    What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the Q50: For 2014 Infiniti has an all new replacement for the long in the tooth G Sedan and it's the Q50. For the 2014 model year Infiniti is renaming all of their SUV's and Cars to start with the letter Q to make it seem more simpler. The 2014 Infiniti Q50 was originally supposed to be the new G Sedan. The new Q50 should not be overlooked as this car is a true luxury sports sedan. On the new Q50 you will find two fuel efficient and powerful powertrains a 3.7 L V6 which delivers decent fuel economy and great power as well as a 3.5 L V6 Hybrid which all are made into a modern 7-Speed Automatic. On the interior you will find it to be pretty luxurious with nice high quality materials and excellent sport bolstered seats. There are two huge screens in the new Q50 one used for your navigation and radio and one used for your Infiniti InTouch Apps to access apps as you would on your smartphone. The screen you touch which is the bottom one tends to be very responsive and both of these touch screens give a very modern feel to the Q50. On the exterior the design flavor is more daring with a nice look at me road presence on the front end and nice curves are also evident all around too. Compared to it's competitors the Q50 is a very engaging sports sedan to drive and the new Q50 competes very well against the ever popular 3 Series, ATS, IS, and C Class. So is this luxury sports sedan worth looking at? Yes it is very fuel efficient and powerful powertrains, engaging driving dynamics, and a modern high tech roomy interior make it a very worthy choice in the Luxury sport sedan segment.

    The old exhaust is amazing. It's so distinctive, you don't even have to look to predict what car is driving by. I guess infinity focused a little more on luxury. Personally, I liked the raw and slightly unsophisticated G. But I do love the looks of the Q.

    @afrosheenix Před 11 lety

    No power thigh extension; that's manual and there's a lever under the thigh support for it. The switch you hit at 1:18 is for the side bolsters. You also didn't have to mash the remote 5 times to unlock it. There are sensors inside the door handles that unlock it for you...you leave the key in your pocket all the time.
    Also, not HID headlights. They are full LED for lows and highs. The taillights are a mirror version of the headlights. Hyundai, blech.

    Shawd comes with 305 BHP. It is heavier though with the awd and tech package. On the other hand it does has Shawd which is really efficient in power distribution so around corners it can be more aggressive. The Nissan would be faster in a straight line and depending on the track may be better or worse. As far as interior quality goes though I'd say both are pretty much on par at this level. The G version's tend to be a little less focused on ergonomics.

    I don't like it either but they are going to be renaming their whole vehicle lineup soon. Q = Sedans, coupes, convertibles QX = SUVs. I can see Infiniti staying with the old 3.7 liter VQ series engine for a couple of years, but that is really the most disappointing part of this whole car. Was expecting a 2.8 - 3.0 liter turbo direct injection engine. I really doubt the fuel economy will improve much as the previous EPA figures were highly optimistic. DSG transmission would be nice, but minimal changes on the powertrain side of things.
