Motorhead magazine teams up with Luke Huxham to give you a glimpse into the life of three young at heart car maniacs that own three extremely unique Le Mans' cars, the Mazda 767B, a Jaguar XJ220LM and the already famous road going Porsche 962C. You may think these cars should be put in a garage or museum for safe keeping, but that is not the case here. Some of them still spend their lives racing around the circuit while others can be found hunting the streets for speed.
These are the "Car Maniacs", and this is their "Life With Le Mans'".

i've lost count of how many times I have watched this, its one of my very favourite. I find the video very emotional and extremely real. There is not many car videos where you can pull off having music but japanmotorhead know how to do it and I love the music which also seems to work very well within the Japanese car videos. This is just beautifully made I hope one day I can make a video like this. Please keep making more videos!

They are rich people and they prefer exotic race car and they found way to bought it. Not normal rich people able to reach these car while it on sale.
Once a month, I come here. And I enjoy this gem. Thanks, because I not feel alone in a world where cars and motorheads are persecuted for simply enjoying driving or racing. This is our passion, the way we choose to live. The way we choose to drive.

They can be (and are regularly) purchased. All cars bought by privateer teams usually end their life on the collector market; and even some works cars get sold to private collectors from time to time. The Scuderia Ferrari, for example, will happily let you take one of their F1 cars from the 2011 season - assuming that you are one of their "trusted customers", and have plenty of money to spend.
There are also meetings and races, like the Goodwood Revival (for vintage GT cars from the 60s), the Monterey Motorsports Reunion (with a focus on American steel and 3-litre F1 cars) and the Le Mans Classic (where you'll see all sorts of cool, private-owned Group C prototypes and other cool historic endurance racers).
Actually, I think the vast majority of post-70s racing cars that survived their career are still being raced, somewhere in the world.

The Mazda and Porsche are prototypes w dive-planes on the nose and further adjusted aero. It's amazing how the Jaguar looks largely stock, it was designed to be a performer in gt1.
