Se eu não me engano ela se lesionou antes dos jogos tambem, entao não estava em seu auge. Mas realmente é uma lenda. A China apostava todas as fichas nela.
Se ela quisesse poderia fazer uma barra simples e teria muita chance de medalhar no AA. A própria Nastia Liukin foi campeã nessa olimpíada com um salto bem fraco.
Já li que ela tinha medo das paralelas por conta da altura, ñ sei se procede, ela até fazia, tem vídeos antigos, linhas lindíssimas, se ela fizesse all around seria imbatível! Ela era de outro planeta kkkk, nunca vi outra chinesa com o nível dela. Vendo hj, com tudo mais fácil, melhores equipamentos, a china caiu demais de rendimento

Oi, infelizmente não posso postar Jogos Olímpicos, e também não tenho as finais pelo Sportv dessa olimpiadas. O COI não libera os direitos para terceiros, ai acabam bloqueando o vídeo.
A shame about the final Chinese gymnast jing yuan yuan. If it wasn’t for the big step on the dismount she could’ve edged Fei out for a place in the beam final. It always baffled me how Fei’s finals routine was so much poorer than this one yet received a higher score.
To be fair, Cheng's beam in QF was probably one of the best she's ever done and she rightly qualified over her other teammates based on these performances. I don't think Jiang would've beaten her score here even without the mistakes - she only anchored the team on this piece because the Chinese have a history of putting their weaker gymnasts on each event last to give their score a little team-building boost.

Because it was screwy scoring. That whole competition was ridiculous scoring wise.
