That was awesome, Maria! That's a lot of dancing in 8 minutes, but also all power to the corps!!!!! They do not get to leave the stage, and that is some hard stuff they had to do together! Like that arabesque at the end of a really difficult sequence! Amazing job corps! (and soloist) but mostly corps!

This is a beautiful interpretation of Petipa's original choreography - but note that the first reconstruction of the whole ballet was by Pierre Lacotte for the Paris Opera Ballet back in the 1990s... The parts of the ballet which survived in rep in Russia were the additions by Minkus/Petipa in around the late 19th Century.

In the 60's, the Soviets then Sent their great dancers to Cuba to train young dancers AND With the genius of Alicia Alonso, now her son have done Marvels in their 2 opera-ballet
Theatres, on this tropical Island.also have very talented dancers AND are recognized internationally.

Маша прелестна, спору нет. Но просмотренный ранее спектакль Вагановского училища, приводит меня к выводу, насколько важны костюмы и их "цветовые пятна". Вагановская версия привела меня в восторг, и сейчас я понимаю, что сделал Цискаридзе. В одном из интервью он сказал, что сам заказал обрис пачек балерин. Они были более глубокие, пышные, целомудренные что ли, наполовину шопенки. И воспринималось это феерически, и сам акт был феерическим. Главная героиня в голубом выделялась на фоне остальных. Здесь костюмы, конечно, хорошие, но что-то тут недостаёт, что-то пропало. Совершенно не сужу технику, даже если она и выше, то это печально.

У меня воппос, вот главные или примы после выхода на пенсию могут работать преподавателями балета. А остальные балерины из кардебалета что будут делать?

While I appreciate the opportunity to see this beautiful dancing, I still need to say how annoying it is from an audience's perspective when someone close to you takes videos during the performance. The lit displays are very distracting and there is more than one reason why most theaters actually don't allow filming.

Dariana Paraschiv ..mmmh I don't intend to offend...it is just "my opinion,"....am now t in favour of the the colour of the tutus!!!!!the dancing is perfection,but for me ,the wardrobe is atrocious!!!!...my personal choice....not to offend anyone...not the colours of my choice!
