Hi, from Saco, Maine! You guys did a nice job making the state of Maine seem very special. Unfortunately, not all of Maine is this classy & expensive. The farther north you go, beyond Portland, even though it’s beautiful along the coast, it’s more like “real life”. We welcome all tourists to Maine, but it does not have to be expensive to be beautiful. Just so your viewers know, Maine is a great state for everyone!
New England is the only part of America I could ever really feel at home in, being an Englishman ha ha. It's just an ethereal place. I was lucky enough to visit upstate New York, Great Lakes, Vermont, Massachussets, etc; as a teen in 1987. 30+ years on, and I can still smell the air, feel the light and taste the truly awe-inspiring power of nature that exists there. It really is an American paradise. That wood laden pottery store. OMG! Just, wow! And you get places like that everywhere. And the trees.... don't get me started on the trees ha ha. It's beautiful man. Many thanks for reinvigorating my world with these videos. And I hope your journey goes smoother in future.

early 80's. What memories this brought back. Of course it has changed..
my favorite times were walking along Ocean Ave to see the sunrise and
the mists that would roll.in during the evenings. It is a very special.place..

I grew up at the foot of the Smokey Mountains so I always considered myself a mountain girl. Then I moved to Long Island and the south shore and the ocean. I love it as much as the mountains.

Funny how the mind works. I live very close to the ocean and everytime I visit the rivers and mountains then come back to the ocean I always feel the mountains pulling me back..

I had a hippieish teacher who was so cool (I can see her face & wish I could place her name). I vividly recall the day in class just before summer break when she told us her husband was a chef & they’d recently purchased a restaurant in Maine and would be relocating. This was 28 years ago & I still remember the excitement in her eyes. I often wonder whatever happened to them & if they’re still there. Without question, every time Maine comes up, I think of her😊 Anyway, I love how you & Joyce go H.A.M. for your channel & your merch! Looks fabulous. I want one of everything!! I grew up in a small Coastal town north of Kennebunk Port.. Called Biddeford Pool. 30 minutes North. My Family owned a Restaurant there called Hattie's Restaurant. My Family had it for about 30 years.

Hey I am a maineiac from Kennebunkport born and raised! It is unfortunately an expensive place to stay but it is beautiful to visit and we love guest. That was funny in the Biddeford car wash you turned the truck around to not see the buildings. Lol. Also it may not be a huge deal for some people but a huge corporation has bought about 2/3rds of our restaurants and bnb hence the high end and expensive prices. They have all kept there old names so only some of the locals know about it. There used to be more family run businesses when I was younger. I could make a list but the earth restaurant you visited is a good example. Less than 10 years old and owned by a wealthy investor from Miami. Like I said before still beautiful but these companies synthesize the experience for profit and take the money out of our town. There are still family run business. If anyone has any questions about Maine or places to visit please let me know.

Kennebunk Port in the Summers would have a lot of Tourists in the warm. Summer and falk Seasons. And the Holidays they'd do a Christmas Prelude. And they'd have a huge tree in the Center of town.

Hey Kyle,I just watched your video showing your close caland I paid yes, but I wash"l with a lightning strike. Two years ago I was in Selida, Colorado in a Pilkington the side o the road trying to get my out of the plug o I gave it a yank an inside o f vehicle turned white nd the thunder nearly threw me across the front seat, luckily I had gone seatbelt on.I couldn't see for bout a minute and my head was pounding. A guy came to the car and asked if I was alright I said yes but I wasn't sure. Google called it Dry Lightning or Rogue Lightning(prob 20-30' way). My name is Bob and live in Syracuse, N Y. I love New England and plan to hike and fly fish there this fall. Love th music and the beautiful scenery, keep up the great work!!!

Hey Kyle, it's 10:40 am here in Willow, Alaska and a beautiful bright sunny morning. I'm sitting having my coffee and watching my friend having fun in Kennebunkport. It is always nice to meet up with a good friend after a long time away from each other but, you made it look like you didn't drift away. As usual, you did a beautiful video of you trip. When you show New England, it not only brings back memories of my home in Upstate, N.Y. but, it brings back the history of the Northeast which there is plenty. That might make for a great video, you doing some history. Thanks again for a great video.

Hello, Just a quick stop by...enjoyed the video. Live in West Kennebunk since 1993, where we raised our boys. Kennebunkport is my go to for fishing all summer, but the town is even better for the Prelude Festival...Imagine, Dock Square with 5K folks drinking beer and singing at Christmas time.
