“Woah woops, I dropped my monster torque tube that I use for my magnum T56.”

Glad to be a part of this awesome build...even if it's not an LS 😉 #TeamTick
Rob dahm is one of the best automotive CZcamsrs out there he’s always bringing new and exciting content. You get the fun videos and the more tech oriented videos, always something new.
Finish something!
And the way he looks into the camera says he cares
@@oldninjarider are projects car ever really “finished”?
@@Zachcamaj yes but too many mean nothing ever is.
Rob knows LS fest west is almost ⏲ ⏳ time to go
That's a massive tool, pretty big impact wrench as well
Love it.
"Tools, and the tools use them..." 😂
Dad, how’s the C8 going? It’s been a while.
Damn, last time I was this early, Rob was still driving a perfectly good RX8 at Big Willow!
That went boom
Only channel with the bell activated and probably the only one that didn't beg me to do so 😅
Perfect good is a far stretch of the truth. ...
Just say he was driving a running RX-8 .
Props to whoever your editor is for not putting the volume on 200% like 98% of other youtubers, half volume is always great compared to using just 5-10% for every other video.
Also nice that they don't make the music 4x louder than the speaking bits like some other channels
You guys shouldn't leave so much great content on the cutting floor. I'm sure most of the people that watch your content would be stoked for a 40 min vid. Or even several hours in a vid cuz you guys are so easy going and always in a great mood and joking around with each other. That makes us wanna watch almost everything, it doesn't have to be burnouts or rev limiter for us to enjoy it I guess is what I'm trying to say 😆
Rob Dahm VODs channel
You guys were in a lull of trying to figure stuff out...now youre just BANGING out projects and video's and its great to see. By this time next month you will have 4 running rotary projects! I want to see a Rotary swap in your C8 Vette now😈
Yeah, another motor build incoming! Love it :) But those Rob Dahm endings.. just when it's about to get good you get blueballed.. xD
Just watching this channel grow to this awesomeness is awesome in its self. The rotary knowledge gained over the years has been a blessing . Thank you 🙇🏻🖤👊🏼💯🔧🍻
Rob, I love seeing all the cars getting track time and getting dialed. the content youve been pumping out is awesome!
Rob Dahm can drop the clutch - even when he's not in a car... 😂😁🤪
Even tho I'm sitting here doing sacrilegious things like wrenching on my k24 RX8 because I'm a Honda boi I still enjoy listening and watching you tinker away on a dorito. Rob thanks for all the content u do 👍
Idk why, but it is funny seeing it written out "Robert Dahm"
These videos are the only ones on youtube i can not click off of until it’s over. Always something new and rad
I was curious about the weight balance on that thing. So its exactly 50/50 with the rotary, nice. I thought it would be more rear weight biased like 51-52% rear. I was able to get my C5Z 50/50 with a battery relocation to the rear, a/c delete, and a few other weight reductions up front like headers and 2 piece rotors. Keep the cool projects coming.
Probably would be a little more rear-heavy if it was a 2-rotor or even without the turbo and associated parts. A 2-rotor, especially NA, is a pretty light engine but it's more the small size that's cool. The 3-rotor means a lot of cast iron, more than in a piston engine with a similar footprint, and the turbo setup adds even more. Pretty cool that it balances so well, though
@@helplmchoking True. Even the little Evo3 16g on my GSX is pretty hefty for such a little guy and this turbo looks quite a bit bigger. I was looking up fully assembled rotary engine weights not too long ago and it wasn't exactly easy to find information. The aluminum ls6 is pretty light far as v8's go at around 450 lbs. But that rotary sits so far back in the bay I'm still surprised a bit it didn't shift the weight more. Also, it's a 13b 2 rotor not a 20b 3 rotor.
I’ve only been watching you for about 2 and a half years but I’ve got to say there’s nothing more I look forward to than watching your videos
Your a blessing
I like that almost all cars are on their final arcs. Rob's finally gunna enjoy em cars
Your channel has been the biggest motivation for me and I’m sure for many others simply cause of where you started, where you are & where you’re going! Keep it up, loving the content!
What about the transmission cleetus was running in Leroy? I recall them saying the C6 ZR1 diff was the absolute best, as they started breaking diffs and imput shafts.
