Working on dish cloths while watching this video. Two nights ago I attended a Major League Baseball game and of course brought my crocheting. Crazy ... they put me on TV crocheting while watching the game! The sportscasters said I was multitasking by "knitting" while watching the game. During the 7th inning stretch, the camera was on me again, crocheting while singing Take Me Out to the Ball Game. The sportscasters mentioned that they had been corrected by someone and clarified that I was crocheting, not knitting. Too funny! Maybe I should charge more for those dish cloths since they were seen by millons on TV. LOL
😂😂
So cool! 😁😂
This is a fantastic story!!! 😂
I like big twist yarn but you can’t put in the dryer .
😢 how do you dry if you do plushies ?
That story is so cool! ~Missy~
I had to comment on the love of stuffed animals, even as an adult. As a child, I had Blue Dog that my Godfather gave me at birth. Blue Dog was a very important part of my childhood and he even gave me a Christmas gift each year. Mom would tell me the story of how he saved his allowance and rode the bus downtown to shop for me. I loved Blue Dog! Skip ahead to my teen years and Blue Dog still sleeps on my bed. When I was 19, I broke my back in a windsurfing accident and when I woke up in the recovery room from the surgery, Blue Dog was in bed with me. Can you imagine the conversation my mom must have had with the medical staff to get the now extremely faded and slightly grimey Blue Dog into the sterile environment of the recovery room?? LOL Anyway, Love your creations and I get great ideas from your videos. Thanks!
I would love a business card template! Thanks for all the tips and tricks Camryn! 🎉
Yes pleaseeeee!!!!!
i really needed this today, i have a massive convention in 2 weeks and you saying to look at my stock and just be proud of what ive created!! ive only been crocheting for a year so im not fast at all but each day im getting better and quicker so thankyou for the encouragement!!
Love your energy. I came across your video as I'm looking for patterns. I just had major hand surgery with a 12 week no pinching and a 12 month recovery time. So as I'm laid up I'm writing down patterns I want to do when I can.
I can't wait to see more of your video's.
Thank you for all you do to help the restof us.
I am Amazed by your works, they are so good
Thank you so much! ❤️
Rewatching this the night before my show and being like “I don’t have enough axolotls” I hear you 😂
I love watching these videos before bed. I’m from Australia and so jealous over how easy it is for everyone overseas to get access to awesome yarn and all the markets you can sell at
I am from Hawaii. I have the same problem, it is hard to get yarn shipped here. the only place I can get yarn is Walmart and it is $15 for bernat blanket yarn and they don't have many colors available here either
I'm from Australia also and it's tragic what we can get our hands on and especially in spotlight, it is so bloody boring. I'm about to do an overseas order because I'm dying with the limited colour selection and them always being out of stock for the great colours
I had a VERY successful start of my market season. I was supposed to start in March but with several deaths in my family including my mom who taught be how to crochet years ago, I was not prepared for a March market. I was still way under prepared for my June markets. The opening day to the farmer's market was fantastic, but the comic con even last weekend blew everything out of the water. I wish I was more prepared for it, but I also took some short cuts to save time such as not tagging everything and have a clear price list displayed. I like the price list for my more niche items so that I can mark somethings up for the markets with higher vendor fees. The comic con was $100 vs my $50 for a full season of my farmer's market. I'm taking a few days off after pushing myself last week to do last minute projects.
That's so awesome to hear that you had a great start to the season! :) Yes! You definitely deserve a couple days off!
I'm working on a crochet cardigan for my husband today ☺❤ He loves them and at this point he has more than I do!
Oh my gosh 😂😂 That's so amazing!
Love watching all your videos…thank you for including costs for your materials…I feel it’s important for others to understand it when starting a side business…I am assembly line working on Christmas cross stitch items for my little shop while watching you!
Hey, hey, Makers I'm currently crocheting a cow!
Love the new amigurumi tags! I've been using your original tags because I still like to put care instructions on them. Can't wait to use the new ones!
Me too! I seriously want to snag these for my amigurumi!!! I use your other tags right now for my amigurumi also!
I’m crocheting a basket with 3 strands of multicolored yarn. Gives a great tweed look.
Looking forward to seeing how this show went and your craft room tour, I am working on my craft room this summer!
Thank you thank you THANK YOU for the eye embroidery tutorial!!! This has literally been the only thing stopping me from being happy with my chickens!! I recently went through and removed all the embroidered eyes that I already did because I hated how they looked so much. 😂 I just now did one following your tutorial, and it actually looks adorable!!! 😅🥰
I'm so glad you love it! ❤️❤️
Love your plushies! Betting you sell out on those adorable cows!🥰 I've looked at multiple pricing calculators and hands down yours is the BEST! It's truly a must have for any maker who wants to know the true value of their items! Thank you for helping all of us with your advice and motivation. ❤️
I working on Bonnie the bunny! It is honestly the easiest most beautiful bunny I have ever made. And I’ve made a lot of bunnies! The pattern is mod threads.
