#1 Hydration is key both inside and out

#2 Sunscreen is an absolute must, including neck, ears, decollatage, and backs of hands
#3/4 Cream products, using less is more and don't ever powder
I used the CC Perfecting Primer in Bare from YB
#5 Contour/Bronze - warm up and frame the face. helps to create lift and enhance natural features
I used the McoBeauty Contour wand
#6 Highlighter in the corner of the eyes, cheekbones under Brows, under Contour
I used the @LOrealParisAU true match concealer
#7 Brows, if nothing else, brush them up and out
#8 Define your eyes with one shade, preferably a neutral complimentary colour
I used the St Renais Lip and Cheek tint in Acquedolci
#9 Brown eyeliner instead of black, so it isn't so harsh
Rumi Cosmetiques brown eyeliner
#10 Blush to add colour and help lift the face
Acquedolci
#11 Lips - line and define
Youngblood liner Pout
Lipstick Acquedolci
#12 Setting powder - only small amounts

THats the correct amount of makeup for me at almost 72✨ I'm wearing less makeup now as it looks softer.✨. No black liner or anything heavy...✨ Everyone always tells me I look at least 15 years younger than I am✨ so I'm happy with that...(I have always protected my face and neck from the sun so I think that has payed off) Anyway this was very helpful thank you..., ✨

This look I can do, I don’t have your blue eyes, mine are brown but I wear the shades of cosmetics you’ve used here often. I also like pinks. This look is gorgeous, so youthful and natural. Well done on this look!😊
You are so welcome! I am so glad yes these shade and Pinks will look good on brown eyes. You can also use either a grey eyeliner or eyeshadow as eyeliner helps to bring out brown eyes. Use it with either your pink shades or earthy tones 😊

I do wear grey eyeshadow as liner it’s much more soft, black can indeed be too harsh for me and as you said brown is a better look especially when one gets older, but yes I like the grey too and I have worn it with pink shades. I agree with the grey liner/shadow as opposed to brown which I find yellows the appearance of the whites of the eyes. Hope you don’t mind me chiming in.
Great tutorial and very helpful. I’d love to see a video on covering dark under eyes and little red veins on my chin as those are my two major skin issues.

Some wonderful tips here that have made me reevaluate my make up. At 67, with still very little grey in my medium brown hair, I feel like I need lighter make up, both in color and in application, to make a softer look. Thanks so much, and this will be watched many times, I am sure!

This was my first time to come across your videos. I love your look and your calm (not boring) camera presence. Best vid. I've seen, totally relatable, I've always worked with the principle that 'if you notice the make-up, it's too much make-up' . I'm 73 and still never use foundation, ageing skin is still ageing skin but with a layer of something on top, which ALWAYS settles into lines ! Just dot in on where you can even skin out. Your skin is fabulous anyway, would be very interested to see you do that method on someone my age.

I love that idea if the nectar above the other blush! I’m going to try that! I like powder blushes too. The creamy seem to melt off in Louisiana heat /humidity. The powder blush sets too without the heaviness of adding powder too 😊

I use Youngblood loose mineral foundation and it looks great on my 55 year old skin (natural skincare, no aggressive things). I find it sits great on my skin. 😊

All good tips, what brand is the dual ended pencil that you used in the waterline? Being a brunette/green eyes I need a bit stronget eye but I can stll use the principles you're given.

Just found your channel,I’m 48 and still learning makeup.I struggle a lot with mascara smudging on my lids,tried to powder the lids down and also bought waterproof mascara by Maybelline .I also use cream makeup mostly don’t like the powdery look.
I now don’t apply eyeshadows anymore🥲

Yes try a smudge proof or tubular Mascara. Some of the waterproof ones are very hard to get off. Then it irritates the eyes. I would suggest using just one shade of eyeshadow on your eyes in matte in a Neutral shade either tan or warm Peach and brush it all over mobile lid and on to your Brow bone to help lift the eyes. Let me know if this is helpful. I will aim to do a video for you.

Yes it is. Just ensure that your eyeshadow is on the brow bone also, this will help with lift. Just a light shade on your eye and then a light contour shade on crease and brow bone. Hope that helps 😊
