What a beautiful flat fish! I caught one that size on a whole ballyhoo once offshore. We trolled up to the reef and dropped anchor and my bait sunk. Mr door mat found it and made my day, I'll take a nice flounder over a 3' kingfish any day. That day it was both and a grouper too.

That was a door mat flounder! Nice catch, and I'm glad that the mangrove snapper are still biting. I'm looking at trying to fish close to the jetties, and catching dinner soon.

Just a free tip. You should match the size of your hooks to the size of your bait not the size of fish you are after. If you want stronger hooks use 2x or 3x.
