I used to do work for KK in Winston-Salem. They have a facility with a store mock up. Krispy Kreme University. I miss the old days when they were open 24 hours. Bring back the apple filled with cinnamon sugar sprinkled coating.
Every dozen of Krispy Kremes should come with a side of insulin and an automatic dental appointment 😆. Those things are sweet as hell haha

I live 5 minutes from a Krispy Kreme factory in West Columbia, SC.
Always thought they were too sweet. Fortunately, I live in Round Rock and they make some of the best donuts. Round Rock Donuts. Now that's a doughnut.

No there is NOT milk in the glaze. I should know, I made it every day for a year before becoming a Krispy Kreme manager. And no, I can’t tell you the secret, sorry.

so you don't know. well the recipe requires the use of cream, powder sugar, and cane sugar, along with vanilla. its really a simple recipe.

Krispy Kreme donuts are super sweet and disgusting😒... Go to your local bakery for good donuts... And there is nothing special about that glaze... Just a simple glaze like every other donut chain, but sweeter...
About all I ever see otherwise are those dry and mealy cake donuts. If I want a piece of pound-like cake with some powdered sugar on it I'll get a pound cake and sprinkle some powdered sugar on it. If I want a donut I'll get Krispy kreme.
