Joey had such a clear and beautiful voice we lost her too early may she RIP
My sweet Grandma passed away over the weekend. We played this version of the song at her Memorial service and it was so beautiful❤️ I remember her singing this song around her house as she did chores or baked or just went about her day. Such special memories.
As I listen to Joey sing this old favorite song, it touches my heart so to know that she is now at"home "! There's no more pain and tears.. Just "supper with Jesus!"🙏
Joey's voice is so soothing, filled with so much emotion and love... up in Heaven with her loved ones that went before her and my 17 year old son.. (who also lost his battle with cancer) Home with the Lord

The song Joey sang come home it's supper time brought tears to my eyes when I heard her singing it, My Daddy always loved that song & growing my Sweet Daddy would always say before leaving for work I'LL be home at supper time. when he passed away Dec,2015 That Beautiful song was sang at his funeral. Thank you for singing the hymn my Daddy loved so.

Written by Ira Stanphil. Irving Berlin wrote a different song with the same title.
I heard Rory say Joey didnt want to have a baby. She wanted her career on stage. He said they even fought about it. The Bible says young women are to marry and bear children. God told the man and his wife to be fruitful and multiply.
After 14 years, Joey decided to have a baby.
We know what happened.
She lost her career and her baby and her life.
God said His Word will not return to him void, but, will accomplish that where unto he sent it.
Not judging anyone.
Just observed what went down afterwards. Sad.