Gforce
Still can't get better than a 4.10 gear in the zr1 diff and Rob isn't making 2000hp so it's not necessary to use the zr1 diff here
Bro Leroy makes quite a bit more sauce than any 13b will ever make. Even a Rob Dahm 13b.
@@dumb730 It's a pretty serious 13b, but yeah not making the power of a 7 second stick shift car by any means. And it's not a drag car anymore, so the super long gearing and crazy fast (but harsh and definitely not super street friendly) shifting isn't very useful, especially given the rotary wants to rev much, much higher than a turbo big block
I remember him saying it’s the strongest with the braces and stuff the saved with it.
Every time I see a new post I'm like whats Rob up to now lol. Love the content mate, very enjoyable and I like how open with information you are. Cheers from down under!
The T56 magnum is such a good transmission. I have a C6 Z06 with bolt ons and a B.F.D. Cathedral cam, I’m making 720 to the wheels all motor and the TR6060 started to give me slight problems so I now have a straight cut magnum and it’s been money. Anyways love the videos, Robert, great content as always
I love your videos, I check if you uploaded everyday. Because everyone in your videos are great people to be on camera! and seeing them in video just make it that much more enjoyable Dahm. Thank You for making our day better!
I really love seeing rob going from pure drag to trackmonster with all of his cars one by one..
Your videos are getting better by the week, I really enjoy them
Rob is blessing us with videos this week
Sheesh Rob, I hope that it won't hurt too bad when you "semi-pee your first motor".
Although I'm luckily not familiar with kidney motors, I'm guessing that full-peeing one would hurt like hell 😜
Ok, I'll let myself out now 😁
the one time I was hoping for a long video! glad to hear the new premix worked well
It can’t get better than that “Rob admiring a well polished shaft”
Thanks Rob! have a nice day!
Thank you for todays video Robert
Coming up on a million!!! Keep up the solid work, doin a dahm good job sir🤙
Every video is just nuts dude you're doing the best stuff ! Saws all moments every week basically
Rob, never stop making videos, you guys put out great content
Those coils have been overheated. Happened to one of my IG1A's. They dwelled and never fired and they overheat and all that white goo shit came out in the exact spot. Those coils are rooted.
Cool to see you reaching for torque in the lower rpm’s
16:50 The GTA sound clip edit was epic! 🔥
such a great video, 1 million soon! lets goooo
Can I just say
How much I love Rob’s laugh
I can't wait till you get into porting more!!!!!
I just seen your American Tuned commercial congrats it looks sick!
Keep adding video clips of rob geeking out about shit, love all the details keep it up guys
Love the content bro!
Rob twirling his input shaft. 👍
That's not a torque gun, that's a torque _cannon_.
Excited to see what comes out of going full mad scientist on a 13B!
I never have a damn clue what youre saying Rob, I think Im picking it all up little by little, but I still watch every video religiously.
Cheers to you posting your passion for us all to see dude!
Those darn cliffhangers!!!!
Damn get them bad boys goin rob
the tr6060 and the tr6070 aka C7 transmission will bolt into a c5 and it's starting out at a stronger peace than a t56 plus the pump is internal/included and other people have done that mod in a c5 and c6 and i think the c7 pumpkin has a dealership option for 4.10 to 5.10 something but i didn't really need lower gearing as 3.2 is good enough for me and my conversion tr6070 normal tail/driveshaft adapted into a 60's charger
*Rob grabs the shaft* “oh that feels good”
I had a laugh
Goddahm I can’t get enough give me more!!!!! I love the hour long videos!!!!! Lol jk you need the sleep but fr love the vids rob
Rob i have been watching you for like over a year and i still have no idea what your cars actually are (3 rotor, 4 rotor). Maybe one day you could make video, where you just show your cars and explain the basic builds in them :D
Pretty good content
Dob Ramn you with your end of video cuts :) Cant wait.
The IndyCar lookin' kinda fresh with the RX8 bumper ngl...
Is there going to be a part two? This is good
Rob please give us some 4 rotor racing action!!!
The rotary motor has always been cool. The new reinvented ones are suppose to be better from what I hear. Wonder if they are better. I'm sure rob will find out. Amazing how he's figured out how to fix alot of the rotary flaws. And I know there's alot of people over the years who have been doing this. But he's really growing here. 10 more years of this. And hopefully he will close to being the king. And not just royalty anymore.
