I just got a frame with one of these in there already. It has GXP sized bearings and I need shimano. Do I have to buy a whole new BB or can I knock the old bearings out and the new ones in to the existing BB? Thanks!
EDIT: To anyone interested in the answer. You can reuse the BB shell and replace the bearings. The OD is 37 and the ID (For shimano is 24mm). The bearings you need for the shimano conversion are two MRA2437 LLB (or 2RS). They will be 24x37x7mm, can be had for about $15-20USD each. Hope that helps!

Can you assist me please? I am just about to fit a the same Wheels Manufacturing 366EVO BB which is designed to take a 24mm Shimano Crankset. Is it ok for me to use the FSA Adapters which I removed from the original 386EVO press fit bracket on the Wheels BB? If so, can you confirm that I can do away with the spacers which come with the Wheels BB?

I’ve fitted one of these BBs to my bike and it’s creaking on every pedal stroke. I didn’t torque it to 35nm as I was concerned about crushing the carbon bb shell on the bike. Just wondering if I’m being too cautious and if you can advise how tight it too tight? If its useful bike is a giant propel. Thank you!
Does the BB need to be faced when using a this type of wheels manufacturing bb with a lip? won't it creak or click if it's not faced?
Wouldnt hurt, that is if its steal or aluminum.
How are you getting on since the accident
This will fit into a threaded frame? Or is it for press fit. Also the diameter looks bigger. This won't fit in bsa square taper frames?
No. It is only meant for a bike with a press fit bottom bracket. In this case the BB386 designation. Some like time bikes refer to it as PF BB386. Which means PRESS FIT BB386.
Refer to your manual or online references to verify what bottom bracket your frame uses.
Is bb386 the same as bb86? Im trying to find this bb to install using a shimano crankset. The bb the bike currently has is a shimano 72-41. What bb does it use if its that?
BB86 uses the 24mm axle, BB386evo uses a 30mm axle or 24 with adapters! So you would need the BB86 for the Shimano crankset!
