  • In this video I show you how to make a Valentine's Heart Tree Decoration out of supplies you most likely already have. I really wanted to decorate my house for Valentine, but I have never done it so I am starting from scratch. I have tons of Christmas and Halloween decor, but none for Valentine's Day. I decided this was the year to start our collection. I spent a wopping $3 total on this project, and finished it from start in under 30 minutes.
    Supplies Needed:
1 wood block (mine is square 4"x4")
Wire Hangers (every time I say that it reminds me of Mommy Dearest lol)
    Wire Cutting Tool
    Valentine's or Love Cardstock Paper
    Glue (E6000)
    Drill
    Drill Bit
    Self-adhesive Glitter Heart Stickers
First I glued the cardstock paper to the block of wood as my base. Next, I cut wire hangers in 6 different pieces at different sizes ranging from 9" to 15". Then I drilled holes in the wood block the same size as the wire hangers width. I put E6000 glue in the holes, and placed the wire hangers in holes. Once the glue set (which was about 15 min) I started attaching the Heart Stickers. I made sure to put one at the top of each wire piece as they were sharp and "pokey" after cutting them. This worked out so well because the wire hangers made it easy to bend each piece to exactly how I wanted it!
This was such a fast, easy, and incredibly cheap project. Now on to my next one. I hope you enjoyed this video! Thanks for watching.
