There is a lot of pressure on the heavyweights right now. AJs career was on the line and he took no chances. Its the Mayweather thing, fringe fans want to see more than just technical boxing many times. AJ does have haters though, but who doesnt?

I didn't like AJ prior to this Ruiz 2 fight. I liked his performance on Saturday because he boxed, stuck to his game plan and acted like a boxer. Trimming weight and choosing boxing over body building.
However, this game plan won't work against the likes of fury. Fury, at the money, is the best technical boxer in the division. Aj lacks speed. And unfortunately with the style we saw on Saturday, showed a reluctance to throw his right hand after the jab. Which is no use against fury. Fury will see that big right hand coming AND has got up from 2 of the biggest right hands in boxing! Wilders!
Enough is enough with this now Eddie. Stop protecting your cash cow and let's arrange some real fights, Wilder and fury. It has to happen. Be done dodging and get the fights on!

Point of correction, Ruiz trained and knew what exactly he had to do, however AJ was so good that he didnt allow Ruiz or he didnt give Ruiz the chance to execute his plans .. let's give credit to whom it's due.. AJ took Ruiz on boxing lesson 101 and he won Ruiz in classic style, he made Ruiz look like a learner