I love watching your videos while I'm market prepping 💚
Wow!! Inventory Queen! This just motivated me to prep some more 🧶🦋
I was working on putting a face and pearls on another crochet boba cup while watching 😀
Your items look so cute!
So many gems! Thank you for sharing all your tips! And we even got an eye tutorial! Excited for my first market next Friday!
Working on a Mama Made Minis Fox while I watch! Looove the mice!
The fox is so cuuuute!
Currently working on the finishing touches on loaf cats, octos and chickens for my show in 2 weeks, while I watch this. I love your energy!!!
I am working on a crochet jumper for my dad! started in October and may have forgotten a bit... but i only have to do one arm and ribbing so he should get it soon enough!
Chickens and turtles (and my coffee :). Can't wait to see how your show went! We are going into week 2 of our biweekly summer show!
I feel that way too with inventory
I think the mamamademinis Beam bear would be a great addition to your plushy inventory. I'm onto my second make for next market and the reason I chose this bear is because a customer was looking for something Traditional over the other fancier items I make and now I'm obsessed with this adorable little bear. The mouse you make is what got me loving MMM designs and their latest plushies over stuffies is so so cuddly
Thank you for the quick how to on how you embroider the eyes! I've started to and yours helped! I'm working on Mabel Chickens and also a little bear toi
I’m currently working on a ✨lesbian pride✨sweater (I crochet out of season) with the Big Twist Living yarn and I’m loving how it’s working up so far.
Gosh I’ve missed watching you. I’ve been MIA because I’ve had so many custom orders and pop up shops. Finally I can watch and work on customs today. Yay. I’m working on cows, koalas and ducks
That's great that you've had so many custom orders! And those sound like such cute makes :)
OH MY GOD THE COWS ARE SO FREAKING CUTE!!!!!!
Those cows are adorable! 😭🫶🏽
All your new plushies are awesome. You're amazing 🤩. I'm still crocheting away getting ready for fall. I haven't given up!
I’m making chickens right now while watching this video! Thanks for your upbeat cheery self❤ makes it fun while making things.
Great pattern choices, great inventory! You have a very good eye for aesthetically pleasing inventory :) One tip for quality in amigurumi is tight stitching - if you can see little holes or if a child could shove a finger in and touch stuffing, go tighter! Also, i love your embroidered eyes! 😊
I'm working on scrunchies for coworkers but I'm using regular acrylic yarn right now since I can't afford the velvet and blanket yarn
That's so nice of you to be making those for them!
Im working on a wall hammock to store all of my yarn because i have too much. Love your videos!❤
Working on notebooks for a 2 day craft market in July.
Working on an American flag wreath for a client while watching your video. Love your vids and they have helped me so much. Btw I can't live without your pricing calculator! OMG sooo much a life saver!
Love this video!!! Also wanted to share that I made a pink (like pale soft pink) chicken and I thought it was so cute but it NEVER sold. After a year of traveling to shows with me I gifted it to someone.
I love watching your shows. I am working on your velvet hat pattern . That is what i sold most at my last market, even the one i was making at the market sold before i had finished it.
You didn't have any cows last year, so making them this year is a huge win!! Gain over the Gap 🩷.
Working on a cow snuggler and I totally have trouble selling the first one I make. Thanks for sharing your cow and other patterns. I have been looking for one that does not take as long as some of the ones I have tried. I also have been stressing over safety eyes. I may switch to embroidery.
I find the embroidery to work really well, and be really fast and easy!
Market bags!
Hi Cameryn! I love your videos they are so inspiring and exciting to watch! I lysm thanks for posting ❤😊
I am working on sea turtles while watching. its 4am!!!!! I have a huge market on July 1st (Canada Day festival - approx. 10,000 visitors). I attended last year and it was great. I've been crocheting all year for this sale and so far I am up to 443 items. 161 of that total are keychains The problem is.....now I have to price everything - yikes! Good luck on your market!
Such a fun and enjoyable vlog so inspiring. It’s speed counting the chickens for me 😅 I plan on making a bunch of different chickens to adopt for my youngest 5th birthday party 🥳 it’ll be so cute not sure if I should add some cows or keep it simple with just chickens 🤔 same with feeling like I don’t have enough of the right stuff.
