Won't this game be included as part of Xbox Gamepass Ultimate ? Since EA Play got combined into Gamepass Ultimate, so now just about all the EA Games are available for free to play either by downloading them or using Microsoft xcloud gaming to stream it straight to your PC or console.

For Christmas, my mother bought the collector’s edition because I have good grades. I am a little pissed about the delay, but I will be looking forward to the Star Wars book I bought for the in-between fallen order and survivor.
I just preordered the standard edition. The deluxe edition DLC just doesn't justify an extra 20$ for me and the collectors is not only sold out, but was also imo to expensive with about half the price of a new console.
A game company who doesn't take some form inspirations from modders are insane. Not only is it good feedback, but it's a creative fresh set of eyes for the project
Actually the Hero cosmetic lightsaber does indeed look more like one of Luke's Lightsabers as the version of the Skywalker Lightsaber this is based on was never wielded by Anakin. The Skywalker Lightsaber was modified multiple times, it has seen four different versions, of I'm not mistaken.
I'm glad they moved the release date for Star Wars Jedi Survivor, it'll give me more breathing room to decide which version I'm getting, and im kinda leaning towards the deluxe edition

@@chato209 unfortunately I feel that gaming companies have been doing that for years. I don’t have a ton of examples but I specifically remember Call of Duty Black Ops 2 requiring you to pre-order (I can’t remember if it was just a pre-order or if it was a specific edition) in order to have access to a certain map (fan favorite Nuketown), and I was bummed because my mom didn’t want to preorder it so I wasn’t going to be able to play that map. Not long after release, it became available for everyone to play. Scummy, but it’s a way to get people to shell out just a little extra for something they don’t want to miss out on. Then they can turn around and release it for those who didn’t want to spend extra to get it and it doesn’t exclude anyone.

The pre order pack looks much more interesting than the deluxe pack. I do agree though that for the money that the special edition cost should come with everything. That said the standard edition will do me fine, especially with the preorder pack.
I am probably just going to purchase the Standard Edition, because I can't fathom why the game would charge $20 extra for cosmetic enhancements! Now, if it had DLC included, with additional story, an additional map included with the DLC, and more side quests, yeah. I can understand picking up the $90 game. Totally! But spending $20 extra to just make things LOOK different in the game, and get another weapon when the weapons I'm sure you can pick up in the game as it is are just fine as they are. It just doesn't make sense to me! Maybe I'm just old fashioned in that regard. No judgment at all if people want to spend the extra $20 to get more clothes and looks for BD-1 and blasters. Go for it! If you want it, get it! I have no beef with any of you. But for myself, personally, I just can't imagine spending $20 for just...cosmetic upgrades. On a completely separate side note, though! I loooove how they said that the worlds would be bigger, and more full of life than the first game, which is amazing! In my opinion, the planets in the first game seemed so empty except for the Empire enemies. There were no towns, or people to interact with, or anything of that nature. The locations seemed really dead to me. The only planet that had any form of actual life on them besides the Empire was Kashyyk, with the rebel forces that you can interact with. That was good when I got there, because I was finally able to talk to people rather than just the crew on the Mantis. But it would have been nice if they could have included a few towns to go into, relax at, grab a drink at a local cantina, get a few contracts, etc. The first game seemed so dead in the world. There were villages I was fighting through on a few of the planets, sure! But there was nobody in them! Just closed doors and empty streets! Exccept for, like I said, Imperial Stormtroopers. But I kind of understood why! I watched an interview with Stig Asmussen at Celebration 2023 and he said that they were so rushed to release the game. That they barely had time to get it finished before it launched. They were rushing through it to finish it, and a lot of the stuff they wanted in the game, they weren't able to finish putting it in before they had to release it. So I get it. Totally. When you're literally crunching at the last minute, you have to make sacrifices. It was still a great game. But I am so glad now that you can actually go to planets and walk around, explore, find people to talk to, pick up side missions, open world! It's amazing and I love it, love it, love it! I can't wait to play Jedi Survivor. But like I said. It's probably going to be the standard edition for me, because it looks like there are already a ton of customization options in the menu for Cal's clothes, weapons, and BD-1 as it stands. Without having to spend $20 extra dollars. But that's just me. Sorry for the long rant, and may the Force be with you all!

5:40 this is false, you get everything from both standard and deluxe editions in the collectors edition. They list "copy of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Deluxe Edition" and, since the cosmetics are included in the deluxe edition, they didn't think it was necessary to list it separately
That is both Anakin’s and Luke’s lightsaber. Taking the time period of the game into account, it would be more Luke’s lightsaber since he inherited it from Obi-Wan and Anakin is “gone.” Luke’s other lightsaber you mention is his other one in Return of the Jedi he makes after he loses his father’s lightsaber in the iconic Darth Vader duel in the end of The Empire Strikes Back.
for the rebel hero pack it is right that luke's saber with it looks like it could be called anakin's saber because the first saber that luke gets is the one that obiwan gives him that belonged to Anakin. but it would also make sense for that outfit because that is the lightsaber that Luke has at the end of A New Hope
I only care about the game. I will do what I always do with a game I know I want. I preorder it about 3-7 days before release so I can preload it. That automatically give me the preorder basic stuff.
Man it is good that Star Wars Jedi Survivor got delayed. This will get them the time they need to iron out the bugs in the game, on the other hand it will give me couple of months to do multiple walkthroughs of Hogwarts Legacy! Also, we have Spider-man 2 coming out later this year. Really hyped for this whole year!

Beware of buying anything from EA on Pre-order. Though the first one was complete on release, EA are notorious for releasing unfinished games. In most cases, by the time the games are complete they are on the EA Play. Pre-order at your own risk.

As far as I checked the collectors edition does come with everything the deluxe editions comes with. If you see the description it should say it.
