Man, I'd forgotten what the beginning feels like. These days I have most of these stages set to auto-battle with just Ash or some such, and never think about how I did it when my ops were 3 star and level 1

Aak and Spuria(mostly Aak) will carry this whole run with the rules you put, if you get them tho.
Aak specially is busted with his module as he has very very good stalling abilities and semi decent dmg, if you pair him up with Threm_Ex he'll shred through most enemies with absolutely no risks.
Also LOVED the beatboxing section it was such a unique thing and I've never someone do something even remotely close to that in the AK community.

I feel like retreating an OP to save them would be okay, you're gonna miss a couple saves anyway.
Retreating folks moments before they die is definitely in the spirit of story mode. I think Jessica has that happen to her twice in the story. Also Meteorite, Frostleaf, Platinum and Innes, just off the top of my head. I'm sure there are others.
i feel like a lot of maps in arknights are made for u to fail first try/multiple times till u get the strat, and it makes it worse that u can only see the enemies after u tried the map at least once, so rule 5 might be an early game ender really. Well, i mean, thats more true to event stages and late story stages, but still.

Arknights Nuzlocke is such a hard challenge just because how easy the operator died compared to other gacha game doing Nuzlocke

Thinking about all of the other gachas I play and it's so easy for characters to die, especially since Arknights doesn't really punish you for letting a character die lol
stupid comment but that starting headhunting in unreal😭😭 I got Angelina as my starting 6*
I kinda skipped the four stars and went straight to five and six stars meta operators because i just pulled on every banner and got, like every six star (i started at the first texalter banner)
I had trouble when it got to the split lane crownslayer thing becahse i was under levelled (and have been for most of my gameplay until recently

Hmm, I just thought of another rule you might need to define. For a stage with a preset squad, will those count against your actual operators if they die? What about stages that automatically deploy one op? There is that one stage where [spoiler] is canonically taken out. What if you managed to pull her before that?

Nope, not good enough at the game to lol.
I won't be grinding for any materials though, beyond clearing the maps for mission completion. Other than what the story drops I won't really have resources to level up.
That said, if the story drops aren't sufficient and I find myself massively underleved I'll allow material maps for myself and impose a level cap
Did i get Rule 1 and Rule 4 wrong? Plume would have died in 1-2 attacks without you retreating (or you killing the enemy first which it would look like that would have been the case either way) i would consider that immediate danger how about adjusting the rule to "no retreaing while blocking"? its A) much clearer and B) it makes sense it would be hard to run away while being pinned down by someone the enemies cant move if we block them so we cant move if they "block" us - that also in turn means its fine to retreat while being attacked by potentially lethal ranged attacks, run duck cover

The fear is placing an op down and they're already effectively dead because I didn't know that they couldn't handle an elite that managed to reach them before they were able to stop blocking.

None, really. I just want to get as far as I can before I lose. I guess it's technically to beat the currently available story, but I'm doubtful I'll make it too far.
