Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory - a Mike Malott performance
Conceive, believe, achieve?
@@MG-po6jcshut the f up
Not hating my friend just completing thé quote 😂
Quintessentially Canadian
A proper representation of candana
Was truly clutch of Mike to pull that last one out
Donald's performance against against Hernández was probably my favorite finish of all time
Literally kicked his ass.
Most satisfying win for sure
That fight holds a special place in all mma fans’ hearts
That was satisfying as hell
A fine source of belly laughs.
New mythical fighter: Full Camp Magny
let's not push it
mike mallot had to lose so all his wins could still be finishes 🤣🤣
Nah… Mike lost that fight a lot more than magny won it.
nah magny after a loss
@@titzmageexall Mike had to do was pace himself and throw leg kicks
Dude, Wonderboy is no stranger to ending hype trains.
The Geoff Neal fight was one hell of a shutdown
He didn't stop Shavkat.
I’ve been watching UFC since about 2005. I have NEVER seen a fighter dominate, and then completely run out of gas, as bad as Mike Mallot did.
Man I wish you had a bad take so could make fun of your name. But you're speaking facts, Mr. Doodoopoop
Abus Magomedov.
@@Tonysopranoyafinookmy boy, it is not that serious.
lesnar vs carwin
Mcgregor Diaz 1?
I would argue that the Till fight should've been mentioned for Jorge. Even though Till was coming off a loss, that loss was for the title, so people were expecting him to shake it off. And after Jorge beat Till, the infamous 3 piece and a soda happened and Masvidal stole all glory and attention from what was supposed to be Till's bounce back
Good call, that was the beginning of the end for Till.
Damn. Lol I literally just commented the same thing. I was surprised that fight wasn't mentioned. Especially with Jorge taking the #1 spot on the list.
@@user-gp3wy8dm5jit’s because a lot of people who run the channel are British so they don’t wanna mention their boy
I think he loves till lol but yeah he go K/O in his country
calvin kattar derailing giga chikadze’s hype train was insane
Glad to see Roxy make the list, she is who I thought of right away.
I remember watching that one live. That has to be a serious embarrassment to lose to that woman
This is gonna sound like a diss but I love how much she was able to do with so little from a talent perspective. She was almost always physically outmatched and yet she put together a solid career.
@@that1dude735how that a embarrassing she the only one who beat
JENNIFER HOWE
She beat
TARA LAROSA
And lee
@@JoemamaTheHybridshe was very good but she had multiple bone fused together and
Fibrous dysplasia
Yes, The Cringe Warrior😅
I get that Till had just lost to Woodley, but that was the champ and Till still had a ton of hype, especially fighting in the UK. Jorge starching him is worth a mention.
Watching Cowboy knock out Alexander Hernandez was the greatest thing I have ever seen.
(Excluding the birth of my son).
Roxy is one of my favourite female fighters and a true legend of MMA.
Same, she was a good sport and fun to watch.
Idk too nerdy.. fuck that weeb shit
Cerrone also ended the Rick Story hype train too
eh, not really. rick story had a good number of losses prior to the cerrone fight. he was a low-tier gatekeeper
Brenneman ended Story’s real hype way back
@jeffason69 damn that era seems to long ago now...I mean it is but seems like yesterday we were seeing Jew Fro Jesus getting KO'D.
paul craig has to be my #1 favorite fighter
just a straight up good guy
Delusional Jamal Hill was ranting recently about how he "has never even been rocked in a fight" i just thought to myself immediately. "motherfucker, Paul Craig broke your arm and was caving your skull in with huge elbows before the ref saved you 😂". Paul is a bit of a one trick pony but i enjoy watching him fight.
The thing that still blows my mind…BJ Penn stepping in the ring with the Dragon!
Penn was / is out of his mind
When CM Punk ended Conor Mcgregors 10 year undefeated streak 😮
Wrestling is fake nerd
Crazier than when Brock Lesnar RIPPED the belt from Rose Namajunas via 4 second K.O in the first round 🙏🔥
@@nickphauxyeah, but that was Rose’s teams game plan.
God I love the mma community
He came out on Raw last night to announce he's injured and out of WrestleMania. During the promo he said "I lose more than I win! You ever see me fight in the UFC? Pretty ugly right?"
So at least he's got a good attitude about that....If only that lol
All I know is I’ll never doubt Magny again, he’s not the most talented but there’s a reason why he has the most wins ever in the WW division, he just lnows how to win.
Illia topuria vs ryan hall is by far the most satisfying fight I've ever watched.
One of my favorite things in MMA are when hyped up fighters get fraud checked
Will Khamzat be next?
@@GengoSenmonKhamzat definitely isn’t a fraud, but the whole aura he once had before fighting Burns and Usman is completely gone
@@GengoSenmonhe’s on fraudwatch
That is because you are a sad human being who enjoys people downfalls more than when they win.
