should I keep my wildcard for semis/ I have a feeling that theres gonna be a lot of transfers happening then. I want to do 4-5 transfers this week though, and don't know if it's worth losing that 4-8 points. Any tips?

Spain v Germany is a coin flip for me, and I still back France to beat the winner. England are a bad joke but still favourites to progress 😅. So I have to back the Dutch more for now. Urgh.

My team is similar to yours except I have Gundy instead of Musiala. Would you prioritize Mus or Rodri the final Mid spot? I can afford either
I would have said either is fine - musiala was obv the most interesting in open play.

Hey Fran, a question for today. Who would you captain out of De Vrij, Van Dijk, Kane, Simons and Gakpo?? I’ve had an awful week so far with cancelo getting my only returns on 6 so hoping for a Dutch masterclass against Turkey today.
Personally went Gakpo but didn’t work. What did you go for?

I'd have said avoid the -4 but idk if you did that, how did it go?
@@FPLFran I kept Donnarumma. Net -1 (Maignan and Simon got 7 and Pickford 2) but I am still pleased I didn't take a hit for a goalkeeper (and picked Memphis (captain) instead of Gakpo in the end.)
I have to make 3 transfers: 1 defender and I don't know who between kounde, ake, VVD and 2 midfielders between Nico w, f. Ruiz, Gundogan, Xavi or or others that you think are better thanks

Carvajal to 5.7 defender? My other defenders/gks Cucurella/Carvajal, kounde, cancelo, ake, Pickford (gk), neuer (gk)

Interesting England, France and Portugal have been disappointing offensively...the two most prolific offenses Spain and Germany unfortunately are going up against each other here

And yet all the favourites won and the picks did well. Having a view that includes both is key. Don’t ignore numbers and percentages imo

What's your strategy then Fran? WC this week or save for the semis? Also, I think Declan Rice is being overlooked a little - his ball recovery rate is decent despite no attacking returns
