Hi Abby, this CDP the Foundation is really the Foundation. It’s so beautiful beyond words!! I got the lightest shade “Very light ivory” and it’s my shade, melted on my skin like a dream and looked flawless!!
I have a lot of Cle de Peau, I've been using their products for at least 10 years. I was curious about the difference between the new foundation and the old version, since I still have that to finish and it's expensive enough that I did not rush out to get the new version--so thanks for answering that! Their base products are all standouts, and I've found just calling their CS directly to be quite helpful in deciding what shade and what formula to try. Nice full face review--I also have that quad, I should use it more!

Abby, beautiful look using CDP! I agree with you their eyeshadows & blushes don’t get the attention like their other products. I do love their cream blushes, the illuminizer highlighters, and lipsticks. And I love the fragrance you chose Room Service one of my faves along with Mango Skin. 😊❤️

I just love the cream blushes and have three shades. I also enjoy the eyeshadow palettes, which also have very good longevity. Although everything is beautiful on you, I will likely pass on the Foundation. I have, and enjoy, the liquid foundation in both matte and natural and like those, too. However, I have oily skin in the summer and combo-oily in the cooler months and think the Foundation is likely too moisturizing for me; certainly the Cream is. In fact, in the hottest months, the liquid foundations are too heavy feeling for me and I tend to rely on Chantecaille’s gel or cushion foundation, as well as the Sisley cushion foundation, applied very lightly. I suspect anyone else with oily skin would have a similar experience with the Foundation. I hadn’t paid much attention to the bronzers, but the one you demonstrated is the perfect shade for winter. Thanks very much for an enjoyable video; so glad that you and your family had a lovely Thanksgiving.
Judith- you are right- this will be too heavy for those with oily skin and truly think it is for mature dry skin, especially in the colder months. And I had never paid attention to the bronzer either but I have to say - i LOVE it! Perfect winter color and it is silky and so easy to apply. A new love! So I hate to say it but I love The Foundation for winter because my skin just feels like I get an extra layer of hydration from the foundation. I do love the Matte one- but it does not feel as nourishing as the The Foundation... but yes- so much more expensive! And I love those cream blushes- so, so, good. Charli- I did get samples sent to me to try before I bought from Bergdorf Goodman. I would reach out to either Nordstrom Cle De Peau or Bergdorf's or Saks and see if they can send you samples first. And yep, I don't like to return these $$$ items either. SO I played with samples for a few weeks before deciding on my shade. Bouncing back and forth. LOL! I hope this helps. xoxo

I have been saying this for months lol 😂 and again just picked up 2 lip laques from chanel Holiday collection. Not so sure about rouge ombre one, its quite dark🤔 but rose mystère is really nice. I dont have any of these colors , in my makeup. And just purchased LE eyeshadow palette Vega and Mulberry shade. I was watching her video, and she made this beautiful smoky look, but not over the top, and not too shimmery, its just reminded me, i need for Christmas month😜 Have a blessed day🙏🧡

However, I have since used it up, but I don’t know what shade to order now. I was an O40, and that shade was perfect in the old one. Don’t know if I should go up a shade or not. I see it’s on sale now. I have their cream blush in Fig, gorgeous.
YES- you did! I remember buying it because you loved it so much. So I would say go up 1 shade. I am usually 020 or B20 and the 030 was the winner for me. I think due to the SPF this time around the shades are bit lighter. Their cream blushes really are the best of the best. I hope you are doing well. xoxo
This foundation will be the next one I try! I really love the CDP mattifying veil. Keeps all foundations looking fresher longer. Not really relevant to this video-but, everything all works out: I received my samples of Liwa and Delma today that I had ordered a while back-turns out I LOVE Delma and Liwa is very nice indeed, fabulous dry-down, and I do see why people compare it to 540, but Delma is much more what I’m looking for and also a monster. I ordered a bottle for Cyber Monday🎉🎉 🎉

I'm on a new foundation hunt and have watched two of your videos using Cle De Peau. I'm on the fence still, but at 63 with some fine lines and love a med. coverage I am so confused. OH, ABBY please, please where something to hold your hair away from your face so we can see your complete beautiful face and see the make up all over as well.... Just a suggestion......... No harm to foul. Thank you for the great videos.
I ADORE Abby and have watched her for years! I know this sounds silly but has anyone else noticed she really neglects the left side of her face with the makeup? It drives me insane 😆 my OCD kicks in so hard LOL 😆 her left side (our right side) always has less foundation. She blends her right side so well and just skims over the left side and misses spots like above her forehead. I noticed she only dips into her bronzer once and starts at her right side and then to the right side of her forehead and then with whatever is remaining- she will use that tiny bit for the left side. The right side is always going to be more pigmented. I wish she would dip in for the other side too so it would be even. Even with the eyeshadow in this video, her right eye is defined with that deep purple in the outer corner but she has no depth on the outer right side corner. I was just watching some cle de peau review videos and as I mentioned, I’ve watched Abby for years and adore her. I’ve just noticed this about her in most of her videos and it drives me crazy 😜 lol! But she’s so sweet and so beautiful and so fun to watch so I always love to come back. I don’t know what made me speak my mind today! I’m blaming it on the pain meds from surgery lol
First- I hope you are feeling better from your surgery and hope you are recovering well. Second- I will take note of what you are saying and try to do better. Clearly, I’m not an expert and just trying to the best I can ❤.
Cle de Peau cream blushes are definitely the best. But when it comes to the foundation, even with a discount, it is just too expensive for me. I can't justify paying that much for foundation.
