I- I could be wrong, but I don't think that your meant to wear high-heels while being pregnant-
It's not super great for your back, just like how high heels aren't great for your back to begin with, but the biggest concern is your center of gravity changes with pregnancy and there's an increased risk of falling. So technically it doesn't hurt the baby, but it can be dangerous as you get closer to the due date.

When my Mom was pregnant with me, my parents could barely afford the bills let alone when I had actually arrived. They had to leave the hospital early, because the cost was so high. I wasn't very healthy either at the time (Lung problems, still have them lol). Just a real struggle for years.
