VEVOR 3100 CFM -9 Gal Evaporative Cooler (Unboxing)

The Temperature is crawling up to 97 degree this week and it will be 115-120 degree during July and August. Our current AC units are old (2006) so they are not as efficient. The 1st floor unit has a leak too so I'm saving up money to replace both at the same time.. but for now I'm using this evaporative cooler to supplement the cooling on the 1st floor.
I ordered this from Amazon for $166. This evaporative cooler is for indoor or outdoor use and it is ideal for areas with LOW humidity. I was told if you live in an area with high humidity ( 60+%) then this unit will not work well. Phoenix Arizona has humidity ranging around 0% - 15% on a daily basis.

Commenting from So Cal🌴 ya know, where they don't care that the humidity is through the roof & triple digits all the time! ha ha
Every single year the humidity is brutal!
I was going to get a built-in swap cooler. But I didn't like the idea of a hole 8:47 🕳 the size of a window🪟 being cut into my home. And a door or window having be open.
That's why I opted for this one with the wheels|portable.
The sun is brutal in the bedroom.
Anyway, kindly comment on which hose you bought. The size.

I'm not connecting a water hose to this unit. We are using it inside the house and only for 3 hours during the high peak period. I just add more water as need from the top. This is an evaporative cooler so it will add more moisture to the house. High temperature and high humidity will be make it uncomfortable in the house so i tried to keep the humidity under 60%.