I’ll never forget when Lyoto tripped Thiago and drop his fist on his face right as the buzzer sounded. Ending the fight. Fucking beautiful
I love Paul Craig and was so hoping he could get on a roll to a title shot, and it felt like the UFC agreed with me by giving him sort of bump recently in the build to his last fight... too bad he lost.
Crazy how megomedov and hill are top 10 now
I love the wide shot of game bread knocking Ben out while people are still getting seated crazy.
Dober deserved a mention imo with his wins over the likes Nasrat and McKinney, but I'm also biased for my boy lol. I may be misremembering the level of Nasrat's hype.
99/100 times that knee misses and askren rag dolls masvidal… we just live in the worst timeline
* best timeline.
Besides Jorge is beating Askren 99/100 times anyways even without the knee.
Askren had terrible striking and no striking defense
I always loved The Happy Warrior.
Daruish definitely deserves a spot
All his hype got squashed his last two fights though
Do one on the drake curse
right like Drake has to be aware that people believe his bets are a curse which makes me look at his most recent bet on Sean Strickland a little more closely 😂
@@Alexanderfranksofficial haha right!?? It's basically a given at this point
Per usual, great list! Haven’t thought about a lot of these fights in a long time, this is a great refresher. Once again, well done!
A top 10 list of fighters with the most rematches against opponents could be a fun one!
That Magny fight was a masterclass in cardio and determination. A lot of these young bucks are coming in to the UFC with a decade of full MMA training that started when then were kids. Still, you can not teach certain aspects of the game that only come with experience.
Mike became the Neil, Magny became the Malott
I appreciate how you pick a specific metric for these videos and stick to it. Love the content. =)
Father time has caught up with dariush but still dangerous. N what a sound guy
Justin ending Fiziev’s hype
For sure
Crazy thing about that fight is both fighters landed tons of strikes, but Justin came out of it with barely any damage, meanwhile Fiseiv face was swelling more and more as the fight went on. Really makes u appreciate the power Justin has behind his strikes.
@@alwaysrecycles365also he had slightly better shot placement
@@alwaysrecycles365because of the uppercuts
@@alwaysrecycles365scares me for max
Lyoto machida was one of the guys to really get me interested in the ufc. He was like a real life Bruce Lee. At least we have wonderboy and mvp now.
Not for long though.. Wonderboy is 40 and MVP is 37
What were the odds that cowboy actually showed up for once against Hernandez
Cowboy was just a step below from being elite, he always does extremely well when there’s no pressure, as soon as the lights are bright he shrivels like a raisin
Jorge didn’t knock him out in 5 seconds, it was like 1 second with 4 seconds of pure shock on the ref’s behalf 😛
Urijah vs Simon brought me back to the WEC days. I was so nervous for that fight, when Faber rocked him, I went crazy. Loved Urijah during his WEC title Reign
Edit: That Combo by cowboy vs Hernandez, might be the best in history
Love the videos💯
Awesome video! Surprised Masvidal vs Till was not mentioned because that was huge especially considering it led to the Askren fight
I’m surprised Frankie didn’t make the list. I guess a few of the guys he beat managed to regain the hype like rodriguez, but his ufc debut was literally stopping a crazy hype train.
I only now starting to realize how important the editing is, if this was a video of just a guy talking, I wouldn't watch.
but the editing that sometimes has those funny bits from movies is nice
This guy gets it!
Weathered the early storm? Magny got dominated the entire fight right up until the last 30 seconds, Malott was supposed to prove he was the better fighter and he did. A last minute mistake doesn't nullify all the success he's had thus far. Magny won the fight, but he definitely did not kill Malott's potential.
Don’t forget that Craig beat Krylov too! Not undefeated and not hyped, but a dark horse future contender
This might be my, for lack of a better term, favorite fight genre. I love a underdog story
holy crap. Cant believe Ian is in one of these. he got me into watching UFC. went to middle school with him
MMA Right On Point 💯
The Mike Mallot win was insane. Neil was 15 seconds away from losing the decision when he got the tap. Unreal.
Paddy is a walking meme
I feel like every up and comer either fights Black Niel or Black Neal or both
2:00 I like that they left out Maycee being injured for 2/3 of that fight and Modafferi still not able to finish
They covered it already in a prior video.
Roxy..... happy warrior when most didn't know what mma was
KenFlo also derailed Diego Nunes, who was at the time trainingpartner with Aldo and thought of as the next big thing ot of that camp.
Is edwin shahbazyan going to fight again in the ufc? This video just made me remember that guy
I had a feeling magny was going to get it done. I was thinking decision but yea. A pleasant surprise.
No Max Holloway? I'm insulted!
Ano man and wheres diaz
Paul Craigs career has been a roller coaster, what a guy
Gilbert and Usman sort of killed Khamzats hype despite both losing, but they show how he isn't this train plowing through everyone.
