The One Punch Man event is a serious game changer for Overwatch. This will definitely bring more hype to the game. Thanks for posting the battle pass, and now I can get OW1 skins that I couldn't get from loot boxes!

The Widowmaker "Six shots, one kill" voiceline feels like a personal attack tbh😭
In case anyone wanted to know the skins origins:
Chasa is based on Gangnim from korean myth (I'm not joking, that's his name) because the skin's name "Chasa" is a shortening of "Chasa bon-puri" which is a myth about Gangnim's origins
Demon Queen is based on Rangda from Balinese myth. Rangda has a lot about her, which I'm not putting here.
Hong Hai Er is based on the character of the same name from Journey to the west, which also has the monkey king, the inspiration for divine monkey Genji.(Incorrect, for actual origin scroll down)
Amaterasu Kiriko has a big and obvious inspiration, but also the moon emblem could reference the Japanese moon god Tsukuyomi, but I might be stretching.
Raijin Ashe is also obvious, but because their's two of them, I think Ashe is Raijin and Bob is Raijin's brother, Fujin. Again, I might be stretching.
And just for fun, Mei's empress skin is based off traditional Chinese royal clothing, but it reminds me of the Jade Emperor in particular.(Could also be Mongolian, but I'd need to look into that more.)
I like Blizzard's direction with skins these past few seasons, I hope these cool themes continue in the future.
Correction: The Genji skin is actually not sun wukong. It’s Hanuman, the hero from Hindu epic Ramayana.
You are probably correct about Bob being Fujin, considering the spray shows the two together and is called "Raijin and Fujin"
wait I though the divine monkey for genji is inspire from India-Thai(but the skin/spray in game is prob inspire from the thai khon) Epic Ramayana character call hanuman because the divine monkey spray in similar to the part where hanuman open his mouth and let the main character to stay inside I think (try type thai hanuman and search for image)
Mei's skin reminds me more of Mongolian traditional wear.
Thank you for this and yeah it's super cool and interesting that Blizzard are doing this because it gets people wanting to learn more about these kind of mythologys which I think is super interesting! 🤩
I also personally love it when whatever/whoever their skin is based off of also matches their personality and abilities too! I honestly just think that that is so creative and I love it! 💖😊

The Sigma bundle is an amazing deal imo. You get a legendary skin, the battle pass + 20 levels + 2000 coins for 30. And the battle pass is great too. I love it when they listen.

I don’t know if I’m 100 percent correct but I believe the voice line at 10:42 refers to the tale of Amaterasu hiding in a cave and being lured out by dancing

I'm pretty disappointed that the new battle pass give you CREDITS and not COINS, meaning you can barely buy anything in the shop or hero gallery or the store except for sprays and voice lines

I popped off when i saw there was an invisible man mccree skin, the invisible man from 1933 is one of the only characters i would consider cosplaying, and cassidy is perfect for the skin

looks like they gave kiriko skin the name of Amaterasu(sun goddess) but in her color variants it seems she has characteristics of Amaterasu's brothers Tsukuyomi(moon) and Susanoo (sea and storms)
Love that he says "i always get victory pose and emotes mixed up, and I don't know why, but this is a Pharah victory pose where she reoloads her gun but at the end of the day its an emote."...

opinions on the Ultimate bp Bundle?? if u already brought the bp u dont get 1k coins nor do u get a discount price.
People who brought the watchpoint during beta, that contained 3k coins for the next 3 bps, wouldnt have seen this type of bundle coming out. (since watchpoint pack already covered this season)
-My Bf brought this seasons bp right away with his last 1k from The watchpoint, not realising that the sigs bundle exists. Now he wants the Sig skin but hes being forced to pay full price which is so greedy of blizzard….

In the Kiriko skin the spiky hair looks like it was taken right of of Hanzos wolf skin

Quite shocking nobody talked about the Winston line. Science is pretty cool when you learn to check out the stuff that matters to you, instead of just memorizing crap someone else tells you to. In this case it's about fireworks: Strontium is used to prouce the colors Red, Orange (With Sodium) and Purple (With Copper), and Barium the color Green.
Matches the Asian theme (Fireworks come from China); matches Winston's Science-y personality; and is a funny way of showing his awe when looking at fireworks (Which can't happen on the moon, in case anyone forgot that Oxygen is necessary for stuff to burn/explode/oxidize).
One of the best voice lines ever IMHO, at least in terms of how much thought and research they put into it, and how well it fits the temes of the season/character/etc.
there are 5 legendaries and 4 epics in this BP. Previous seasons only had 3 epics (now there are two skins at tier 1)

For how broken ramattra is him blocking just reminds me of jojo they doing anime collabs give him a jojo skin. Besides skins winston needs a little rework why doesn't he have 2 shock gauntlets when he primals like knocking back people don't deal that much damage. and why doesn't he have a shock effect.

Funnily enough the mercy starter pack was actually ten bucks and not five but they gave you 1k credits as well so I wasn’t complaining. I had to get more credits to buy the battle pass anyways so might as well get the mercy skin too lol (fellow mercy main btw)

Has the Watchpoint Package been removed and replaced with that awful sigma package anyway? and the skins from that pack won't come back? I also noticed that some skins they had in the hero menu just disappeared, would that be a bug? I hope so and that blizzard solves it soon, I don't want to lose those skins.
