Love the caps announcers complaining about Rempe when they see Wilson do the same thing (or worse) for years. Pretty sure this is the guy who said “Wilson crush kill destroy” on a hit to the head Wilson got suspended for
That was a super mild “complaint.” Caps announcers are very solid toward away teams in my opinion.

These teams need to remember that the Rangers now have 2 of the biggest hitters in the NHL between Trouba and now Rempe. And they both now how to hit clean. AKYHU ( Alway Keep Your Head Up)

I don't care what anyone says, but that "interference" call at 2:06 is absolute bullshit. The guy had the puck, touched it, and then ONE SECOND later is hit. That's called "finishing your check" and that's done hundreds of times during the whole damn regular season and NEVER called. Glad the Rangers won, but seriously that was one effed up penalty call. Solid, clean, good hit.
He got 2 minutes for being Rempe.
I think the rulebook says the hit has to be within .6 seconds of the guy getting rid of the puck. That was definitely a clean hit though.
