I could NOT stop laughing at the "She's looking a little blank" bit. That sentence has been seared into my memory; whenever I hear the word BLANK, I will think of this episode, of JJJZ giggling at the meanness, and it'll be a free smile I get to wear here-and-there until the end of my days.

Jose was in complete disbelief and despair this entire episode that he was getting whooped by a girl.
Now that we've finally gotten to that point, I'd like to announce my suggestion for you guys for a future episode.
During the 1993 season, there was an episode that had three perfect score winners competing in a one-hour special. I don't know if it's on Paramount Plus, but the special is on CZcams, and here's my suggestion for the Guts All-Star Special if you guys decide to see it.
The selection order and prizes for winning will be up to you guys, but how the All-Stars are selected will be a completely blind draw--that is, you will have no idea who are you picking until you make the selection. Also, and this is the most important rule--NO MID-EPISODE TRADES! Once you make the selection, you are with that All-Star all the way through.
And for the record, here are the three All-Stars...
Blue--Mike "Superman" Schmidt (seen in episode 1-08)
Red--Jana "Warrior" Waring (seen in episode 1-05)
Purple--Kelli "Maniac" Marchewka (seen in this episode, 1-46)

They could do a marathon for that episode and draft a player for each event. Whoever finishes last gets first pick for the next event. That would be an amazing episode.
I wouldn't be surprised if Jimmy is already cooking something up for that.

- Kelli was 4” off third overall tying Ryan S02E02 mark of 20’ 0” in The Longest Yard. If she would have, debuting and logging a 1st, 3rd, 3rd while not as epic as 1st, 1st, 2nd as some other athletes, definitely respectable. Kelli played a great episode for the competition and events she was involved in.
Kelli looks to be still absolutely killing it at life, if you can search for her name correctly (was a typo in the Spill Your Guts section)! Drafting Christina over Jose immediately struck me as a terrible idea, even after he got lost

LOTHT is 6 teams to start, but it doesn't work the same because teams are eliminated after each stage
It would have to be a totally different format. Like 1 point for each round your team gets through and then a bonus if your team successfully runs the temple

Everyone needs to stop complaining about the series ending. They aren't even close to the end yet. Just enjoy it right now! :)
26:48 I have a guess why Purple tends to win more on the Crag, conversely why Red struggles. Putting aside the talent of the athlete, look at the last stage of the crag, where the athlete needs to rock climb up to the top. There is a protruding part of that which forms a point outward. You need to grab either handle to the side of it, also go up that way instead of over the highest point directly in the middle. Purple/Blue naturally arrive at this point at an angle given they are on the edges, and the athlete’s perspective of this may lead them to go to the side more naturally, while Red naturally arrives square in the middle and might not think to go to either side. Totally depends on the athlete, but maybe this part of the course subconsciously plays a part too. 🤷♂️
