- In today's video I wanted to go over what makes my audio in game so clear and crisp, whilst it may be hard or you may not be able to acquire what I recommend, this is by FAR the best audio you can get inside of Rainbow Six Siege.

Amazing, been waiting for this! Goodluck this year!
This guy is so genuine
love the content. keep it up!
awesome video thanks a lot. Keep up the great content!
Nice settingg !! ty for sharing
I've had night mode for as long as I can remember and every time I would take a break and come back to siege it would catch me off guard because it muffles the louder sounds like gunshots so much sometimes you feel like the person is shooting from far away and then you swing and they're closer than you'd think they are. It doesn't even make the footsteps louder like people say it just makes all the other sounds quiet, I switched to Hi-Fi last season and it feels so good and consistent, also hatch droping, crouching/proning, reloading sounds much louder and more clear on Hi-fi
Maybe i should try hi fi some more. But i tried it today and idk, i didnt hear the things i would normally hear. But maybe i have to try for a bit longer.
Yes felt the same way
Yes me too! Only bad part is my ears hurt so bad from explosions😆
why u replay what hes saying ;D
Would love seeing some vids for decision making, positioning and or also for how to play 1/2 V X ect.
A lot of it is try and error, playing 1vX is all about resource management and splitting the fights into micro 1v1s. It can be complex but you really want to focus on what will be the best decision on the situation you are
GOAT GIDS
Been using night mode for some years now but will try hi fi now
i dont have playback on my sound blaster command anymore do you know the reason why
My only issue I am having is I can’t pin point exactly where the are coming from, like idk if the Enemy is running from the left or right or coming from above or below. I know one friend he can pin point exactly where the enemy at and can tell. I play on xbox
Run high fi, game is louder but noise and location is more diverse and more clear
I’m late but try Dolby atmos it’s helped me on every game and it’s a 1 time 15$ purchase
Should u use dolby so on or not
i’ve always used tv since ps4 before switching to pc
The audio enhancer I use is called FXsound, and it seams to be the best free software in my experience, it is pretty basic but did help my headphones to sound better than stock
Good to know, may help others watching!
plzz can u share your fx sound settings that will be very helpful for us.
@@sksahil8798 I just use the gaming default and then turned off bass
Nothing that can't be corrected. I've seen players go from catching colds to catching game-winning touchdowns in under 2 years.
You use g6 and fiio togheter?
I'd recommend trying the 7.1 surround sound setting a try rather than stereo. I'm pretty sure its stereo audio but more in-depth.
7.1 does not work for siege
Just use open backs
@@LeonGidsworks for me
@@Hira-litwerd, cuz siege was made for stereo audio and not for surround 7.1
Night mode makes louder sounds quieter and quiet sounds louder, which is why it's the best audio mode.
Even if HI-FI makes sound cues slightly louder, the clarity on night mode is unmatched with a good headset.
what its a good headset for u in r6
@@pablogalianoarjona7073 It depends, I've used a lot of headphones/earbuds over the years for gaming but currently I've been using hyper x clouds 2's for 3 years now, the sound is good, it has great clarity and hq audio, insanely comfortable earphones and feel similar to bose headphones, almost feels like two pillows are attached to your head.
The only problems I've had with it so far,
is the mic it comes with as it's just a neutral run of the mil mic,
and the soundcard only has 4 options;
vol up/down, mic vol up/down, 7.1 surround, turn mic on/off.
If you can get a good soundcard + mic paired with it then yea it's really good IMO for reference, I only play tac/comp shooters, and some people actually legitimately think I'm cheating but it's just that the footstep clarity/bass is really good to the point where it almost feels like you can hear exactly where they're running/walking.
Also, there's no true "best gaming headset"
just get headphones that are within your budget, look comfortable, don't have shitty reviews, and come in your size.
i think night mode is better because you are able to turn up the volume higher than you would with high fi. So it makes foot steps louder in that way and shots and nades will be the same as high fi. with high fi i cant go louder then 40 master volume but with night mode i can go to 50 to 55.
@@Kanudee yes but with night more is harder for me know if the sound its far or near.. sometimes he was literally at 1 metre from me and i thou i was soo far.
@@pablogalianoarjona7073 Yes. Night mode feels lack of depth and Hi-Fi gunshot is too loud for me. TV is the best for me.
Master level needs to be at 100%, then use your mixer to get your volume in ear to your liking. idk why anyone would nearly mute the game by using such a low premix volume....
How are you playing with master volume on 20%??? I have mine on max and it’s so quiet. Other games are deafening at like 80% but siege for some reason isn’t.
Soundblast makes it extremely loud with high quality, even then 20 sometimes is too loud
@@LeonGids there's something genuinely wrong with mine Leon. my 100 master volume is the same as my brothers pcs 40 master volume. every other game like cod is deafening at even 80 percent. someones shat on my siege lad idk what to do except use equaliser APO
What headsets would you recommend to combine with Sound Blasterx G6?
Currently, I’m been using Astro A50 1st/2nd Gen.
Thanks in advance…
I've not really tried many headsets, Hyper X Cloud 2s were good
dt 770 pros 80 ohms for closed back or dt 990 pros 250 ohms for open back
im on 100 master vol with sound booster and still cant hear anything
Run high fi, yes the game is louder but so is everything. Someone running or prepping a nade and etc…more sound diversity but they down side is bleeding ears that’s it
I’ve found you can run it quieter and still have better results
I don’t have half of those audio settings and can’t find where to turn on my mic? Can someone help?
Idk how to turn on the mic but mine just doesn’t show my name when I talk so I always think I’m talking to myself until someone responds 😂
32 bit isn't going to help you if the game is native 16 bit, if anything you could introduce issues with playback
Nah, shouldn't make a difference. Downsampling would, but a 16bit source sounds the same whether through 16bit or 32bit output.
does dialogue need to be 100. that shit loud af?
What headset you use? Also played against you recently well played
He says in his Pro Settings video
@@mrstewie64 cheers mate
hes so sweet
Does increasing crystallizer make a difference?
I’ve not tried to but worth trying
depends on headphones, gaming headphones need higher values than say studio ones, i use 45 with my studio
Is 7.1 Surround Sound good to use?
No, siege audio is not made for 7.1
@@LeonGids ive been lied too this whole time holyyyy. Thanks
7.1 surround is not good on any tac shooter.
Although it's nice to use in campaigns or solo games if you want a more cinematic experience.
@@ohhkennny766 surround is awful for single player what are you on, and 7.1 can help with localization for some depending game of course
Is this for PS five or PC?
In game can work on any platform, sound card is for PC
@@LeonGids I watch your video again so you said hi-fi is better on PS five
Hifi is better yes@@hp1799
Bro enough with the yapping omfg
Least toxic Xbox pfp
Is windows 11 good for rainbow??
I had a good fps jump after upgrading so may be worth trying
