Playing with my brand new Janome 6650

Playing with my new Janome 6650 sewing machine. I have a basic beginner brother (hehe alliteration) sewing machine which I first learned to sew on. But over time I found myself wanting more space between the needle and the body, the throat space. So I went looking for a new machine that had the features I wanted. I wanted longer throat, at least 2 stitches, straight and zigzag, which eliminated many of the straight stitch machines, and a good name brand. I settled on this one and had been drooling over it ever since. It had all the features I wanted for the sewing I wanted to do. Quilts, aprons, clothing, basic stuff that I could think of for the moment.
So it sat in my cart for a long time, till finally I asked my husband if I could get it for an early birthday present. And he said yes I could. Its a spendy machine, but I figure this is going to be my one and done. It has everything I want on it.
This video is to show my friends on the Raining Crafts and Dogs discord server just my excitement over it. Dear god I'm loving what little bit I have played with so far and the various features I tinkered with are awesome. I have so much to learn still on using this machine to the fullest but I know I'm going to be very happy with this machine.
At this time I would definitely recommend it to other people looking to UPGRADE their sewing machine. I would not recommend it for a brand new beginner because it has a lot of overwhelming features, if you are just getting started in sewing from the beginning. Stick to a basic machine. But when you feel comfortable with sewing, oh yes I would recommend this machine.
For those wondering the cat in the picture is our little tuxedo. His name is Andrew and he isn't actually in the video, cause I had to chase him off the table. He had decided that EATING the thread as I'm trying to figure out how to thread the machine was the best way he could help me. Little stinker.
I am so excited to have this. Thank you Janome for making such an awesome, wonderful machine.

As in me pressing my foot on the pedal? Its just like a car accelerator pedal really. But if you tell me more about how you would like a video I can see what I can do. When I was doing all the sewing in the video, that was me using the foot pedal. I just chose the max speed using the slider on the sewing machine. But again please tell me more about what you want to see and I can see what I can do.