I am working on a spider currently b/c i'm prepping for fall. I am 3 weeks out of carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve release surgery and after 20+ years of not being able to crochet due to pain and numbness, I am back at it and happier than ever. I recently heard another creator say that the best way to feel prepared for a market is to set a goal for the market. say you wanna make $500 at your next market. the way to feel prepared is to make sure you have $500 worth of product to take with you to the sale. I feel like that is a key component to feeling prepared for a sale. I'm really sad that I cant remember who it was, at the time I had no idea the advice would come back up, ya know? but credit is due to them.
I’m working on some Pawgy’s Place little critters for an upcoming Summer market :)
Love this video! How do you fasten off/secure the eyes when you’re done?
Currently making a sunflower granny square crop top for my aunt (she’s 18, I’m 13) she is getting surgery in a few days and it’ll be a recovery gift😊
That is so nice of you! :) Wishing the best for her!
Often, I pass from "I have too much stock" and "I don't have enough stock" depending if it's when I prep for an event, pack for it, placing stock on the table/stand and when customer buy things.
Sooo why not make a pink chicken!? It’s genius 😍🐔
I actually did make a couple of them! They sold very quickly!
Hi! Just stumbled onto your channel and I love your energy! I’m binge watching your videos lol What colors do you use for the chickens?
I love your set up. Did you hang out behind the back table?
I'm working on some pride octopi and frogs!! I have a TON of big events coming up!!
I haven't tagged or taken tally yet but yeah.. definitely need to get that template.
I'm making a color shift scarf from Annie's. I can't even think about how many plushies I need to make. ❤😂
I like watching your videos because your so happy, your dog Alice is so cute, crochet chickens and hats with bom boms so cute
No you should definitely sell the mice not keep them if you really want to keep one you can make another after market is over plus it could go to such a loving family or person
What totes are you using here? They look like a great size! Love your cow plushies!!
Debating on what plushie to make. Torn between another highland cow or use my new pattern for cats.. I got 2 weeks before my show and I'm at a tub and started another one.
I love your stuffies! If you're looking for more patterns to make for your booth, I sell some on ravelry! I will have some being added soon too, they're all Bernat blanket yarn patterns too😉
Omg those snuggies are adorable! Do you have a pattern for these?
Currently not crocheting at this moment since I’m nursing my daughter for nap but I’m working on a small wall hanging with changing color with the moon phases. I’ve never done anything like this yet so I’m challenging myself..with patience lol
Did you keep or sell Peyton’s chicken? Has he made anything more? 3:46
Love your vlogs - any content (prep, during market, just chatting & making, etc). Hope it’s a TERRIFIC market!!! ☺️🫶🏻🧶🐮🐭Xx ~ Lisa
I'm enjoying your videos and downloaded the pricing and profit trackers today...Hoping they will show that my pricing is about right, which it seems to be, but I'm just guessing, lol. I'm also a bagmaker, so wondering if the pricing sheet will work for bags too....I'll let you know! Thanks for all you do and share.
Making winnie the poo!!! I want to make a chicken and toothless snuggler ❤❤❤
Saw you at your big show! I’m busy opening a YARN STORE here in town. Hope you will pop by.
Oh my gosh, that is so exciting!!! I would definitely love to stop by :)
I working on tiny velvet gummy bear keychains:)
What size hook did you use for the cows? I just finished 3 and mine turned out smaller…. I think I may size up because I like the size of yours better!!! Great video as always!!! ❤
I am working on some baby turtles for me market in a week.
Hi! I was wondering what size hook you used for the cosy stitch cows!? Yours look so much more plump than mine are turning out!
I'm working on some chickens
i am crocheting a eggy froggyy wizard cap and hat
I made a chicken while watching this video! I lovee your content so helpful 😍! Also what is the cow pattern I love how they look so cutee!
Hi! I linked all the patterns I used in the description :)
@@camryns_cute_creations thank you 🥰
What yarn are you using to make the chickens? My Mabels are coming out very small.
💖💖💖
Hi there. Found your channel by luck one day. I am currently working on the Easy Peasy Knitted Baby Blanket from CZcamsr Sweet Southern Art by MJ. Wish I had street markets in my area to sell stuff in person. Online having a website to maintain is way too stressful in my opinion.
I am working on a loaf cat from anniecarawyart.
What colors does everyone use for the comb of the chicken? Bernat blanket Red.
I usually do red! Recently, I picked up this more orangish color that I actually really liked!
Where do you get your tags printed?
What size hook do you use for chicken? I use 8.0 mm and they're so small
How much do you charge for your mice snugglers?
Omg those snuggies are adorable! Do you have a pattern for these?
Currently not crocheting at this moment since I’m nursing my daughter for nap but I’m working on a small wall hanging with changing color with the moon phases. I’ve never done anything like this yet so I’m challenging myself..with patience lol
