Dude 3 main things that anyone interested in this product wants to see that you glanced right over. 1) the difference in sound reduction between the lightweight and regular 2) actual weight difference between them 3) sound and recoil difference with the exterior shroud on and off

I absolutely love my 300 Blackout X95 as well. My best purchase yet. Tavor 7 is in route to me next. We’ll see if it dethrones the X95.

I just bought it new for $250

Mine came with an 11 pound plus trigger pull it maxed out my Timney trigger pull gauge I shot 200 rounds that way no malfunctions. Next range trip I tried a Prodigy mag and started having issues only with that mag the stock Checkmate mags run no problem. I installed a new sear spring and after a slight adjustment it now has a nice 4 pound trigger pull. I have shot over 600 rounds so far with no problems yet and the included cheap optic has held zero so far. i was pretty unhappy with the gun until I fixed the trigger. So as long as you get a good one you are ok other wise you get to deal with EAA's non-existent customer service that I did contact about the trigger and that it would not chamber a laser cartridge for use with Mantis Laser Academy. I was told they don't list a trigger pull weight and after market parts are not guaranteed to fit so deal with it or send it in through an FFL which is BS.

I've been eyeing getting one of these as well; thinking it might be a suitable "truck" or "bugout" bag gun. There unfortunately aren't many videos on this specific model. Did you ever end up getting the tax stamp for it? I just ordered my first Suppressor. Decided to go that route first since it's not technically a firearm (though I do understand that ATF regulates it as on); the difference being that it's not tied to any one specific firearm and has less restrictions/paperwork to worry about when crossing state lines with one. Having it be on a "registry" doesn't bother me as much. Anyway, I was thinking this would be a good host gun for the YHM R9 that I purchased. Not that I'm looking to buy one because I need a host for the suppressor; I've already got an S&W FPC and Stribog pistol converted to 16" barrel length carbine that the suppressor will go on first.

Girsan witness 2311 is TRASH!! I’ve only shot 3 rounds out of this weapon system. It fails to do what it’s made to do. I had failure to feeds, failure to extract. So It took it back to the gun shot I bought it from. They looked at it and had the same issues. They had to sent it back to EAA/Girsan. Girsan wouldn’t send me a shipping label. They’ll said only FFL can send it back. The Witness 2311 isn’t even on their website anymore. It’s on EAA website but not Girsan website. I’m ready to gerbil back so I can sale it immediately and get something that actually works. My advice is to save a little longer for something more reliable and function properly. Dob NOT buy EAA/Girsan.

I started to order mine then I saw at Shot show the new grips and now they have a 45 ACP version and Bull barrel. I am waiting till mid-late Feb to order it now.

Wish the OEM mags had a higher capacity. I have the proMag 18 and 25 round mags. They work fine if you only load 10 rounds in them but when you try to take advantage of the 18/25 round capacity of the pro mags you start to notice their shortcomings. They suck. Factory Oem are the only way to go. Rumors afoot that PSA will soon introduce a Dagger Glock 44 clone with high capacity mags. Fingers crossed 🤞.

I have the A5 model. I put picatinny rail and red dot on it. Very, very accurate.

Took delivery of a new online purchase today. Trigger, mag release and ergonomics are $hit. Prolly won’t ever fire it before trading out. Pffft!

As a U.S. Army and U. S. Marine Corps veteran I personally wouldn’t carry anything but a 1911. I have this very weapon and is very accurate and reliable! I am not looking to get into a gun battle with anyone. The smart act is try to stay away from gun play but if it comes down to it I do not need over two magazines (20) rounds which is what I normally carry. I am trained well enough to handle a situation with this if necessary.

Good review. Glad to see some will speak their mind rather than always try to impress. I just got mine yesterday and can verify basically all that you said. I might note I paid a lot more because here in california everything is plenty higher (as well as paperwork fees, wait times, and long drives on the highways), and can vouch that, although this gun looks nice, it's more of a disappointment. Edit: I'll somewhat change my take. I stand by that it's bulky and weighty for a little 22, but otherwise it's alright. I wouldn't buy it if I started over, but I'll keep it now.

Usually, the entire frame being cut from "one chunk of aluminum" is considered a luxury. Working on trying to get the lead times down.

Ordered 4.16.23..... still waiting on mine.... order tracker is apprently NOT accurate because i called to see what was going on (when i ordered, lead time was 10-12 weeks, its closing on 16 now) and apparently my gun hasnt even been painted yet, even though the tracker shows "assembled" and two steps from it being on its way. I've gotten the run around in emails too. Just a heads up for anyone on the fence- this was ordered in time to be a Father's Day gift.... obviously, that has gone out the window. Maybe it will show up in time for next year 🙄
