- Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - 1990 World Figure Skating Championships, Pairs' Free Skate - Isabelle Brasseur and Lloyd Eisler of Canada skated brilliantly in front of their home audience to place 2nd in the Free Skate. They ended moving up from 4th to 2nd Place overall.
Stunning performance!
Lloyd was an incredible partner!
They were robbed of the gold medal!
I can't shout at G&G winning gold - they won the short and B&E finished fourth. But these guys should've won the long program.
I thought Selezneva & Makarov should have won the gold actually. G&G deserved 4th.
Maybe but in another sense they didnt deserve any placement at these worlds as they didnt even deserve to be here. They should have been only 4th at the 1990 Nationals which they nearly were beating Menzies & Wheeler by only .1 of a point for 3rd.
@@deaconconway5281 cope harder.
In a word "Robbed"!!!
Both throws 3S and 3T her hand TOUCH the ice! No triple jumps! And 5.8-5.9 gor technical merti??? They should have been lower than Mishkutenok and Dmitriev!
These two should have been tied with g&g for 3/4.
Isabelle always head down the jumps don't looks clean..amazing the lifts.I'd rather Sale and Pelletier
Technically this was good but there was no artistry.
I disagree
