episode by far! I'm absolutely obsessed with the Dark Hosie scene and Lizzie potentially become a Heretic
First of all, Dark Hosie had me on the edge of my seat! The tension and chemistry between them was so high! Second of all, Josie did amazing! She proved not only to herself but to Hope that she IS reachable and that she’s scared to be brought back. The fact that Hope did everything she could to avoid hurting Josie and just put her in the therapy box instead of attacking her like she did with Alaric, Ethan and Finch let’s me know she could NEVER hurt Josie. I feel like that last scene between Josie and Lizzie foreshadowed what’s going to be the big showdown between the twins. Lizzie is fully going after Hope now, even if it means killing her and Josie is fully trying to bring Hope back and won’t let her be hurt or killed. She will have to fight off Lizzie to protect Hope once Lizzie finds out about the tree. I can’t wait! Hosie endgame is coming!
Also one thing I'm down about when it comes to Aurora, is the fact that it does fullfill what was said about her inheriting a shit ton of enemies from Klaus. Just imagine if several of them got in league with Triad...
At the end she was part of the TRInity/TRIad...

I theorize Lizzie will become a heretic to assist her in hunting down Hope. Especially at the end when Lizzie said she was going to be too far gone when she leaves the box.
I lowkey need vampire hunter Lizzie, it would be interesting to see how all of that affects her relationship with MG and then there's Caroline who is also a vampire. Maybe vampire hunter Lizzie becoming a heretic later on and having to deal with the stuff that she's done.
This episode definitely had me laughing at finch trying to take down Hope I mean like did she really think she stood a chance

And this is Lizzie realizing she can be like he was in his old days. I feel like the fact she resembles both Alaric and Caroline and that she has been the one stepping up the most as the headmaster's daughter since S3, is foreshadowing that she's gonna go down a similar path as Alaric in the TVD days, might end up a heretic and thus becoming a vampire like her mom, and someday she'll realize the same things they did and come back to the Salvatore School to be its new Headmistress.
I don't think the writer's mind killing Hope since they have a habit of killing the main characters who deserve the world.

18:11 Yeah, I didn't like the contest part of the episode. Overall it felt more all over the place than the last couple episodes. They were doing so well, but I just didn't feel it this episode. Like you said Adam, they should've tried getting at some real emotions in a serious way.
39:40 The whole dream box is Lizzie's subconscious which makes sense because she thinks she'll have to go through her sister to get to Hope. In the last episode we saw that Lizzie feels she's at odds with Josie about Hope. It could be foreshadowing.
What happened with the letter Hailey wrote Hope when she was pregnant? They were talking about Caroline and her letter not sure what happened to the one Hailey wrote.

Hope then realizes what she’s done bc she would have killed Lizzie and taken her possibility of kids and other things that Lizzie has mentioned she wanted in the future from her and can’t get back, which turns Hope’s humanity back on

Freya cast Aurora sleeping spell but it broke when Freya died in season 4 ep 7 by Dominic. But Keelin brought her back to life.
I get that Hope is emotionally messed up after she had to kill Landon but there were so MANY situations where she thought Landon was dead and she didn’t turn off her humanity. Like with the artifact they found Cleo in, when Hope threw it in the river and was ready to start letting Landon go. This show was full of situations that ended with Landon being dead or with everyone thinking he’s dead. I get that this time was different with the fact Hope killed him herself with her fully activated tribrid blood, but I wish this wasn’t what triggered Hope to turn her humanity off. I stopped shipping Handon when the storyline kept getting repetitive with them getting separated AGAIN and AGAIN. I also can’t believe the Malivore villain storyline lasted for 3 1/2 seasons. I wish Hope had a different love interest. They could’ve just introduced another character for Hope. Landon get boring after you know the millionth time they got separated.
The Malivore villain was no Klaus Mikaelson. I enjoyed when Klaus was the main villain in TVD. Malivore was more of a passive aggressive villain. He didn’t even fight them directly till he possessed Landon. He just kept letting his little monsters do his dirty work. I will admit I did like the monster fights but that made Malivore look like a coward. Couldn’t fight Hope or the Super Squad on his own and just kept sending monster after monster for 3 seasons. Clarke was a better villain than Malivore. Which is funny considering Clarke worked for Malivore for a long time. I didn’t see the chemistry between Hope and Clarke till around season 3. I would’ve been happy to see them together and what it would bring. I wouldn’t mind Landon still being alive as long as him and Hope didn’t keep being together when they knew they were doomed from the start.
Dark Josie is far, far too hot. I have to say it because watching her strut in there with her hands on her hips in that outfit reminded me of why she's entirely to good for the mutt, AKA Finch.
I know it's like I'm bashing Finch but I almost fell off my chair laughing at the gold fish expressions on her and Ethan's faces when MG super speeded Cleo and Josie away and left them behind. The show isn't even subtle about how much of a after thought they are! The look on Josie's face when Finch started to tell her about her "plan" to deal with Hope pretty much said how ridiculous she thought that was! I think that the reason that they brought Finch into the show was because they needed someone besides MG to be the idiot of the group.
Sincerely, she is not even in the Squad! I’m trying so hard to understand why they brought finch in. Pointless

Lizzie’s time in the therapy box showed her the she could kill hope so maybe Josie’s time in there will show her how to get Hopes humanity back. I feel like it only really makes sense for Josie to be the one to bring hope back. It would also be crazy if the season ends with hope turning Josie into a heretic in order to really get the super squad to understand that she’s to far gone. OR if she kills Lizzie and mg had to turn her in order to keep her alive and that pushes the super squad including Josie to lose hope… in hope LMAO