Yeah rotary vett content. My favorite
Also misha said "forget about the 4 rotor"
LOL
You r the best rob
Rob,
Regarding the rubber oring rings that looked swelled. Dont USE VASELINE on them ! Use something that is more friendly with NBR and VITON. I like to use Toyota OEM brake caliper guide grease. It is pure sytchetic, cost is high, but doesnt swell rubber. Not to say that i am an expert on rotary engine assembly, but deal with that swelled oring stuff pretty often mostly because copper grease used on orings.
I'm not 🚫 going to comment on Isiac guiding you out. ... love the channel and keep it up mate cheers 👍
Seeing Robert Dahm made me giggle 😂
Me too!
We are getting spoiled with the rotary content
C5 content... LS Fest must be coming up.
Todd 4 rotor with rx3 front is awsome you tried to make us think you had the only 4wd in the world dork
2:35 best faces
Isaiah with the twin turbo lsx shirt hahahahhah 8:33
Hey Rob. Kevin says hi from the Ring and shaming you while driving his new 718 GT4 with Misha and you should go over visit him at Apex after his new jaw reconstruction surgery recovery. 😀👍
S1 shifters makes an H pattern to sequential shifter assembly that bolts on to that trans without any trans upgrade.
Rob, Misha says you need to get to the Nurburgring lol
It's time for the 150hp 1 rotor civic build.
How about a three rotor Vertical Aviation Sikorsky S-76, Helo.
More vertical take offs, please.
1 rotor swap the insight
Hi Rob. Ian here from Australia. I've been enjoying your content and have an idea for you to consider. A few years ago now I had a Ford that was running on LPG, which I constructed a Hydrogen generator to run in conjunction with the LPG. This produced a 33% increase in HP at the flywheel or 14% at the back wheels. I always thought that this would work the best with a rotary engine. I had plans to have a bench engine to test it on but Rotary engines were too expensive to get at the time. Mazda themselves had great success running two RX8 cars on Hydrogen. If you'd like to try this then I can explain how I built my generator. It wasn't a browns gas type. I never had any success with them.
I'd love to watch that build video by Tick
💪greets from germany
Show us the 4 rotooooorrrrr I'm addicted to that car
The Legend
Hey Rob it's been a while since we've heard any update on the new Corvette
Oh no bro its daddy dahm just in time for a bed time story 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tick performance makes some nasty transmissions 😍💪
Rob's laugh is like someone 2 stepping
You should put an angle kit on the Vette and drift that bad boy.
After you run that oil pump and it drives you crazy because of how loud it is get a Tesla Model 3 oil pump and make a can for it and then you'll have a quiet oil pump.
Jaret should do a surprise visit
Please make the vette sound better too🤞 also cover the racing stripes, easy fix would improve the looks so much
Idk about those wheels and it definitely needs some paint work probably just a polish and maybe a respray on the front bumper
this is epiccccc
You should make a Hillclimb racer out of this 2 rotor corvette. I’m talking huge wing, and crazy aero all over
The fuel system on the 4 rotor would be ideal for a Pikes Peak car.
Haltech 🙌
Top gear too
You need to label that 1" impact the angry incher.
Not tryna fangirl here but I proposed wearing your signed shirt 😂 this is the only channel on CZcams that I religiously follow
I know you have a lift, but please try and promote safety when working with things on jacks in your shop. My father's car fell off the jack while quickly adjusting something and crushed him, he is currently in intensive care on life support. Even resting a transmission on a jack can have serious consequences and although risks are taken on a day to day basis, it brings home the realization that anything can happen. Love your channel and your spirit.
Makes you wonder wtf was going on at GM.
They put this trans in sports car then the same motor into a truck with a larger trans… and that trans was notorious for exploding.
Like bro 🤯
those red package is like red venom form movie
How hard would it be to machine triple lobe housings and irons. That would make one interesting 2 rotor...
Those Magnum are always the best they make the best anti-baby makers to. 😂
Why did it look like Isiah wanted to jump into the foam and start rave dancing when Rob was spraying that cleaner !!
Dam welders, ya can't leave them alone for 2 minutes without them fucking off or assaulting the cats !
