Praise the Lord for this video!🙌 I had no idea where the drains were located! The interior of my car is a nasty mess from the ongoing leak. THANK YOU!!
This will help someone out with this problem. There is also a pair of drains on the rear corners of the sunroof. Those have the same "filter" on the ends that become clogged.
Good video ❤that how I did my 2012 fx35 from the outside pop the hood take off all same thing from windshield ,take off the baffle or nipple ,run water test .That did for me .The reason I’m commenting on this video is because all other videos go inside and take off so much of the interior panels taking a chance of breaking clips or damage waste time. This is a good video thanks 🙏
Windshield wiper blade puts tension on the bolt threads so push down on the part in-between the bolt and balde and lift up on the thread area. (You will see the tension go away).
Good video. These nipples with the 'filter' are a problem. I have a 2016 Nissan Altima but unfortunately when I take off the cowl there is another metal piece underneath that covers the nipples and I'm not taking that off. So I cannot access from the outside. So on the passenger side the hose connects to the nipple behind the glovebox. I disconnected it (nasty smelly water splashed everywhere) and ran a wire through the nipple from the inside to the outside. That opened the 'filter' and now the water flows freely. I dread having to do that on the drivers side which is hidden behind the brake pedal, but I think I can access the outside of the nipple from the wheel well.
Thank you so much!!! Do you know if there are filters/drainage at the back as well? The quote I got stated: Remove roof lining board to unblock front and rear sunroof drainage and re-fit.
@PHL_Brownstone Thanks I did but can't find any who got to the plug like you did.. you're the man... After some more prying , it seems like my mother's altima plug is somewhere behind the wheel well. I may just try and poke the tab off with a screwdriver from the inside. Thanks for pinpointing the problem! You're the man. Take care
How stupid trying to dry the car with a leaf blower, the blower blows out cold air, it would have been quicker to leave the car out in the sun with the windows open, and you would have had a smaller electricity bill!
Leaf blowers have many uses. All you need is air movement to dry wet carpets, leaf blower worked excellent for this purpose. Was doing this at night thats why the garage door was closed. NO SUN AT NIGHT. I work everyday and pay my own bills! Any more questions???

This helps, now to try it. The dealer wants to charge 3k to do this. And they did it 1.5 years ago

I’m not sure if there’s rear drains
I used gasket maker to seal around the edge of the drain port so water don’t seep back into the car.
Thank you for the idea
Thank you 😂
Do you think the 2015 altima may be in the same spot? My mom is having problem in the front driver side....
Not sure but you can google your mom’s car. And watch the videos good luck

This could have been 3 mins long.
Well yeah the possibilities are endless
Is this the same for 2016?
Yes I believe so
