Low Approach Over NASA Shuttle Landing Facility in a Cirrus SR20 | Biggest Runway I've Seen

- My buddy Luke and I were out flying around southern Florida in his Cirrus SR20 and thought we'd see if we could get cleared for a low approach over the NASA space shuttle landing facility. It worked! If you're going to do a low pass, you may as well do it over one of the largest runways in the world.
Didn’t know we needed to do this- but now I do!!!!
That was definitely one of the 10 best days of my life. 🤙🏼
Definitely on our "Bucket-List"
Just remember the 4 lane road is the boundary of the restricted area on the south. 🤦♂️

I just like the Viking better. I know the Cirrus is roomier and more modern but it’s so dorky.
My Viking was in the shop getting a new panel. This was a trip over to check out the progress and we decided to detour and do the low pass at NASA.
