Recipes:
🍌 Banana Muffins Recipe:
INGREDIENTS:
4 very ripe medium bananas
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup avocado oil
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 c of silk vanilla creamer
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all the ingredients.
Pour into the prepared pan.
Bake until middle is set and a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean, 45 - 55 minutes
🥖 Challah Recipe:
6 cups of water
5 lbs of flour
Sugar to ur liking
3 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoons yeast
Oil
Osvo-overnight stew:
Grate:
1 carrot, 1 apple, 1 onion, and 1 tomato.
Add 1/4 cup of oil to pot and above ingredients. Add 2 cups rice, 1 can tomato sauce, lamb bones and 4 cups of water. Season with 1 tbsp of salt and 1 tbsp chicken consome. Cook for 12 hours on low flame.
🐠 Fried flounder:
Dip flounder into egg seasoned with paprika, S&p, garlic powder, then into bread crumbs. Fry on both sides.
🐓 Roast chicken:
Season 4 chicken thighs with paprika, S&p, chicken seasoning and oil. Cook covered at 350F for an hour and a half.
Rack Of Ribs:
Season with S/P, Cumin, Coriander, onion soup mix. Pour Chinese rib Sauce and BBQ sauce. Cook covered for 2 hours at 350F.

Love watching you.It brings back so many memories.When i was a little girl we live next door to a wonderful Jewish family and I remember the meat pies and Matzah Ball soup.Good memories.We loved that family .I am 75 years old now.We had the Jewish family on one side and Italians on the other side.Wonderful memories.

I grew up in NY, the Bronx to be exact...I was bused to a jr high school in a Jewish neighborhood ...I took a home economics class and the first thing they taught us to make was mazta ball soup... I've been hooked on it ever since...I make it when I'm under the weather and my grandchildren love it...everything looks so yummy Sonya...I look forward to your videos ❤
Home economics such a wonderful thing all kids should learn on their curriculum, sadly no teaching of this in regular school.
You should try adding a few drops of hot sauce and some fresh squeezed lemon juice to your matzo ball soup. I got this “trick” from a Hispanic waiter in a Greek diner.
I do like to make my own matzoh ball soup at home. I generally use the Streitz mix, and I use plain club soda, which makes the balls a bit more fluffy. I like my matzoh balls on the small size, so I use a small ice cream/cookie scoop, which works fine.
I think I see some matzoh ball soup in my kitchen this weekend…..
I love your channel because you document what an incredible amount of skill and planning goes into domestic tasks. This work ( let's face it) is undervalued. What struck me was in your other video how you mentioned that you do your lists during YOUR lunch hour at work. You don't even get that hour to rest. You are doing a great service showing the world what it takes to run a household.
As amazing as your Shabbat prep was- I was delighted that you got to spend one on one time with your son. He must have been so proud of his contribution. You are an amazing mother and role model!

But you love your family enough to spend time making beautiful Shabbat meals, and I try to cook beautiful Sunday meals for my family. You work hard to keep your home immaculate, and so do I. When I was young and i learned how to make chicken soup from my grandmother after she boiled the chicken and seasoning she took it out of the pot and put the pot in the refrigerator for a few hours all the grease would rise to the top and then she would skim it out I always remember those little things when i make my soup😊

My kids always have sat on the counter to help. I actually found it super helpful because they weren't all over the place touching things they weren't supposed to touch. They could wash hands once and then be on the counter helping and it was SO much easier for me. They seemed to focus better, too, and they weren't in the way of drawers wherever they were standing on stools or chairs. Anyway, that's my two cents. Counter kid prep for the win!
