That is correct. A real grillmaster will have washed the grates like just out of the box before putting the cover on the grille for the evening.

I got into woodworking a number of years ago and not having a ton of money to buy new tools, I started buying older hand tools and reconditioning them. Starting with hand planes, I found having a DrillPro, plus some smaller knock-offs, perfect for degreasing and cleaning the top surface of hand planes or a lot of tools that have painted surfaces or Japanning, you want to preserve. I also use the more abrasive discs to clean bare metal surfaces, if they don’t require grinding or sanding.
When my wife’s father passed, we inherited his shop full old, grimy machining tools and electric motors. Not having a need for such things, I put a lot of time cleaning them up, lubricating them all, then selling them. The DrillPro made that work considerably easier and faster. Also, tools and equipment that are cleaned up sell faster and for higher prices. 😃
One word of advice, when using this kind of tool to clean, where coveralls, eye protection, and put up some plastic sheeting, cause it will throw grease, grime, and all sorts of other nastiness all over the place.

Bought the yellow kit years ago when they first started out. It is now one of the standard pieces of kit my wife has for her cleaning business. If they get a shower/tub or any tile area that is neglected and dirty the kit makes quick work of it. She runs my old Porter Cable 20v drill with it 😄 I can definitely confirm they are great!

I use one with a 6" extension for cleaning baby bottles and all the "hand wash only" insulated cups. Works great and saves the wrists vs a bottle brush.

Nothing wrong with leaving grill grates dirty after a cook. The fats and oil will coat and protect the grill from rust. Get your grill hot then clean it before using it. Then leave it dirty until you cook again. Just my two cents.

Before I do any grill cleaning, I turn on and turn up the heat to 500+F for about 30-45 minutes and let the debris turn to ash. Then it's a simple matter of brushing away the ash. It's the same process as a self-cleaning oven.

Tangent: what tires on the truck? I've got a 2012 Ford F-250 farm truck we got last year that came with some southwest brand ATs that are not bald but are horrible in snow and not great even on grass; but we also tow occasionally as much as 7k and frequently use the full size bed as an actual truck bed is meant to be used.

I always hear you talk about Ideas for video’s so I thought I would drop this Idea. you know I’ve got a lot of tools and often times we want to bring some thing in our car truck but real quickly can get out of control with as far as you know size and all the sudden you know you’re taking a half of your trunk bringing tools on the chance that you might need it. I’d love to see a video about just a quick bag something small that we can throw in our car. things that it would include, I would assume would be in the smaller lithium ion card jump starters and a few other tools the ideas and packaging but again want to see what we can do to keep it small. Hopefully you like my idea and put out a video big fan of the channel I’ll be watching thank you
