First let me say that I love this guy and his company. He is an artist and a craftsman in a world where there are few of these left.. I have a Benson Amp of only which Chris knows exactly what it is. Buts it is cool and has a thing. I also just purchased a Studio Tall Bird Reverb serial number 007... I just saw Mark Nathan playing a Benson amp at the Heatless Bastards concert this week. I had not heard of your amps until now, but OMG that amp sounded sooooo good. Nice work !
I just got a Benson Preamp pedal, which is essentially a Chimera preamp with FET's instead of tubes, and it's made me want to get rid of all of other overdrive pedals as they simply cannot compare anymore. Game changer to say the least.
scott b How is the Vinny with pedals? Mainly reverb and delay pedals? I am thinking about downsizing my amp for gigging but I use pedals. The Vinny seems great in their demo tho!

I thought about buying the Vinny Set with Cab and later on just buying the monarch head and use it with the vinny cab or the one i currently own (I have a orange 2x12 cab for bigger gigs but who wants to carry that around all the time). I have a Benson preamp. It's great. Best pedal I have ever tried in front of a big Fender Twin reverb. However, these people are so low energy and diffuse it would drive me mad working there. Is pot legal in Portland or something? I felt sleepy just watching this.
@@gringopig I've been thinking of getting one. My amp doesn't have reverb so I use a Strymon Flint and don't use any other pedals but it'd be handy to have something for leads that's easier than having to ride the guitar volume or twist the gain knob, both of which I'm used to

the vinny is great with pedals....sometimes i use the monarch head with the vinny cab and that sounds killer too.
