  • I took advantage of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday and went all over the Bay Area to do some railfanning. I started out my day in Davis, like usual, where I then rode to Martinez. I only stopped in Martinez to see Amtrak 710 with the Venture equipment which is in my Venture set compilation video so go check it out! So the only clip from Martinez is a Capitol Corridor that picked me up and took me to Emeryville where I spent the morning and afternoon. It was very busy with not only Amtrak but there was lots of freight action as well! I caught a couple UP locals that had an awesome engineer. He played shave and a haircut on the outbound trip as well as returning in. There was also a BNSF local with two lite dash 8s. I also caught a couple road trains pulling into Oakland as well. I then hopped on another Amtrak to Oakland Jack London Square where I spent a few hours heading into the evening. Nothing out of the ordinary here, just the MRVOA making some switching moves that I was able to catch. Note CDTX 8311's horn unrestricted... I then head back towards Berkeley where I spent a couple hours in the evening. I saw CDTX 8306 leading the way to Bakersfield with its awesome P5 as always. I also saw the late California Zephyr just minutes away from the final destination. I then grab the last train I would ride for the day back to Davis where the adventures came to an end. Enough ranting, enjoy the video!
    Thanks for watching! 👍🏼
