I love this song. When I hear it I think back to when I was just a small boy growing up in West Virginia. My Father was a coal miner, my Mother just a house wife, however both of them were Christians and loved the Lord. I can still see and hear Mommy calling for me to come home and eat because it was Supper Time. Mommy will have been gone ten years on the 18th. of this month and I miss her and Daddy so much. I am 63 now, I will always miss them.
my dad sung this song all the time when he passed away it was sung at his funeral to this day I can close my eyes and see him singing it and I know one day we will gather once more for supperime

I've loved this beautiful song since first hearing it many years ago. This rendition is my favorite, George's voice is so comforting.
