I'm definitely a fan both of yours and socks and Martin love them Mopars I've been texting Fireball modelworks trying to get thermoquad carburetors he says he's thought about it we need to get more people to send him messages keep up the good work looking great
Thanks!
Super Cool, love the Paint work!!
Thank you.
As always, your builds are beautiful, the way you built this one is like I would do too despite the so many variations of this mysterious car and whether there was one or two of them. For the most part , I've read around lots of info that this car was powered by a 440 not a HEMI but who knows really? Again, a beautiful build and thanks for showing this one! Its one of the unique racers of the Sox & Martin stable
Thank you so much! So much is unknown about the real one.
Sweet build of a very cool car.
Thank you!
Wow what a bitchin car remember seeing it back in the day you did a wonderful job great paint job nice clean lines ! The one I saw was a Hemi. Beauty great job!!

Yes it does!

Thank you! I bought this new in the 80's One of the kits I have had a long time.
Always a pleasure.
Thanks! Glad you are enjoying them!
Awsome kit, i have a few
Yes! I have 2 more to build. Both are the Petty versions that you can build as the Petty Car and a stock one.
It's a beautiful build
Thank you!
@@TheMuscleCarModeler your welcome Raoul
Beautiful build, love the paint, very crisp lines, something I always struggle with. Race cars of all types often seem to be a more difficult build than a straight street car, due usually to multiple paint colors, smoothing roll cage molding lines, and, not as much reference material as we would like. But, like hpiguy says, "build for yourself"! This is supposed to be fun, part of the fun is building what you like, even if the scoop doesn't for sure go with the roof! Thanks again for sharing.
Thanks! Yes race cars are a bit tricky when it comes to paint!
Truly love johan kits, great videos, thanks for sharing. 58 and still building
Thanks for watching! Keep building!
Ive the r.p. superbird too im wanting to rc mine up. I really like the paint sceem too

Beautiful build, I have the stock kit of this one to do at some point.
Thanks! It's funny but the stock version is one that I don't have yet.
Another Awesome build!!!! Nice Job!!!
Thanks again!
Top-notch , Raul. Nicely done , Sir.👍
Thanks!
Wow, that Jo-Hann kit!? Very cool build too. I believe they were made to be built.
Thanks! I plan to build them all!!
Really nice! I'd like to have one of those.
You should!
Good looking build really nice paint work.
Thanks 👍
If I remember correctly Sox and Martin raced a Road Runner and Duster too...
No Roadrunners. They had a few GTX's. They had a lot of cars!
Raul, I would enjoy a video on doing a one-piece mold and even two-piece mold like you did on the boss 302 for the center console. Would love to understand what products you use and how you work your ratios for the resin and the mold.
Thanks! I have a few projects that will require some casting. So this will happen but I'm focusing on finishing up a few projects first before I get to them.
Beautiful job, I am 67 and going back to modeling. I always loved the winged cars. I just find out one in EBay, assembled (not in good shape, but almost complete), I removed the paint (I used one of your tutorials, thank you) and I am ready to tackle this job. Just a question what colors did you use? And again thank you so much for your videos.
Thanks you. Enjoy your rebuild. I know the blue was Testor’s Model Master Olds Engine Blue met. Red was Testor’s Model Master Italian Red. Both discontinued now. White I don’t remember but sure it was Testor’s also. All airbrushed.
@@TheMuscleCarModeler thank you, I should have those colors in my tool box. I have been purchasing tools, paints and models long time ago. When I was a kid I loved to built model kits.
Back than those guys had three or four cars Dick Landy and Bill Jenkins was like that this is the type of stuff I like to build. By the way when you spray the 2K clear do you use reduser at all if so what does that do to the clear because I also have 2K clear any tips would be helpful
Yes, they ran lots of cars! On the clear I use Sherwin Williams clear 939 (I have a video on it) It is mixed per the instructions at a 4:1:1.
@@TheMuscleCarModeler so you do use the reduser I`m using Tamco 2K clear. So does the reduser do slow down drying time?
They ran AHRA with one NHRA with the other ..
Interesting!
neat ralph lub me some sox nlove all martin grew up as a kid in the day waiting to see those guys racing with my dad have 5 cars now 164 slot diecast and 124s dick landy as well thanks
Thanks!
