Could you do a Mourinho vs Wenger video analyzing why Mou is successful against AW? What mistakes AW does against Mou to get hammered like the 6-0 against Chelsea? That would be interesting.

excellent video. dont see a lot of hard analysis of goalkeepers on the web. mostly just montages of flashy saves. i appreciate when ppl recognize and analyze the tactics teams like barca n city use to better utilize their keepers role in building from the back. so important in modern football

I heard a rumor about a year ago that City actually wanted Ter stegen instead of Bravo but Ter Stegen had just gotten his 1st choice GK spot so he didn't move. Instead city went for bravo and well he flopped.

I can just watch how he passes the ball with two or three opponents closing him down all day. He just so calm and cool with the ball. Doesn't panic at all.
He probably used to be a drug dealer in a favela or something, he won't panic about kicking a ball that's for sure haha

You've said it all the guy is absolutely amazing. Hes one of the best presently. Always cool and calm. Also he was a left back so he knows his runs and passes thats makes him a plus. He used to play left back

Vinicius Lira Da Silva Yes! For me the top 3 keepers at this stage along with David De Gea.
Yea he had a same kind of style, but i think ter Stegen is better overall, and his passing skills with BOTH of his foot is too good for a goalkeeper, even better than lot of midfielder i would say.

Since i'm not able to find that many striker analysis', and i'm always looking to become a better footballer (specifically a striker) I would REALLY appreciate - and i'm sure others will too - if you made a complete analysis of what the best strikers do. Or maybe you could make parts: a video for heading, one for shooting, one for movement off and on ball, one for when and dribbling in general, you name it. Seems like the perfect video/series of videos! :) BTW amazing work, always learn something new!

Such a good keeper
Good analysis, basically Guardiola wanted a similar keeper to Neuer but ended up with Bravo last year, as Bravo also has good passing range, but as a keeper he is average at best, and surly Ederson is an amazing upgrade.
he ended portuguese league 2016/2017 with 1 assist with a long range pass at the game against vitoria de guimaraes with a 5-0 victory (the second goal was that one), and champions league 2015/2016 with a really long range pass againts bayern munich at benfica stadium
he actually has a couple of assists for Benfica, not sure how easy it is to come by those videos. As a Benfica fan i miss this guy every game. We went from Ederson who "made" goals to Svilar who has already 2 own goals.
Now after 3 seasons

Like a young Neuer, clinical passing, not afraid to step off his line, When Guardiola was coaching Neuer he must have thought "This guy works well with my system" and at Man City he saw Ederson and thought, " He is just like Neuer, perfect fit to my system".

Seriously? Amazed? He's of no use to Mourinho because the dinosaur Mourinho always have 10 players in defense with his seriously dull football. When last did you see a Mourinho team play possession or exciting football.

@ 2.14 even though they were being pressed, stones insists the ball be played to ederson not minding the risk involved. it shows the trust the city players have in his abilities as a protagonist in the way they play as well as their assimilation of the pep football philosophy

The moment Ederson didn't back down for the 1v1 with a flying kick Sadio Mané I knew Ederson was something special. This kid would rather have his head taken off than allow a goal. He has both the mental toughness and game sense to be an all time GK if he can stay healthy.