Very true. I do give khamzat slight props though. I havent seen many people challenge usman like that. With that being said if it was a 5 rounder it wouldve been a different fight
No mention of masvidal KO of Till? That started the hype train at that point Till only loss was for the belt fight before. And it was HIS main event in his backyard masvidal wasn’t supposed to win let alone KO him.
Jorge also hadn’t fought in over a year. He had everything going against him in that fight but he still ko’d Till
The Ufc trading DJ for Ben askren made me so angry I never really got on that hype train
i will say it did end up making the ufc look better, askren had basically no success in the ufc and mighty mouse lost once in one but avenged it and is still champ there
I didn't understand any hype for a pure wrestler.
calling ryan hall a ufc prospect is hilarious
Getting your hype train stopped by neil magny has to be tough
I mean, until something crazier happens. Masvidal KO'n Ben is THE definition of Derailing a HypeTrain in all MMA (Sorry Uncle Chael, you were THIS close)
Top ten gate keepers
Every prospect must kneel to Magny
Crazy how Jorge made the number 1 spot, yet his fight with Till wasn't mentioned. Not knocking the channel or video. Great content as always. But even though Till was coming off a loss to Woodley, I still feel like he was being hyped since it was a loss to the champ and he was young in his career. That KO from Jorge really did him in though. I think that's when his hype train officially ended.
Babe wake up MMA On Point uploaded
You wake up your boyfriend by posting on this youtube thread?
Hooker vs Turner worth a mention i reckon
Made this video 2 weeks too early. Hermanssen just killed Pyfers hype.
Roxanne has one of the worst records in UFC history, and Maycee Barber couldn’t take her out 💀💀💀
Dayman! Fighter of the nightman!
I just got the same bet365 midroll add three times in a row with 5 second intervals
RIP - One of the unlucky ones
Yasss mon the Craig!🏴
We get a decent fighter Craig takes 7 peoples Zerosbut but he hit or miss
Ian Gary killed his own hype
Nice Step Brothers reference lmao
Derrick brunson and Michael Johnson unpredictable fighters
Bryan Barberena took out Joe Ellenberger, Sage Northcutt, and Warlley Alves. He’s a hype killer.
I loved it when Roxy beat Barber. A bit of lateral movement so she wasn't standing in front of her and Barber was completely lost. It was hilarious. Everyone had just stood right in front of Barber up until that point.
No mention of Phil Hawes for Magny either? He had some steam
Neil "Dream Ender" Magny. Mallot threw that fight after Draft Kings called +1200 on Neil Magny. After he saw the call, he tried to pull off a weird jumping RNC then lost his footing then lost the fight.
Shoulda put the Till KO on the Masvidal highlight. Even tho he lost before that, Till had huge hype, and it looked like a “get right fight” for Till
Hector was a scary, scary man
Malott will bounce back he’s a dawg and blew that fight
He should look at getting a fight in a couple months honestly he need to get a move on at 32 and unranked. Take a note out of Roman kopylovs book his career was halted by injuries in his 20s and a couple losses in his first 2 ufc fights now that he’s 32 and healthy he’s fighting short notice whenever there’s someone available and building up a streak
Where was that dawg when he was gassed lol? Khamzat by contrast had that dawg in him when Gilbert pushed him to the limit.
Well…that Ilia Topuria inclusion has already aged majestically.
Best cut men performances please
I had no idea Cowboy beat Eddie Alvarez. Goddam LEGEND
Didn't just beat him, he beat THE FUCK out of him like Eddie owed him money. Cerrone landed some of the most brutal body/leg kicks on Alvarez, breaking him down until eddie couldn't even stand anymore. I implore you to watch the fight,it was absolutely brutal watching it live back in the day.
Gamebred also shut down Till's comeback fight. Gamebred was supposed to be a stepping stone.
@2:15 Bro looks dead 💀 😳
Soon Sean is ganna be derailed. And I’m here for it
Dayman!
Christian Rodriguez would go on an active fighter hype killer list. He stopped both Raul Rosas and Cameron Saaiman; both of whom were on 2023’s Prospect List.
overweight on Saaiman, we can't count that as he was a cheat !
If Gamebred hadn’t landed that knee (which was a long shot, although well executed), I think that the outcome would have been very different.
But Beneil did have some controversial Wins in his UFC career
5:02 ok what did green trunks to to the ref to deserve this? 😂
Imagine my pleasant surprise after putting money on Magny, never trust a Canadian
Ben being sent to the NetherRealm will forever be a top 10 ufc moment
Let's be honest, Ilia would murder paddy lol
Super necessary
When all that trash talking comes back to haunt you. Perfect karma
Thumbnail guy kinda looks like Sidney Crosby.
Roxy is so wholesome. breath of fresh air in this sport
