As a person who grew up Christian listening to Christian rock it sounded amazing along with 24

“ Moon “ ft. Don Toliver & Kid Cudi has got to be one of my favourite songs of the year so far. I don’t really know what else to describe it other than a “ fantasy “. It sounds spectacular and it almost feels like a dream listening to the song and listening to this song at night time is just on another level and will for sure be getting you in some deep thoughts

The transitions in Off The Grid are ridiculously good. The album feels like the amalgamation of all Kanye albums in one, like a summary
it does, and the word summary kinda scares me, maybe kanye is getting close to his career end
It feels like a mix between Yeezus and Jesus Is King. Truly off the grid
Pretty sure that’s the point, it’s him going through his life and picking it apart. then near the end he is rebirthed into a different, and better, person. going along with what happened at the listening party where he burns and then comes out with his mask off to marry Kim again.
Now that I’ve listened more, it’s really just him trying to get his mother back from god, trying to bring her back. Imo seems like he dies and then comes back with his mother, really just all up to interpretation.

There’s just a beautiful juxtaposition between Kanye’s newfound Christian humility in conflict with his massive ego. Absolutely love the album. It’s like finding a mansion after a hurricane tore it a part. It’s a mess, but under all the wreckage and chaos there is just amazing art and beauty and with each search, something new is discovered.

I wasn’t feeling the album after the 1st listening party but after hearing the 2nd one a few times it had me really anticipating the album to the point where when it finally came out I loved 95% of the songs, I think it’s definitely a grower

Donda is gonna be on repeat for the next few weeks lol. This thing is amazing. Beginning to end is filled with emotional songs, bangers, and everything in between. I’ll probably never listen to the album with the part 2s, but it’s cool that they’re an option. Plus if I ever listen to Jesus Lord on its own I will ALWAYS choose the pt. 2 cuz it feels more complete

It took me a 2nd listen to detach from the listening party versions and enjoy it for what it was all and then the 3rd time through it, kicked in fully and it was mind blowing.

Kanye fans have to come to terms with the fact that we’ll never get another MBDTF or Yeezus. At least he’s not like drake doing the Views and then Scorpion which sounds like Views pt 2. That cyberpunk comparison you did was definitely on point. I have a lot of issues with this album because I really really like it in general but the fact it sounds so unfinished at times, all the great stuff he cut from the album for seemingly no reason which made some songs worse like that pop smoke track. There was an existing version of Tell the Vision that leaked on a more complex version of the instrumental that we heard on Pop Smokes album with a longer Kanye part and verses from 2 Chainz and Conway + the beautiful beat switch and an outro with choir vocals and if Kanye just combined the leaked version with the version with Pop and Push that already came out it would be an amazing banger. Also big issue with this album for me is that instead of just adding the additional like 1 or 2 minutes to a few songs he had to put the remixes at the end of the album that are like 70% identical to the og versions which kinda ruins the first listen experience for a lot of people that wasn't aware of that because they come right after the track that feels like an outro and you mostly have to listen to stuff that you already heard just to hear a few new verses... I hope he'll be updating and fixing the album like he did with Life of Pablo...

There are highlights which are super high, but it does suffer from being bloated mainly. Most people don't have much patience, so that's why they'll just stop listening and call it trash (Not justifying the haters, just explaining what made the haters of this album basically)

It’s so deep, absolutely love the track!
As a hip hop fan and a practicing Catholic I loved this album. It feels like a sequel to TLOP in a way and TLOP is my favorite Kanye album, loving these gospel infused elements he has brought to the album. Also love the talk of god as our savior, powerful stuff.
As an atheist that grew up as catholic i can say that this was beautiful. When kanye aproaches religion like Jesus Walks, Ultralight Beam and this album i can feel his faith, the true spiritulity, not just a "I follow jesus blindly" like JIK, more like i've been in a dark place, i've been lost, but im home again. Real Faith.
@@AST-erisked I lost my religion for a while but I recently found god again after I lost my grandma to cancer and both of my dogs within the span of 6 months. I became incredibly depressed and my renewed faith drew me out of that depression so this album spoke to me on a deep and intimate level. I cannot lie, on the final track I weeped.

As someone that actually liked ye and JIK, those were projects that I felt needed to grow on me. It just felt like Kanye was a bit shaky the last couple of projects. But with this album, for the first time since TLOP I instantly love it. It almost feels as if Kanye remembered who he was and just how good he was at making music. DONDA is defs a dope addition to his legendary discography.

Come to life is probably my favorite composition on the album, it’s beautiful. Not a banger, you’re not gonna hear it in the clubs or on the radio but it’s just so sweet.
i love you because you didnt listening to anything at all in these weeks, and thats mental strongness, a real reactor.
- *Fivio rapped his heart out* like Kanye had his whole family lined up for a firing squad.
- *Weeknd, had everyone floating with no music just vocals* .
- *Return of The Throne* .. need I say more the song will likely be overlooked for the masterpiece it is.
- *Cudi and Toliver* simulated an alien abduction.
*There are more* but those are my personal highlights. Shame on the people who tried to start the trend of sayin this was “Trash” and “Mid” 20 mins after release.
