I just don't why every single Java player is not even aware of the existence of MCPEDL and dozens of other websites which give original and free addons, maps and more.

I don’t understand why they think we care about add ons. If they wanted us to care they should have made them free. Java players have had access to free add ons since the beginning if the game. The bedrock add ons are no different from the things on the marketplace. And also, PLEASE someone make a free word edit add on for bedrock. A word edit add on would be amazing for bedrock because console players have never been able to have easy world edit
It's the developers of the add ons that make the price
There is currently a minecraft bedrock world edit port that's being developed and is constantly being updated on mcpedl, but I'm not sure how you could access it on console (maybe using a browser).
They use money to make those addons, if they didn't give them a price they would eventually be bankrupt and inevitably removing the game. So don't be too greedy

Java mods is entirely community writen java code + mod loaders (wich are also writen by community) .
Addons on bedrock is a set of tool and utilities built by developers of the game in C++ .
Datapacks on java is a set of tool and utilities built by developers of the game in Java .
Mods can be extended by community with a new features (thus we now already have 4+ big modloaders with unique set of tools and utilities) .
While both addons and datapacks can't be extended more than developers of game intended .
So , thats it - same amount of flexebility . Ofcourse addons and datapack is not a same thing .

@@creepermoonman5964 I tested, you can play with addons that you’ve downloaded without wifi, however, you lose access to skins you made or bought…. Thankfully i have wifi but thats bogus. I can list many things that annoys me with mojang but i can deal with it because it doesn’t affect me that much. However, needing internet just to use your skin is annoying. Minecraft Legacy, wifi or no wifi, all the skins were there, whether or not you bought them. (Obviously you needed to buy the ones behind the paywall) they were all there….

I've enjoyed all of the Add ons I've bought, and I get to support Mojang, who literally work on the game I love. Why is it such a sin for them to make money on something that doesn't effect you?

Nice tutorial, but it would be even better if it included a method to not sacrifice Achievements to use Add-Ons. Giving Bedrock PER WORLD Advancements would be a great solution!
This is the only reason I don't use add-ons

I have a realm world with add-ons and I still get achievements even tho it tells me it'll turn them off its very weird

there are already survival worlds that give you achievements.
@@toritation Well not pay to win but if they're something like overpowered tools then it would certainly make getting achievements easier. Then again, it would be nice to be able to use free add-ons with achievements so I see what you mean.

Might not be so bad if there was a way to earn coins, otherwise i find having to pay for "mods" kinda ridiculous, if you have java edition there's almost no reason to get bedrock edition unless your friends only have bedrock edition

I think in the next Minecraft update you should add ruby’s to the game (includes ruby armour and tools as well as ruby blocks and ruby shields ) and I think you should also add birds to the game as well and instead of just having iron shields you should add diamond shields netherite shields and gold shields and backpacks 🎒(that you can dye) and a new dimension where you can find a new boss and when you defeat it you unlock a new crafting recipe

Now what we need in the Marktplace are Shaders
There are already some but they are horribly poorly optimized because they haven't add the necessary tools to implement it.
While this isn't really add-on related, i would LOVE it if we got an option separate from the main texture packs where you can choose a texture pack to only take the mob textures from. Either that or some texture packs that only change mob textures and nothing else.
I love the texture packs i use atm but REALLY want to try changing the mob textures up and i just can't unless i also change the block textures. (Am on an xbox series S and as far as i can find there isn't a way for me to just change mob textures and nothing else easily unless i use some third party stuff which is way too complicated for my simple brain to understand)
