Mine came with an 11 pound plus trigger pull it maxed out my Timney trigger pull gauge I shot 200 rounds that way no malfunctions. Next range trip I tried a Prodigy mag and started having issues only with that mag the stock Checkmate mags run no problem. I installed a new sear spring and after a slight adjustment it now has a nice 4 pound trigger pull. I have shot over 600 rounds so far with no problems yet and the included cheap optic has held zero so far. i was pretty unhappy with the gun until I fixed the trigger. So as long as you get a good one you are ok other wise you get to deal with EAA's non-existent customer service that I did contact about the trigger and that it would not chamber a laser cartridge for use with Mantis Laser Academy. I was told they don't list a trigger pull weight and after market parts are not guaranteed to fit so deal with it or send it in through an FFL which is BS.
Girsan witness 2311 is TRASH!! I’ve only shot 3 rounds out of this weapon system. It fails to do what it’s made to do. I had failure to feeds, failure to extract. So It took it back to the gun shot I bought it from. They looked at it and had the same issues. They had to sent it back to EAA/Girsan. Girsan wouldn’t send me a shipping label. They’ll said only FFL can send it back. The Witness 2311 isn’t even on their website anymore. It’s on EAA website but not Girsan website. I’m ready to gerbil back so I can sale it immediately and get something that actually works. My advice is to save a little longer for something more reliable and function properly. Dob NOT buy EAA/Girsan.
I felt the same way for the first 2 weeks I had mine but after fixing the trigger and having no malfunctions so far I actually like it now.
