I never knew that ONE single word could change the meaning of song so drastically 😭
There’s some great comments about what is happening in the MV and I’m fully in the camp that it is showing that while the world might feel like it is falling down or trying to drown her, he is there ready to support her even when she lashes out at him. He will wait until she is ready, hence the ending of it is her that reaches out her hand and only then does he touch her. Consent baby! He said that the MV is about what people go through in a relationship and, yeah, so much of it can be angry words caused by outside pressures in life, but the real ones in your life are the ones there to support and wait for you. They don’t minimise your anger.

A brilliant interpretation of Seven MV:
It isn’t that she doesn’t like him; but literally or figuratively she lives in a world where the building crumbles; water floods; she gets swept in a storm; she doesn’t want him embroiled in her tumultuous misfortunes.
Even in the restaurant scene, he just wants to treat her/set a romantic mood etc, but she feels frustrated bet her life has no room for that kind of luxury/breather. And cue, the building crumbles, a snippet/embodiment of what she endures/goes through.
But despite the tumultuous life she leads he keeps coming back to her, for her. When her life gets ravaged by a storm & she tries to weather it alone, he joins her in the storm even if it means tenuously holding onto a post lamp.
She’s living a life on tightropes with no safety net, life on the edge, but he goes even further to be with her, climbing up to her cliff on a mere plank to join her on her tenuous rooftop; she lets out a smile here when he refuses to leave her alone.
He would (as a joke or otherwise) die for her/‘keep coming back’ for her; she finally relents and offers her hand, which he takes, and they walk together into the wild storm, hand in hand.
SHE chooses to accept him joining in her tornadoes.. the ending speaks volumes
Notice when he buys her flowers, he’s not short on money (he gave a stack of bills to the seller): but he’s not a knight on a white horse/prince charming come save the damsel in distress. There’s no savior complex.

Any of you ever felt like you don’t want your loved ones to experience or know even a snippet of your life because it kinda sucks. So you try to shut them out to keep them safe but they break down all your walls and demand to be let in, demand to be part of your everything the good and the bad. And you give in to their love 🥹💜

I wouldn't call this stalking.
The girl is having "the world on her shoulders". Her head is in chaos, and JK is by her side every minute of the way as she is trying to push him away during hard times. When she accepts him and lets him walk by her side at the end, her head calms down and the world isn't so heavy no more. So the chaos calms down.
JK wants to be there for her, ease her mind and distract her from her head(with sex). He won't be leaving her side when she is having a hard time. But only actually touches her once she is the one holding her hand out for him.
It's a very humorous take on it, which is why JK is all over the place experiencing the chaos with her.
I totally agree with you about the questionable theme of stalking that might be going on here, I definitely wondered about that. But from the opening shot it’s sort of established that they are in a relationship. They’re just fighting and maybe this is just me trying to defend Jungkook here but I feel like there’s a lot of like subtle hints, that he’s not so much crossing her boundaries, or refusing to take no for an answer, he is more like begging her to take him back and trying to work through the fight. And there’s is very subtle moment when they’re on the scaffolding, where she sort of shakes her head and smiles, and it’s brilliant acting on her part because the way I interpreted is that she loves him and she’s just been really frustrated with him but she’s not completely closed off. I also appreciate that He doesn’t really try to touch her until she offers him her hand.
I love the humor in the video... For me that absurdity is what takes it away from the toxic stalking interpretation 😂 we're not meant to take it literally.

The outside pressures of the world is making her lash out in anger etc..."weight of the world on your shoulders" and our JK is waiting patiently for her. Only at the end of the MV does she finally gives out her hand and only then does he grasp it (finally)...consent baby! 😊 The real ones will wait for you patiently... because they don't minimize your anger. Whatever you're going through in Life, you'll know who the real ones are. JK is too funny and this MV represents that well. Others might interpret it differently, but that's what I got from it, plus it gave us a whole mini movie. Then the explicit version is another different vibe altogether. 😱😂🎶💜 He said what he said. Proud of JK!! Going from passing out flyers less than a decade ago to having people camp out for days just to see you for a few seconds! 💜

Some interpret all the catastrophes as HIS mess, which is good too, but your idea and the person's above are great also, implying it's HER life that's a mess and he's waiting no matter what...both are great, incredible damn song too, wow...cannot stop listening to it, it's the percussive track that comes in after the guitar intro that hooked me immediately.
