Half your shots don't land at longer ranges and a headshot is the most lethal for zombies so firing full auto at that range against zombies is ineffective. Even for something like an MG its a waste on Zombies, In Vanilla MG is good for suppression where suppression is simulated (ie. you can wind a soldier even if you don't hit them slowing them down and forcing them into the low stances) but against Zs this isn't simulated and the Zs will just keep approaching you no matter how many good hits you land- you may get lucky with a Headshot but its still a waste of ammo better suited for when things REALLY go bad and you've got Zs directly in your face (Rimmy showcases that on the carrier decks- because he actually understands Arma unlike the other squads who just shot anything that moved).

All it would take is shooting them in the Torso and then hiding somewhere safe for a few days the zombies would bleed out and with no blood to transport oxygen all cells in the body would start to die including the brain
