The same people criticizing you for feeding your family snacks of chips are the same people who buy and eat (and feed their kids) hot pockets, pizza egg rolls, uncrustables, and make a couple trips each week through the Drive-thru and drink $7 venti cold foam lattes.
You cook everything from scratch and are scrupulous with what you buy and serve for your family meals. They're just envious of you. I love your food and grocery hauls.

I'm 64 now, but I also nursed 5 babies (twins too!) and I found that those growth spurts came on the "3s", meaning: 3 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and a year. I found the best thing (and the hardest for mommies) is lots of rest, nourishing food and fluids, and most importantly: let that baby nurse as often as he/she wants. More nursing=increased milk supply. As good as pumps are nowadays, babies are still the best pumps! Nurse til he's full, and then still pump afterwards too, and help during those difficult times. And once they are on solids, nurse first when he's really hungry and then offer solids afterwards. These are just the things that helped me. You yourself being a nurse and experienced mother will figure out what works for you and your little fellow.

Sonya my biggest tip regarding milk supply is to pump 5 minutes past being empty. I nursed & pumped for my triplets and had a significant oversupply even for triplets. It can help stimulate the body to make more instead of maintaining the current or decreasing. I was so thirsty all the time I had large cups of ice water at my bedside and next to where I nursed & pumped. Best wishes to you and your sweet family. ❤

For the milk tips: drink a lot, including some beer. After 6 months, milk supply is naturally decreasing, corresponding to the time you start introducing food. It all makes sense. Go with the flow, do not worry . As for your response to comment about your food choice: brilliant. You are absolutely right: everything in moderation, once in a while is more positive than you think. American people have difficulties with “moderation” generally….

White flour's usually not a bug problem but the flour stays in better shape in the freezer.

What a lovely Vlog.I used to live in the USA and the neighbours were kind and caring always looking out for the other. Now here in the Uk, Its a different and very sad story.Neighbours do not talk, want to hurt each other all based on their religion. Its sad the world is going this way.xxxx

For your milk supply try fenugreek and blessed thistle, you can buy them in a pill format or cook with fenugreek. You can also try, if you have time, power pumping

To bring your milk supply up…..let your baby nurse more often. (Or pump even when nothing is coming out, to simulate this) Even letting your baby stay latched on and use you as a comfort or to go to sleep ….It tells your body there’s a greater demand, and your body will eventually come up usually 3 to 7 days, and then you can go back to the schedule of further apart, feedings, but there will be more milk at each feeding.

Fenugreek for increasing milk supply. You can steep it and drink it as a tea or make fenugreek cookies. Lots of recipes online. Works like a charm. Takes a couple days to see an increase, but it works!

I’ve seen that lowering carbohydrate intake which will decrease your insulin levels could greatly increase breast milk supply. Eating high in fats is also helpful during this. I tried oatmeal while breast feeding and the spike in insulin only decreased my supply.

Breastfeeding is based on supply and demand--i.e. the more the baby nurses, the more milk you will produce. Supplementing helps in the moment but typically lowers mom's supply.
You are a committed mom to have so much going on in your life and still desiring to continue breastfeeding!
    Blessings.

After six babies my two cents: treat your nursing journey as if you’re an athlete. Breast milk is very protein rich and fatty and it takes a lot of bodily resources to produce milk. Hydrate hydrate hydrate with mineral rich fluids: coconut water, electrolyte mixes such as LMNT brand, bone broth. Increase your protein intake significantly. Stress and inconsistently eating meals and or missing meals will mess with milk supply 😢

Hi sweetie, thanks for sharing with us all you've purchased from Costco, never mind other opinions, you are a SUPER MOM,no exaggeration,I admire your love and care towards your family, everything you prepare is clean, look so fresh and delicious, and if someone doesn't agree with you,it's their problem, but as you can see from the comments, everyone loves you,and everything you do regarding the meal you prepare, and everything you do in your beautiful home,as I've said in other comments,I admire you from all my heart for everything you do,I admire you as a person,as a mom, daughter and wife, and I can tell that you are like this in every aspect of your life not only for the sake of these videos!Regarding for your lactation increase, my personal experience was to consume as much soups I possibly could, mostly tomato soup, you can make it from fresh tomatoes in this period of the year,I made it from 3-4 big tomatoes,1 onion,1 carrot,1 potato, everything grated and seasoned after your liking, and when is ready, leave the soup on very small fire, put in a little skillet some oil, depending on how much soup you've made,1 or 2spoons of flour, put it on medium fire mixing continuously untill it become golden,(1-2 minutes)add a teaspoon of paprika, mix again, put a glass or more of hot water mix everything well and pour this mixture in the soup, give it a boil together, and it's ready, a delicious milk increasing tomato soup! I am from Romania, I live in a beautiful town very close to the Hungarian border, and in this area we make most of the soups in this way it gives a very good taste and flavor to the soups and this mixture is named "rantaş",it's suitable for bean soup(green or the usual one),for potato soup, for green pie soup, for cabbage soup,etc...I hope you'll try it,believe me,it's delicious! And,as always, MAY HASHEM BLESS AND PROTECT YOU AND ALL YOUR LOVED ONES EVERY SINGLE DAY OF YOUR LIVES AMEN ve AMEN ISHTABACH SHEMO laADDDDDDDDD!!!😊😘🥰

I don't know if you have access to stinging nettles. I can recommend having "older" stinging nettles in the broth. The younger ones that are about 2 inches are good to use in soup (instead of spinach), quiche or crepes. The quiche and crepes are milk based.
