El Arona - Wreck Diving - Las Palmas, Gran Canaria.

The Arona Wreck is a merchant ship 100 meters in length which unfortunately sunk in 1972 after a fire onboard. The wreck lies at a maximum depth of around 45 meters and is situated six miles from Puerto de la Luz port in Gran Canaria’s capital Las Palmas. This was a great dive with Blue water diving in Puerto Rico, my deepest dive so far. Very lucky my GoPro wasn't lost forever during the swim through, a fellow diver fortunately recovered it just in time.
